That's some awesome feedback, thank you really for taking the time.
on 1), yeah definitely agree with you, I started with a physics-based movement thinking it would give me a lot of flexibility, time went by and it became clear a grid-based version of movement is more suitable, and as in every jam I stuck to my  guns cuz there's no time loool, will fix it after the jam.
on 2) yeah the art is a mish-mash, neeeed ... photoshop ... lessons.... asap ...

Again, thanks for playing my submission with attention and taking t he time to give detailed feedback .. really appreciated.

Another excellent take on the theme, Really like the visual style, and the music/sfx (even though they bugged a bit), needs more stuff to explore like the temple to the north, but overall a great submission for jam.

Cool idea, needs a few additions to the gameplay, like a danger of some sort to keep the player on their toes, also I don't know if it bugged only for me but I can go outside map bounds.

Good work and best of luck.

Well implemented game, would've liked to control the character with WASD as well as arrow keys.

Pretty cool art style and music, really liked the presentation here ... the mini game ideas are great but I did not understand how to play them correctly, getting it wrong and right at random, so some work can be done on that aspect.

Regardless, a good submission, keep it up.

I love how the game does not take itself seriously and acts all goofy, especially the intro, needs improvements in terms of gameplay but that's what jams are for, trying stuff and getting feedback.

good job and best of luck.

Really good game artistically, with a great relaxing vibe, really good for a jam submission, and could easily be expanded with mini-games, more areas and lots of things in the future.

Nice little game, liked Ralph's selfless goal, would be great to see levels and different hazards in the future.

Good submission, keep it up.

Extremely good level design, I couldn't finish all the levels but I played through 10 or so, great tuning of the difficulty, and nice graphics, needs some audio and this can easily be upgraded for a mobile release in the future.

Excellent submission.

Really great interpretation of the theme, and very solid implementation without bugs, I got hooked on the puzzles tbh, good job.

Nice game,  got a nice payout of 121 dollars at the end hahahaha.... this could potentially work well on mobile, and you can vary so many aspects like the objects, places, movement.

Very solid.

Good concept, the bullets are very funny in terms of how they follow the cursor, but I felt it was too challenging that my bullets get destroyed at obstacles/cover but enemy bullets don't, it could do with some tuning on that part.

Best of luck.

Fun game overall, liked the types of monsters and its progression.

You're absolutely right, big shame I had no time to implement it, would make life much easier especially on the harder levels.

Thanks a million for dropping by and providing feedback.

Nice puzzle mechanics, really enjoyed it.

Pretty good aesthetics and interpretation of the theme, tried as much as I can like the others but never found the home :(

Good work, got a bit confusing at the third level, but solid start regardless.

Best of luck.

Nice work with the atmosphere and the lights, the player seems to have a box collider that makes its movement bug next to walls, a sphere/circle will be better.

overall a good start to build upon, with music and more elements/enemies it has potential.

Best of luck.

Amazing work on the presentation side of things, awesome art and style, as well as music. The gameplay is good, gets hectic after a while and it does not have an end goal, but it has clear ideas to build upon.

We both have almost the exact same interpretation of the theme, but your implementation was outstanding, bravo.

Great work for a game jam, there is a looot of polish there and multiple mechanics (wind, poison ..etc), nicely done.

This pretty cool in terms of gameplay, loved figuring out the levels, I think restarting with the same blocks after dying helps since usually it's one or two wrong blocks and I had to place all of them again after a mistake, but that's just quality of life stuff, as a submission for a game jam this is pretty good.

The audio is fun and reminds me of Okami and similar games, the controls are pretty difficult though and I could not progress much because of them, I would have loved a regular W/D or arrow to make sliding easier for my brain to implement hhh.

Solid submission overall, best of luck.

Good base that you can build off, the gameplay is more fit for mobile so I could utilize two fingers to control the signs I would say, still fun regardless.

Aside from that, some audio plus a unique artistic style and you may have a very good game on your hands.

Best of luck.

This game was pretty fun, I get overwhelmed pretty fast but I liked the gameplay.

Very solid storytelling, that's what drives the game here. It still needs to somehow better link with the theme and add a bit more gameplay, still very solid though.

I didn't know there were alternate endings till I read the comments, I also got the bad "Hate" ending.

a 1v1 local  game, count me in hahahaha ... but seriously though, the game is super fun.

When I saw the word "Charon" I was like "that is amazing, how di I not think of that", so extremely good interpretation of the theme, also the graphics are excellent for a game jam submission, bravo.

Only thing is the gameplay requires a bit of grinding to progress and that's not everyone's cup of tea nowadays, but I digress and I'm sure for a released game things would be entirely different.

Great job and keep it up.

It's pretty solid game in terms of atmosphere/art, I feel the control scheme of RTS games would suit it even more (click a place and the character moves there).

Best of luck.

A very unique concept which I loved playing, I seriously think it may be easily adapted for mobile and released.

Good submission, the zombies are ultra aggressive but if you persist you get used to their behavior.

Liked the interpretation of the theme, and especially the 8-bit music/sfx.

No need to apologize, on the contrary thanks for giving feedback, I went to try your game but it's almost a 500Mb download :((( , will try it later on a better connection.

Best of luck bro

pretty fun game to play, the aesthetics remind of the old NES classics, and a nice background/story too.

If only we were allowed to hit a few cars before exploding hhhh, regardless a great submission, and if you get the time stop by and rate my game.

Best of luck.

The game is sooo good, it hooked me until I finished, really good job with the content and the stories, and the ambience through the art and music/sfx is great.

Superb submission, bravo!!

Take a look and rate my game if you get the time, cheers.

This is a good submission, especially it terms of ambience and music, the only thing that is missing is a tutorial in-game to clarify how to play/win/lose.

Good job, pass by and rate my game if you get the time.

fun game with good mechanics, but as an improvement I guess it's better to change the relative movement to something that is irrelevant of the aim like bullet hell shooters, my brain was fried trying to move relative to the aim.

The rest is good, nice music and sfx too, pass by and rate my game if you get the time ;).

Here is mine https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-110-sacrifice/rate/1608977 will check the guys' games in here for sure.

The game is really good, I really liked the art/music plus the level design is well thought, a great submission overall, best of luck.

Thanks a million for taking the time to try and give feedback, on easy and medium you play a smaller section of the puzzle and not all of the maze like the hard mode, generally speaking, procedurally generated mazes are a better fit but with the time limitation I decided to go with a hard-coded level split into three sections.

Really great work, definitely enjoyable as a pure game, the concept is well suited to the theme and utilized very well in the level design, no negative to mention except that we'd love to see more levels.

Best of luck.
