Nice game! i liked it it was fast platformer, but i was stucked at level 2 i think when the player spawned inside the terrain! Anyhow the first level was generally good! i liked the retro graphics also!

Interesting game ! It's a little buggy but it is not game breaking :)

The music is really good ! I like the one that is played in the second level.

The theme is introduced nicely, strange things happend when you jump on the enemies but you really understand why only at the end.

Cool game but I am not sure how it is connected with the game jam. I also found a bug where you get stuck in the ground when the level starts.

You put together a cool game!! Interesting redo of Mario :D

Loved the fast paced movement, and catchy music, very dynamic and smooth controls ;) The pixel style works good, somebody chose some good color combinations and nuances! Also loved the parallax at the beginning, do it more next time ;) Funny comments on the "actors" hehe

 "Why are there invisible colliders (sometimes on grass sprites) and why does the character sometimes land inside the green grass platform?" <- nevermind, I saw the credits :)  Don't take this personally, but that jump sound is so overused in many retro games, including my "LINK" too :( Tune it to something more original (I raised the pitch way up, you tune it more!), even if you want to give the nostalgic feeling, be unique, with unique sounds!

Was there supposed to be some mechanic with touching the dark ones? Besides the screen shortly flashing dark?

Hey, thank you for your feedback =D I take note for the jump sound.

In fact, when you "kill an enemy", you can see the trickery for a few seconds. You can see the reality, the film set with cardboards clouds and scaffolding, etc. These are clues to make the player understand that he is not really playing a platform game but that he is actually shooting a movie (revealed at the end of the game).

Okay, now it all makes sense :D I wondered why did the sprites change at the end and what's with the sudden "cuts" from "scene" to "scene".  So good to see this game got done, from when I saw the prototype!

the game is awesome , music is awesome. there are some controller bugs like not being able to jump whilst walking and the game could use some narration I sorta didn't understand how it went with the theme

Nice platform placement! Made me think without being too difficult. The story is also good, and the visuals when you touch an enemy really enforces it.

Nice work! The alternate realmy screen when touching enemies was cool, as was all the little touches like jump particles and hearts becoming anatomically accurate :P nice twist too!

Yeah, besides the mentioned known bugs, this is a nice little game. I like the screen shake, parallax, and the color change when you get hit by a baddy. Some collectibles would have been a nice touch.

Graphics was amazing! However the controls were great and all but sometimes my character just randomly stopped. Was that intentional?

Thank you for your feedback ! Sorry sometimes the player gets stuck in the ground, it's very annoying I try to fix it for a post-jam version :o

Un jeu très cool :) le pixel art est très sympas et il y a plusieurs musiques qui sont toutes réussites ! J'aime notamment beaucoup l'utilisation du thème. Bravo à toutes l'équipe ;)

Nice game ! I especially like the little music and how it changes when hit an ennemi. Couldn't finish it tho, on the second level i managed to get out of the level by going left, and on my second try i got stuck in the ground at the start of that same level. It seems like you handle collisions in a wierd way too. Good job ! Keep making games !

Thank you for your feedback. There are sometimes very annoying collision bugs that I didn't have time to fix before the game was released :( You can press R for restart the level if you're stuck.

Great game! The visuals are very good in my opinion, also de sound design... The inputs are a little clunky though.

With that fixed, I would add a few more enemy types and levels, and it would become an awesome indie :)
