- Awesome game ! The art, the animations, those cutscenes, it was superfun and hilarious. Great entry to the jam !
- Extremely solid and fun game. The art, sound effects, and music were all great. The gameplay was fun although some parts were a little unbalanced. The explosive items weren't super useful as more often than not they just killed a bunch of your lumps to kill one enemy so I stopped picking them up after the second one. I think a way to direct the lumps would have also been useful, like how in Pikmin you can put out the little beam that directs them around you. I also It could have added a little more strategy, as right now the main gameplay loop is just siccing them all on an enemy and whatever happens happens. I liked the style of the UI, but it was a little large and enemies at the bottom of the screen would often be hidden by it. Having it move out of the way or become smaller until you moused over it would be a pretty simple fix for this. The boss fight at the end was also really good. I liked how the rocket would target you so you had to move yourself away from the lumps so they wouldn't be damaged, as well as the boss making them sit down so you had to run in and stand them back up. Overall, this was an extremely cool game and with the ideas that are already here I can definitely see the potential for it to be expanded on

This is glorious. I think grenades are overall successful in that they require the player to use them intentionally and carefully, but I wish they felt correct to use a little more often; I just ignored most of them. The activate/deactivate mechanic is neat but doesn't matter much in the moment to moment gameplay. I think the worst thing I can say about the game is that the lump tutorial message in the bottom right of the screen hogs a lot of space. The game is a blast though! 10/10, would consume the flesh of cops again
Thanks, if I ever end up expanding the game I'll keep what you said in mind. The reason why it's so massive in the corner is because it's a remnant of when there were gonna be different lump classes (imagine the picture below but with different lumps). it got scrapped do to scope creep but I never got around to remaking the art. I had a lot of quality of life things I wanted to add but never got to because of time, glad it's still fun though : )

Wow! this game is mind blowing. Definitely 10/10. The story is short and funny, the sounds are great, controls are very smooth, the art is cool and funny too. I really enjoyed the boss fight, great entry!
Great entry! I died at one point and it respawned me with a nice amount of lumps and no progress lost, most jam entries are not that considerate so that's a huge W for you. Fun story and nice gameplay. The sounds sometimes overlapped causing the last sound to cut out, I'm not sure how to fix that in Gdevelop but I just wanted to let you know.
Extremly good game. I like that you can guide your "lumps" to create more of them and stuff xD. The audio is very funny the begining is very funny the sprites are funny... xD My only dislike to this game is that one of my lumps threw a granade and I ended up with one single lump :< xD (also kinda funny tho)
yeah lol, the grenades can be kinda annoying. A good strategy is to make most of your lumps sit down far away so they don't get blown up. Thanks for playing : )

This is game is super cool! I had a really fun time with it, though I found kinda stupid when I lost most of my lumps because I was trying to wake them up when actually they were dead. But that doesn't need fixing I think, you can learn by yourself.
The artstyle is great! Just the city scenery is a bit boring to me, and the fact the whole game is on a straight line, maybe there could be some curves in later levels!
But It's a very impressive project! I'm excited to see what you'll do with it

For a lot of others games I played, I always found something cool, then gave some feedback. BUT I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS GAME! IT'S TOO GOOD!!!!!
The graphics are so cool, and there's actually animation (unlike my game)
There wasn't any bug that I encountered
There's sounds and music that fits
And it's super satisfying watching your lump army attack
You put my game to shame with how good yours is
Really fun game! I like how it didn't take itself too seriously, and it made for a really fun experience. Now a couple points of feedback:
1) I think instead of having to click for every lump that attacks a human, you should be able to click once and have all lumps attack at once. You wouldn't be able to split up the lumps, but I never really felt a need to with this.
2) While I liked the idea of the sfx a lot, they didn't quite hit right for me. Maybe it's a subjective thing, but to me they were a little bit grating and annoying. I still liked the idea of them though, so I didn't mind them too much.
I mean, other than that I got nothing. Art style was cool, gameplay was really fun, the theme was used nicely, and I really enjoyed playing it! When I only have 2 complaints for a game, you know you did a good job. Really good game!

thanks for the feedback, originally I wanted right click to be the "attack all" button, but then it was used for something else and I wanted to keep the controls as simple as possible. I made it so you can hold down on enemies as a compromise. If I ever expand on the game I'll make sure to adjust some sfx lol
This is a great game, really reminds me of Pikmen! I love the art style. I just wish there was a humour category, because this game has it in spades!
