  • Simple premise executed well. The puzzle design on most of the levels were good, and figuring out the solution and then having to time your movements was a satisfying loop. With a game this simple I would have liked to have seen a little more attention paid to the visual design. A lot of the graphics seemed placeholder to me, especially the green and purple squares. I also think the character moving towards the box so you have to drag it where you want to go is a little tedious. I feel like it would have been more fun to just be able to click your mouse and the player moves to that point. There were a couple pretty big technical issues. I started out getting all the crowns in the levels but the crowns on levels 7 and 8 seemed impossible to get, like there should have been a reset block behind them and there just wasn't. Also after beating level 8, you're sent back to level 3 and the game just repeats from there so that's as far as I was able to get. For future entries, giving the player a level select would be extremely handy.

Good work on this! I like the visual style a lot, and the music is well suited for your game. The collisions were somewhat tricky, I think you left the default square collision mask on the player instead of refining it a bit, so death is sometimes triggered when the player doesn't visibly overlap a death square.

I had a lot of fun!

The art may be crude, but I have a big soft spot for it. Wish you added some more juice though, like making the guy shake a bit when they walk. Sorry so say there's a pretty major bug, beating level 8 took be back to level 3, so I didn't end up seeing everything in the game.

i felt unmotivated and forgot to fix the bug!!! sorry!!
