Absolutely, I might continue this one at some point. Definitely some potential for minigames, finding animals, etc. Thanks!

Thank you! (I almost didn't finish the art, it was a lot of work)

I didn't even think about it being mother's day, what a nice coincidence! Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

very good concept! I think it would benefit from different enemy types so there's more strategy to which ship you go to first, other than just who's closest

very cute and fits the theme well, a little hard to control though. I couldn't unstick one person from Ralph to guide another.

very cool concept, controlling the people was kind of hard to figure out

Hey, to upload a unity build you have to zip the whole folder you get when you build, not just the .exe. Good luck!

second

I had never heard of that mechanic, interesting! Thanks for playing!

Very cool, very stressful. Really interesting mechanic

Very cute, I love the art style and the color palette. I wish the different types of pistons were more distinguishable from each other, I often didn't realize that the one I was clicking on was going to be a long one, so a little more clarity would have been helpful. Very cool though. All my time doing redstone in minecraft really paid off lol.

Very cute, but it got so laggy! Love the art direction and colors and the concept, wish ammo was easier to find so I could play more, and some more variation throughout the level would make the exploration more rewarding.

Very cute! I especially enjoy the sound design. I would suggest changing the menu selection button to something different from the shoot button, because when I died I then immediately started a new game on accident.

My movement works find in the editor (unity) but when I build the game the player is unable to move in either the webgl or windows version. I'm using get.axis, does anyone know how to fix this?

Any suggestions?

Thanks! I hope you like it, it’s my first time making anything like this.

Honestly my eyesight is probably just trash, maybe a brightness slider would have been the way to go so there can still be a challenge but different eyes can have different amounts of help

I’m about to go to sleep but I’ll bookmark your game to play tomorrow!

i made a mystery/puzzle game with three endings. A few people so far have compared it to Papers Please which is kind of what I was going for if that sounds interesting to you

my game is an atmospheric mystery/puzzle and I’d love to see how you react to it

Awesome, thanks!

nice concept! The first suggestion I have though is a different key to switch vision; it's harde to move and switch at onece and I have to keep repositioning my hand.

very cool! it's a little hard to see but i like the concept. Slick menu too btw.

Very cool idea! The controls could use some work, especially picking up keys, but the concept is interesting.

I just went to look at your game and I recognize it from the progress thread; I wanted to play it already so thanks for the easy link!

My game is a mystery/puzzle so if you want to play it don't watch!

Mine was also somewhat inspired by Do it for Me! And, as several people have picked up on, Papers Please but the influence there is a little more obvious. I wanted to do something kind of like that and I’ve never really done a point and click type of game in unity and I wanted to branch out so I thought the style would suit it well, but I also wanted to go a sort of unreliable narrator direction.

It’s a lot more gritty and atmospheric than I usually do so it was a lot of fun to make the art for, but boy was I burnt out by the time I was finishing it up last night.

Here’s mine, it works in browser: https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/475658

My game is an atmospheric puzzle/mystery with three different endings. You can play it in browser or on windows.

It was rough getting all the art done but I think well worth it. You can play it in browser if you want but the video endings weren’t working in that version; they just have still images instead.

Thanks! I would like to expand on it, I couldn’t really get in as much subtlety as I wanted in three levels so I think expanding it would be a great future project. I like the idea of getting the papers off the desk somehow, I did notice it felt  a little cluttered.

my game’s a mystery/puzzle and it works in browser or windows  I was going for a sort of papers please aesthetic if that’s the kind of thing you like

Thanks! That's exactly what I was going for.

thanks! This is great feedback. This was my second time making music so I especially appreciate your thoughts on it and I'm glad you at least like it for the menu. The paper snapping is definitely something I'd work on if I continue this. I was also trying to figure out how to put the one you picked up most recently as the front most object but just couldn't get it working.

I'll try checking out your game when I get home too!
