  • Really well done. Nice art and animation, cool parallax, those menus are top notch and the mood and audio in general is perfect for the game. I like the educational twist and collecting stuff is great + unlocking those irl photos was a nice touch. I'm too dumb to have properly identified those flowers and branches tho haha Solid entry !

This was an excellent experience all around! Great job! I love the art, the relaxing sounds, the interaction with plants. Well done!

Wow, this has blown me away with the art and care gone into this game! Incredible work for such a short time! A great take on “guide”, and the music was audio was just as much as part of the experience. Well done!

Art is very good. It is a very original idea with more work it will be a great game.

This is beautiful! I hope the judges give you the recognition you deserve. I know very little about the fauna of North Carolina, but this is a soothing, fun game.

This has got to be the most beautiful game I've seen so far. I love boardgames like Earth and Wingspan and your game totally hit the mark with me. Excellent use of the theme, I learned a lot of things, and the feeling of trying to catalog every plant on my path based on its characteristics was immensely satisfying.

Hello neighbor! Reporting from Virginia and also making a game about local wildlife, I loved the sketchy art style, the lovely doggo, the sound design, the atmosphere, and the music, exploring the world, and I loved filling out my notebook. The only thing that I would critic is if you don't know what the descriptors mean such as monocot you're gonna get worse scores and there's nowhere in-game to learn about them. Overall I loved it and would play the heck out of a full release.

Nice and relaxing, lovely art style as well.

Really good game artistically, with a great relaxing vibe, really good for a jam submission, and could easily be expanded with mini-games, more areas and lots of things in the future.

Absolutely, I might continue this one at some point. Definitely some potential for minigames, finding animals, etc. Thanks!

What a sweet game!

First impressions were definitely good. The atmosphere of the art style and sounds were very cosy. I was out planting flowers for mothers day today, so this felt very fitting with the mood I was in myself.
I quite enjoyed the walking around and categorizing each plant to the best of my ability. It was very enjoyable to see the photos too!
What really stuck out to me was the obvious care for attention and effort put into the details. Like the sound of completing a plant, and that little "Perfect!" when you got all the details right.
Super sweet game, great work.

I didn't even think about it being mother's day, what a nice coincidence! Thanks for playing!
