142 at my first run ! :)

Nothing else to say, really good game, it reminds me a lot of moments spent (wasted) on some bullet hell games such as Touhou, that was really funny to play ! :)

Simple controls (only one button), but there's nothing more to add to make the game interesting to play. These controls are really reactive and precise on a gamepad, GG.

These visuals are really good, especially the "aura" VFX that I really like.

Also, good job to Oxalotte for all these musics.

I've nothing else to add, or maybe a way to indicate the health remaining in an "embedded" way in the design ?

I also had the feeling that sometimes the blocks couldn't touch me during their creation, maybe add some feedback to understand when they become "active"?

But TBH these are some details to find something to improve in this game, which is still excellent.

Good job ! :)

Yeay ! I saved the 2020 GMTK Game Jam ! :D

Nice game, was fun to play, had some troubles into the maze but I just changed my mouse sensitivity and that was fine after that :)

(Maybe putting a disclaimer for epilepsy and other stuff like these in your page should be a good idea ?)

Good job ! :)

I had so much fun ! :D

This is soooo accurate, had some stories about my cat jumping on my keyboard which were as frustrating as this cat.

For the moment I'm the 2nd player of the leaderboard, I hope I'll stay there ! :D

Good job :)

Haha ! I made it :D

Nice game, lot of possible improvement but that's really cool ! (Maybe something to check the level before playing it but I saw that it's not in the game because of the lack of time, maybe improving the level design, some new features but it's still a really good game :D )

Congrats ! :)

My apologize, I told you that I was going to try your game few days ago, but there it is ! :D

What a nice word, that was fun. :D

I just saw something about the last level, I don't know if I'm the only one who got this bug :

When you play in the tiny web screen, the spikes seems to be at a normal speed but then I tried to play in fullscreen (to have a better view of the controls) and then I realized that it was impossible to be faster than the spikes.

Without this bug, this was challenging but still fun.

Anyway, good job to you :D

(Fun fact : When I read the game description, I was thinking that Major Tom was a reference to the MGS's Major Tom, then I realized that it wasn't . :D)

(PS : Sorry for my poor English if there is any mistake, French guy here ! :D )

Hey !

Thx for testing, I'll check your game before the end of the day ! 😉

C'est long quand même. :D

Bien joué à toi. :)

Merci beaucoup Kalendhos ! Commentaire très touchant de ta part. :)

On note les remarques de notre côté ! :)

Bien joué à vous ! :)

Merci beaucoup, ça nous touche vraiment !

J'ai eu l'occasion de tester ta participation hier aussi, j'ai adoré !

Thanks a lot for your feedback ! :)

I'm unavailable right now but I'll be happy to test your game this evening ! :)

Good job !

Some collisions problems, but everything else works as it should. :)

I enjoyed this game a lot, congrats ! :)

Hey AnimatedGlitch !

We're sorry to hear that, after checking on the Internet, it's a known problem that we had, after many attempts, it was hard for us to find a way to fix it.

The only solution is to jump again when you're stuck into the ground. If it doesn't work, sadly you can press R to "Restart" from the last checkpoint.

We're sorry for this inconvenient problem, we hope you had fun testing our game.

Just be safe and I'm sure one day you'll have your revenge by destroying everyone in a Game Jam ! :D

If one day you'll make this game you wanted to, just message me. I hope to try it one day :)

Yup, I guess it is not too late but as PedroGeraldiAguiar said, you'll have to think about how to reuse what you've already done to save some time if you can :)

Good luck bro' ! Don't give up :D

Awwwh Thx ! U2 Ms.RedNebula ! :D

Awh, sorry to hear that.

Nobody got hurt, it's "just" a Game Jam bro', you'll have many other opportunities to have your revenge against this shitty moment of your life.

All the best for you in your life bro', take care of you and your loved ones. I hope too see your nickname in another Game Jam one day.

TL;DR : First Game Jam ! :)

(First of all, sorry if there is some mistakes, I'm not English sooo .. :D )

First Game Jam too !

I see that people are posting their lil' story about it and mine is a bit cool too so I'll try to explain.

Something like 10 years ago, I was playing on a game server with someone else and I was really happy to play with this person, it was one of the first game where I just wanted to go back in the game to share some good moments with someone else that I only know from / by this game.

Sadly, the server has stopped running and the Teamspeak (or Mumble, I don't remember) has stopped running at the same time.

Discord and every other things were not created / as popular as nowadays so sometimes if a game server was down, it was hard to find a person somewhere else.

Maybe one month ago, while talking to people from a YouTuber Discord server, I saw a profile pic' which was the same than this person had 10 years ago, what I was going to do was going to be soooo dumb, but I asked to this person if she was the same person than this person I was playing with 10 years ago.

Guess what ? I was right.

Less than one month later, we're - with a friend of her - participating to a Game Jam, 10 years later.

I always had game's ideas, dreams, etc. But I never took the time / had the opportunity to makes anything else than a Game Design Document.

This was the opportunity to finally make something.

I'm not good at Pixel Art, I'm not good at anything, but I'm trying to do my best to make them proud of our project and to be useful to them.

If we're uploading a game which makes them proud, I'll be the happiest guy of this Game Jam, trust me. :)

This was my lil' story about this first Game Jam, I hope we're gonna have the opportunity to make everything we wants and to make some others in the future.

That's what I was going to say, if we want to create a game to win a prize, I think that the best way to do this is to create a game to sell it to players.

In my opinion, winning a prize in a Game Jam is just a bonus, but the first prize is to have the opportunity to make a game, to be proud of what you've done and to learn a lot. Having some new contacts, having fun (even if it's not always funny to spend time to do something which is not working / not as you thought).

Having prizes "Unity-oriented" is not something which is bad for me, they wants to create an event, Unity replied that they were gonna support it, it's just a good thing.

You can't have a prize which is going to be really cool for everyone, a pixel editor software licence ? What if I'm making 3D games without any pixel art ? A game engine licence ? What if I don't want to use it or if I've already got this licence ? etc.

Just be proud of what you're doing, Maybe you'll be good enough to win a prize, then if you don't want to use it, try to find a friend or someone who needs it, you'll make someone's day. :)

Have fun /all ! :D

Hey man,

Don't give up ! It's okay to feel a bit bad, i've made a lot of projects during my school years (hardest projects I've ever had in my life).

The first day, you're happy because you know you're gonna do your best, you've got plenty of ideas.

Then the second day is coming, you start to have some troubles, to realize that some things are not possible.

But that's normal, maybe lower your expectations, but never give up ! :)

You're here because you wanna be better at making video games - to end this week with a game you've made, etc. Don't give up ! :) \0/

Stay simple (Don't try to have too much ideas) - Never give up - This is your first one, even if this is a bit too simple, that's okay, that's your first one ! :D

BTW, that's my first Game Jam too, good luck and have fun everyone ! :)

We're thinking about it and we'll try to have a game which can be done in 10 min' max'
