Yeah,it was stressfull! I had unexpected problems with Unity just before the end of the submission time...
My game is browser based, steampunkish and has a deeper meaning to it, hope you'll like it.

Promise to try your game as soon as I get to my laptop. I already like the name ;)
I rated yours yesterday (just commenting so I can see where I'm at on the list) - but yeah, I know exactly what you mean about having last minute problems in Unity! I tried to implement a neat lighting effect when the items are ported in mine, and it completely broke the game! I still haven't figured out why. Had to backtrack and use a particle effect instead, but it happened with less than a day to go and really made me anxious!
I think the problem I had was with an animator. I had placed a 2d light with the intensity turned to 0 on an object, then used an animation to ramp the intensity up when triggered. It caused a couple of objects to spawn in weird locations. I think perhaps it was resetting the transform location even though the location was never animated? Like I say, weird last-minute problems, heh. Fortunately removing that effect fixed the problem...
A fun shooter game, where your goal is to get shot and to not hit somebody!

Unfortunately, I submitted this game a few seconds too late, hope you still give it a look.
Rated - I like it! A lot of work went into the graphics. Similar to a few of the comments, there could be a little polish on the size of the playing field and where clicking on an item doesn't snap it to the center, maybe some kind of evidence drawers so you could switch between items easily. Solid concept, though! The music fit well, too.
Really enjoyed it. Check out mine if you get a chance :) https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/477169

Thanks for everything
Here's mine, INSTRUCDOORS! You choose your own path in this one.
I managed to pull off 7 endings in a week (and I wasn't in a team, so I did everything myself.) Planned a bit more, but ran out of time. Still, really proud of what I've got here and it's worth to check out!

Please have a go at ours as well! First ever game jam so would love some feedback!!!

Rated, I like the idea a lot! I may come back after the jam to see if you implement checkpoints. I wouldn't mind exploring the game further, but having to start over is just a smidge too tedious. It was a little hard to see some colors of objects, like the blue platforms in the third level, but overall, it worked well and I like the color changes.
Oh boy, was it stressful.
I'd really appreciate if you play and leave a rating on our game. Play it for the art in the game.

Unfortunately, we couldn't all the music placed in time. But we'll update it as soon as it's possible.
Any feedback would be appreciated as well.
Rated! I unfortunately got pretty stuck due to a couple bugs, and being unable to read the ip and password properly (I think?). I couldn't get the sticky notes to go away, or the keyboard to recognize inputs. I saw you're planning to update it after the jam, I'll try and check it out again later, the concept seems quite interesting.
Yeah we're absolutely updating it!
We've already fixed the couple of text encoding bugs and added sounds and fine tuned the startup to resemble a more Windows-95 startup.
The sticky is minimized by hitting the page no. in the bottom left corner. And I've fixed the text parsing problems and the close button animation problem as well.
Just we have to get the story in place.
Rated! There are so many games, but I'm slowly working my way through them. I liked your concept, and the color palette is just beautiful. The mirage effect was a neat idea, but I don't know if there's any way to make it subtler? It was making me feel a bit nauseated, unfortunately, and I had to quit out. The beasties were great looking and the music was very pleasant.
My Game is: https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/476937 its called You Thought!
Hm... I think I must have run into a bug with yours? After the narration, the sun face doesn't go away (not sure if it's supposed to), nothing ever spawned, and my age remained at 20 the whole time. I know the game works from looking at the comments, so I'm not sure what happened. Rated based on the lovely graphics and music, as well as my impressions from the comments and what happens if you try to quit, haha. The idea is good, not sure why I couldn't get it to work. :( (Windows version)
Hey there! This is our first game jam that we participated in and here is the link to our game, we hope you enjoy it!

And we were 2 people and this was our first game jam
Rated, the graphics and audio are top notch! But I could not figure out what I was supposed to be doing. From the comments, it sounds like the raccoons were supposed to talk to me? If so, I might have run into a bug. I encountered two raccoons and jumped on them to make them non-antagonistic, but nothing else happened except being able to jump on their heads (which made me laugh!)

Here's mine, Hope you enjoy it! I'll check yours when I can use by PC.
https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/477402 A simple arrow clicking game. Hope you enjoy!
Rated! Fun idea and gameplay, but I felt bad for the poor cloud, lol. I had some trouble with the multi-press, and trying to disable it didn't appear to work... just some notes if you decide to do any further updates after the jam. Maybe a speech bubble for the cloud too? His lines came up right over top of the colored lines in the background, making it a little hard to read.
Thank you very much for the feedback and rating it is much appreciated. Unfortunately i run out of time to get the multikey disable to work in the main game but it should work in endless mode. Also the cloud had a speech bubble but once again no time!!! I have already updated those two features in the upcoming update!! I am still working on making the multikey press more consistent and easy to use. Thanks once again for the feedback it is much appreciated!
PiFox.
It's a very challenging music game! Thank you! https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/476247

Please please please play my game and give me constructive criticism if any, really looking forward to improvise it after the jam
https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/476600
Rated! I enjoyed it and the graphics are lovely. The music loop is a little short but a nice track. The quests felt a bit repetitive and there really wasn't a clear indicator of when you should attempt to lie, and catching out the "spam" quests didn't seem to have any result. I did appreciate that you included the marker guiding you to where the quest was, but it definitely needs an arrow icon or something. Overall a very strong effort for a one week jam!
Rated! Cool concept, and once I figured out the things I could do I enjoyed playing for a while. I suppose my most immediate feedback would be things I'm sure you're already working on - a menu, a pause screen, better indicators of what is ammo and where the gun is, a success and fail state, music and additional sound effects, etc. It was also a little hard to swing the hammer in such a way as to hit the enemies beyond the barrier.; it felt like I was often a little bit off. The animations were great and it's still impressive what you got done in a week!

A game of following simple instructions. Will you listen to P.H.I.L, or will you disobey his every command? Find out in the hilarious 2d platformer: "DON'T DO IT".
I hope you enjoy playing this game as much as we did making it. I would love it if you were to give us a rating and a comment as well! Thank you and have a nice day!
Need two players for the game. check it out :D
https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/477121
Rated, interesting to see a two-player game! I unfortunately didn't have anyone to help me test it, but got the gist of it from playing one side at a time. The constructs are a nice mechanic, and I died from shooting one and then touching it while it was burning, lol! Oops. I can't even win against myself! Could use a little, subtle music, but I suppose the audio queues might get drowned out a bit. It was hard to see where the player could go, too - I got stuck a few times. I also had a problem where the Controls screen in the menu went off the screen, even when I made the game full screen. I couldn't see everything and it looks like there were additional control keys under the Construct keys that I couldn't make out. Overall a great game, though!
Heres mine https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/477236 hope you like it :)

Rated your game (and commented)
Feel free to do the same to mine: https://mechaspear-studios.itch.io/a-normal-dungeon
Rated! That was fun, though I had a little trouble with the first couple of levels and not having any idea what I was supposed to do. Strangely enough, I got through the last two levels very quickly. The music was a bit repetitive, but it was okay. The blob was kinda cute, for some reason, the way it jumped made me laugh. My biggest critique would be a matter of presentation - for a jam, maybe don't require an installer, and if you do, make sure the game is named appropriately - I had to go hunt down an installed file that was just called "Made in GameMaker Studio 2". Otherwise, it was cute and I made it to the end, so I liked it. :)
Here is my submission would love to get to the 20 review threshold.
https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/476721
Rated - Oh, man, that is hilarious. I didn't get past the "technology is bad for you" section - my main critique would be having to listen to the narration repeatedly. The animations were downright perfect and had me giggling every time. The narrator was just the right level of downright evil. I also ran into an issue where going between levels lagged long enough that I thought the game had crashed; there might just be enough content to need a loading screen of some kind. Loved it!
Here is my game: https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/475876
I would appreciate it if you play and rate
Thanks!
Here would be my game: https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/475985
Hope you like it :)
Rated, that's a pretty unique concept. Almost like a hidden object game, trying to figure out how the statement relates to the characters. I think the timer moved a little too fast even at the start, and got to the point where it was virtually impossible to answer in time. The music was very pleasant.
https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/476263
Thanks! Playable in browser :)
Rated, that's a good and surprisingly underrated game! I enjoyed the last puzzle. For some reason, I couldn't hear the pet sound - at least, I assume that's where the high pitched noise should have been. The animation was funny for it, though! You had some cool and unexpected ideas, and the narration fit well.
https://jordanbaltich.itch.io/cut-the-grass would be awesome if you could rate my game!
Rated, I liked the graphics! The controls were a little awkward - for 2D games, try using GetAxisRaw so the character doesn't slide when they start and stop moving. There were also multiple places where you couldn't see down to the platform you were meant to jump on and had to kinda guess where to go next. Otherwise, it was fun!
