Yeah, sadly it's unfinished and no offence taken! We just didn't have enough time between us to get it playable. Thanks for the feedback, and we'll try to work more on it where possible :D

Really appreciate you trying the game out, especially with a friend! Unfortunately, I don't think that any of the logic works actually, at the moment it's kind of just luck if it matches up with the guide. We sadly didn't get time to finish, but all the positive feedback makes us want to actually get it finished now :D Thanks for playing anyway!
It doesn't quite work which probably adds to the confusion, but the idea is that one player will read from the manual and the other will have the game open. The player with the game would describe what they see to their partner, and the player with the manual would then deduce whether or not the item on the screen is "safe to eat" or not! We hope to get it working at some point :D
"Guide" just really reminded me of the bomb game so I wanted to make something like that :D
Thank you for the valuable feedback, the question mark in the main menu was going to lead to a help screen (we didn't get around to implementing it) but I do think a compulsory tutorial showing once would also be beneficial.
I'll take note on your comment about the manual, it will definitely have more sparkle and character in the final product! Thanks for trying our game out <3
Thanks for the in-depth feedback! The plan was to have a game over screen with stats after the end, but unfortunately we never got to that point. Lots of other valuable pointers that we didn't pick up on because it didn't get to a point where we could playtest, but really glad you enjoyed our game! :)
That was really fun to play, love the scared and SLAP animations! Were the levels procedurally generated? That's super cool. Only thing I'd comment on is that maybe there could sometimes be more than 1 viable platform to jump on, especially if there's just a small platform with 1 monster to jump on?
