If someone won the prize of the one-year license but they already have a license, does that add one year to the already existing license, or simply give the winner a new license?

For example, my license is valid until October 2024. If I won, would the renewal be pushed to October 2025 or would I get a second license that lasts until only January 2025?

I really loved the game and the story it had, and with some polish this could even be a bigger game, I loved swinging around and making cool trickshots and stuff. This could also be a really good game for speedrunning. Great job!

thanks!

Great game, the art is fantastic too! The only flaw I'd say it has is balancing of some cards, my deck ended up as just "2 step, 0 physical" and "jump 3, lose 2 physical" and it powered through the entire last segment.  Great job though!

Fantastic game, loved every bit of it. My only issue was that it was kinda easy (i finished with 94 seconds left and no powerups used) and that at one point a person got stuck in the hole to the shop, blocking it. Ramming into them a bunch eventually got them in the shop and freed the hole but it took off about 70 seconds of time to fix it.

Great job, though! :)

Great game and art! I got 98% of the data.

Nice game, and the concept was cool. My one issue was that the wall jumping was somewhat finicky and difficult to use.

thanks!

thanks for all the feedback!

1) yeah the boing thing does make sense

2) yeah I probably should've made digs easier to see but I forgot to do that, oops

3) the splitting bug is known and was for a while but I never cared enough to fix it because it isn't really too game-breaking and because it would require me to rewrite the entire "check if no enemies are alive" code

thanks!

Thanks! I'm glad I added the easy mode in last minute, some friends playtested after I submit and none have beaten it so far. Being the dev makes it really hard to judge difficulty because I know the most about the game

I interpreted the "you end with nothing" part of the theme as "your body ends with nothing left", I probably could've followed the theme better but oh well

Thanks!

thanks!

Does that matter or not

i think any color is allowed, but you are just limited to 2 different colors

Most relatable game ever

Fun little puzzle game, but I will say that the music got incredibly annoying very quickly. Other than that it was pretty fun!

(1 edit)

Kanye has been real quiet since this banger dropped

They can actually outrun you, but it only end up happening around the 4min mark on Insane or Champion mode. And I did make the music during the jam, but I used a tool on BandLab called Loopers where you can just sew together pre-made chunks of music.

I did put little dots on it but I guess they're too small, I'll have to go back and add that after that jam.

yeah that was a huge mistake by me. I made the game so that is could also work with touchscreen but that means there isn't a "right click" for mobile. I probably should've done the other way, mapping lock to right click. Oops.

Really great game! I love how frantic it gets and having to multitask so much, great job!

Yeah, I agree with that. I put a button in the bottom to toggle if you want them to follow or stay to help, as a semi-fix.

yeah, that's really the only way to fail a level,  but I can't really fix that since that just comes from player error.

Thanks!

Thank you! Good thing the puzzles ended up good, I was a bit nervous (mostly because I knew everything so it wasn't really a puzzle)

Thanks! Yeah, the big flashlight was a small issue, so I added a tool to help with that. In the bottom left there is a toggle button where you can lock the creatures so they don't move until you unlock them. For more info just go to the how to play section on the title screen.

Nice game, very well polished.

True, didn't think of that. I used the Touch plugin instead of mouse (I use Construct 3) so that the game would work with mobile / touchscreen, but at the cost of no right click.

Ok cool

1) if I used a tool such as BandLab's loopers, which allow you to make your own music for premade chunks, do I have to credit that?

2) I've never published to itch io before, so as a just-in-case, could I also publish to the Construct Arcade (the engine I use is construct 3), it works completely in browser, but idk if that's allowed.
