Ehm alright, I'm a bit confused. At first I thought, easy compare the fingerprints and find the corporates. Then I realised that the screwed up paper in the middle (first case), was actually two photographs. However, these indicated a different suspect than the fingerprints. So I thought that it was all a big lie and the one that I didn't suspect was actually guilty. However, no matter what I did I only got the third ending.

Nice Papers Please vibe and cipher! I liked the detective work that was going through each stage. I got all three endings. One thing that would have been nice is if when you click to drag an object on the table, it picks it up at where you clicked on it. I get the time crunch of only one week though, and the visuals, audio, and overall vibe of the game fit very well! Great job

I like it !

I like this papers please Feeling.

Music fits the game theme/feeling and the "red glass thing" is a Pretty cool idea.

Pretty nifty detective game! Takes some real thinking to decide who is guilty...

Really did not mind the music, personally, it was fine - and there is a handy volume control right there for those that are bothered by it :)

A very pleasant game with papers please vibes ! I think the game design of each case is intersting and the multiples endings add a lot to the replayability. Even if it had some papers please vibes the game was still innovative. The link with the theme could maybe be more present. The Graphics were fine. But I didn't liked the music of the game :(

Great Game overall !

Really nice game, we went sort of in the same direction for our games, with the idea of being an inspector. I liked the fact you added a Caesar Cipher in the game to revert, it was a very enjoyable experience. I hope you get the time to make it into a fully fledged game some day :)

Good paper please like game, but the evidence's table is too small and space organisation is a problem. Musics sounds a bit cheap and repetitive but the old school ambiance is very nice ! Good job (^u^)9

Really nice experience. The only thing I would change is the screen size.

Your title text art is amazing!  Also, all the art is really well done. Really cool concepts and mechanics too!  Discovering who the suspect is super fun, great job!

Please check out my entry if you have time~

Really, really good game.  I loved the mechanics of all the clues. And the art is very good! The first game that actually intrigued me and made me think! You should make more levels and release it as a full game! I would gladly play it. The only thing I would add is a way to get papers off your desk, because my in game desk looked like my real life desk! :D

Thanks! I would like to expand on it, I couldn’t really get in as much subtlety as I wanted in three levels so I think expanding it would be a great future project. I like the idea of getting the papers off the desk somehow, I did notice it felt  a little cluttered.

Awesome game!!

The atmosphere is perfect and it reminds me of Papers Please a lot. Really well done.

I didn't like the music, though. Since this game requires a lot of concentration, the music should have been more ambient and consonant, avoiding a lot of changes. It works great for the menu, though.

One problem I had with the game that made it pretty frustration is that fact that whenever I selected an object it's pivot would snap to the mouse. That made it really hard to organize them on the table (which is the main action on the gameplay!). You can add an offset variable that gets set when you click on the object and then you set its position to the mouse's plus the offset.

Anyways, congrats on making it! If you have some time, I'd love if you checked out my game! ;)

thanks! This is great feedback. This was my second time making music so I especially appreciate your thoughts on it and I'm glad you at least like it for the menu. The paper snapping is definitely something I'd work on if I continue this. I was also trying to figure out how to put the one you picked up most recently as the front most object but just couldn't get it working.

I'll try checking out your game when I get home too!

I just went to look at your game and I recognize it from the progress thread; I wanted to play it already so thanks for the easy link!
