Congratulations Sir!💗
Thanks! I learned my lesson with the hints, and oversaturated graphics. Hope you learned something new too! :)
Very good looking game. It's impresive that you achived such nice graphics in a single week. Please check out mine and rate it as well when you have time.

Amazing! I feel like i am in K.Nolans movie interstellar and i have entered the fourth dimension while Hans Zimmer is blasting the music. The game really feels unique and looks great but i feel like you should tone down the special effects just a little :D Or somehow synchronize them. Dont get me wrong they are really good but its over saturated. Overeall great job keep going! Check out our game
Thank you for the detailed response! It's supposed to feel like the fourth dimension, because you're in a place between lives, limbo, more exactly. There are no tutorials there, you have to figure out what's what and how to get reincarnated.
Many people said everything is too saturated, and I harmonized it, based on your feedbacks, check back in a couple of days, to see the updates and the rest of the levels! Will check your game soon ;)
The graphics are great, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Thanks!
Where exactly were you stuck? Like I wrote on the game's page "No need to rush... Observe, understand, choose a direction, and ALIGN! [...] every information you need for the puzzles are right there for you, just pay attention to the shapes, shadows and reflections"
I went upwards following the route of the small half diamonds. However, I wasn't sure were I needed to move towards; there was no glowing object (or something) showing were the exit was.
ok, thats good, what about the red door at the end? It shows you something (precisely 4 of them), something you've collected (touched) along the way.
This game looks. so. cool. from the screenshots. I'm on a mac, so I can't play! ;0; But I really want to!
Just wanted to let you know - lookin' good. ;)
Thank you! On the last day, right before uploading, I had the time to install a mac builder for Unity, and I still decided not to, out of laziness and tiredness, and now I wish I did. Lesson learned. Check back in a couple of days, when I'll post the updated version (mac included, for sure)
You're welcome! Can't blame ya, looks like it was a ton of work already!
Looking forward to the update then! :D
That.. was made... in a week!?
This is INSANELY beautiful, I love the style of it and it's astonishing! It looks better than a lot of games out there! Although, the reflections could be dimmed down a little bit.
Also, my mouse wasn't locked to the window, and I would end up having my mouse on the other monitor a lot of the time. On top of that, you can't look up which was super irritating; I felt like I didn't have as much control because of it.
Other than that, this is fantastic so good work man! Cannot wait to see what else you make in the future.
Thanks for the feedback, noted! Yes, it was made in 5-6days, because I had to work on the last 2 days... That's why only 3/6 levels got done, but at least I managed to polish them. You don't really need to look up, only around you (for direction) and below you (for landing). That camera and movement script was pretty tricky, I'm not entirely satisfied either, but I sure learned a lot about controls :)
Wow! You put ours to shame :D (Feel free to play/rate it!). It's good you managed to polish the existing ones: I wish we had done that now but we went for quantity over quality :/
That makes sense but for gamers: not being able to look up is really disorienting.
At least you learned a lot, though, that's all that matters!
Rated - Really cool lighting, particles, and effects in this! Nice 3d modeling here too. Good job submitting a game. Hope you learned a lot from this jam! Take peoples suggestions and improve the game, or your next jam game. Please check out my game when you have time~ good day!
Thanks a lot! This is the first gamejam game which I couldn't finish in time, and it's the most complex. Maybe someday I'll learn to plan better, and put more hints/clues.
amazing puzzles. really challenging and nice atmosphere! rated!
Please, don't forget to play and rate my game which is the most rated game in this Jam already: https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/476599
Thanks! Yes, the puzzle to open the gate is super challenging apparently... I'm curious how far you've got, so I can know where to hint more (text hints so not only visual right brainers, but also linear left brainers can piece the puzzles more easily)
Very cool game and music. For me just the reflections are somtimes a little too much.
Thanks! Glad to hear you've enjoyed it! Most players are not used to games like these where they have to figure out what to do based on observation and understanding. First I thought the water's reflection from the first level is suggestive of where you need to go, and then I realized maybe you're right, and added a water shader to it, so it gets "separated" from the other reflective surfaces.
The game is really crazy kkkk. I couldn't understand anything but i couldn't stop playing, the game is really beautiful and really crazy. A great entry :D
Thanks a lot! Read the description on the game's page and you'll know what you need to pay attention to. When you meet a woman you don't know but who you really like, what do you do?
A beautiful game but I feel like a just took a hard acid trip. I wasn't sure of the goal or if there was one? I'm old so maybe I just don't get these new fangled games 😛😛 Props on making a 3D game with some very fancy shaders, lighting and audio.
Haha nice one! You're not old (and I'm not trying to be judgemental, but this is the truth) , it's just that 70% of the people are sensors, meaning they see familiar patters they learned in the past, and easily understand what to do. The other 30% of the people are intuitives, meaning they see abstract patterns they never seen before, and easily make sense of it. The game never aimed to be conventional, or obvious, just a bunch of metaphors unraveling as you progress. And you're right, I put some more hints and clues in afterwards; make sure to check back once the rating period is over! P.S. all my intuitive friends figured out what to do.
P.P.S. I already have your game pinned, will test it out soon ;)
Hi, so i played the game and now im gonna comment about it. Lets start off by saying this game looks cool the graphics are op and the audio is very good as well. This weird looking platformer game is actually really fun to play. My only complaint is that it doesn't fit the theme, from what i've played at least. All and all this is one good entry with op graphics, music and audio effects, it just doesn't fit the theme. Kudos, well done!
Thanks man! Glad to hear you had fun! Unfortunately, with this vague story and levels missing, you can't really tell what the lie is. Next time I'll plan shorter or improve my workflow, so the message gets properly through! ;)
Even so, criticism aside i think you did a very good job with the game. And your welcome! :)
Played and rated, pretty awesome game!
One of the most mysterious and challenging puzzle game I've played in the submissions so far :)
What I liked were the audio (footsteps, jump, music) and the art that make the game feel mysterious and unknown.
The atmosphere and the idea are unique and well thought!
However my negative point is that the game isn't easily understandable, I found myself wondering what was needed to be done for a long period of time, to the point of being stuck without any hint at the Water level, and also being really confused on what was walkable or not in the earth level to the point of starting to randomly guess everytime (no real way to memorize from trial and error).
For a 1 week game jam I think you did an awesome job on the content, and the atmosphere of the game!
Thanks for playing & feeding back! During the short 6 days I was focusing too much on finishing as many levels as possible, instead of focusing on some more hints and highlighting the key pieces of the puzzles... Still glad to hear people made it to the Water level (which displays the credits at the very end, by the portal) P.S. I fixed the Earth level, thanks to what you said!
I love the graphics and the design, but i usually find myself lost in the levels, But anyhow its the most good looking game i have seen in this jam.
please rate mine as well https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/475929
This game is really original without a doubt. I enjoyed the atmosphere given by the graphics and music but too many times I felt lost because I didn't know what to do. I stopped at WATER level because of that. The first level is pretty well explained even if I didn't completely understand how I opened the portal, did I hav to touch all the flying poligons? In the earth level I liked a lot the antimatter thing but when I reached the top of the rotating building I felt frustrated because I didn't know where to go so I started moving randomly until I realized that the other poligon was inside the structure and not on top. Then again I didn't know how to open the portal so I moved randomly until something happend.
I mean, it's cool to make an enigmatic and atmospheric game but I need more hints to actually enjoy the experience because I felt lost after few time.
The synthwave music is nice but you have to develop your musical ideas better, maybe expand them a little and also improve the timing of your music because I found the loops starting off beat and without properly resolving the phrases. You got taste and ideas but you have to improve your composition skills. Also I found the sound fx for the jump a bit out of place in the context of the game, it sounded more like a platformer jump then an adventure complex atmospheric game.
The models were really nice and I liked how you structured the levels, especially the EARTH level.
Nice and unique game for this jam!
Grazie for the feedback!
You're the first one I hear to reach the WATER level and I'm glad someone made it that far with so little hints and clues. When you make a game, you know 100% about it, but I have to remember that new players start from 0% and some more hints would have been useful, for sure. I have to plan shorter games, or improve my workflow, because this one is still vague (and half-finished), despite a lot of polishing.
It's my first time composing music on a piano, I know it's not perfect, will improve on it as you said.
The atmosphere of the game is quite incredible. The colours, visual effects and reflections make the game really unique and original. There are sometimes visibility and camera problems but it's already awesome that you made a 3D game for a game jam ! The sound atmosphere is also very good. It's always a pleasure to test your games and enjoy the experience you offer =D Well done.
Merci beaucoup! I polished and polished and tested and polished again (the music composing was lots of creative fun), until there were only 2-3 days left, and I realized only 1 level got finished out of 6 lol... Levels 2 & 3 got done too, and sadly the story is still vague, so many will not understand... Lesson learned: plan shorter games, or with less visual work.
This game will get finished btw.
The game looks really cool, but the reflections got a little confusing at times :) It was a little hard to work out what to do at times but the platforming felt good :) Nice work!
Thanks! I always test each jump at least 1000 times lol, because you always end up modifying the platform placement many times, until it feels great. Wanted the player to figure out what to do, and the reflections are intentionally set in those angles, so the player pays even more attention, and you're right. some hint texts would have been useful. Next time I'll consider that too!
Wow it is beautiful, I really love the visuals in this and the music great job!
Thanks! I tried to recreate the retro 80s synthwave style in a modern take.
The music was pretty good, the rules are sometimes a bit hard to guess - the last puzzle of Earth specifically. But overall very good game!
Thanks for the feedback! There could have been some text hints in each level, especially the first, where most of the people get stuck. Glad 2 hear you managed to get past the first level!! The key to opening exit doors is the same in each level, after you collected all keys (they fly over to the door area when you collect them)
I like music and atmosphere. The game idea is simple and pretty fun. Overall an okay jam game.
I am super sorry, but I do not like the visuals. There is way too much reflections and too much lighting effects. For me the visuals in this game very messy, and it often makes it difficult to see where I am and what is happening.
Thank you for your honesty! Don't worry, not everybody has to like everything lol. Yes, the reflections and the overall visuals are meant to be confusing, because you're playing as a lost soul stuck in limbo, with little direction left, and have to figure out a way back to life.
That's why it's a puzzle game, where you don't just rush recklessly through the level, instead observe, understand, and align with the pieces of the puzzle, synchronize your movement after you found the direction.
