  • Interesting game. The sound and atmosphere was very good, though it would have been nice if the audio looped a little better; you can hear the hard cut when the ambiance starts over. The art was simple but effective, and I liked the main character's walk animation. The thing that ruined my enjoyment of it a little was the movement speed and time you had to spend cycling through doors to get to the person you needed to. I think a setup like a top down game with a main room with multiple doors might have worked better so if I needed to go to a specific person I could go straight to them. Overall though, very neat and atmospheric game. Keep up the good work!
  • Cool ambience, nice character art, nice animations. I was confused at first since I didnt realize that the "Indonesia" text on the main menu was a language selection, was a bit unexpected since the title of the game is in english, might have been better if there was like a cursor pointing at it or some text directly telling you to select a language, I though it was a bug or something at first and I had to restart. Appart from that... I don't understand what is the game, I walk to the left and see the same 4 characters and the girl in a wheelchair kind of change dialogs, but everybody else just say the same thing, I feel like I'm in a drawn out visual novel more than in a game. I abandoned before the end, I don't want to make a very long walk to the left again just to see the next dialog for the little girl. I don't see how it fits the theme, maybe if I finished the game i don't know. Cool ambience, cool art.

Not sure how this relates to the theme but the pixel art and tone was well done.

Very nice and creepy atmosphere. The sprites look amazing and the ambient is creepy. Is there lore behind these characters? Also do the doors guide you?

Developer

Yes, there's lore behind these characters. just make sure you take their word for it and the rest is your own interpretation.

Interesting game. The art and music definitely set a consistent dark tone, and the story fits in the haunting atmosphere.

A very interesting game!

Very solid storytelling, that's what drives the game here. It still needs to somehow better link with the theme and add a bit more gameplay, still very solid though.

I didn't know there were alternate endings till I read the comments, I also got the bad "Hate" ending.

i agree with the previous comments very nice eerie atmosphere and i also got the bad ending " HAATE HATE HATE " :D

I wish there was a rating for Mood, because this has it in spades! Love the audio with the art and colour scheme. Not sure what was going on, but I liked what I saw.

I think I got bad ending...they hate me :(

This was a neat experience. Very unsettling, but interesting. It's simply going through doors, but I was curious. If you work on this more, I'd like more rooms with more randomized events, but I think you were creating a story here, which is also beautiful.

i don't see how it matches the theme and its also reposted from another jam

The idea is the little girl is guiding the player even if it was unclear. Sorry if this irrelevant to the theme. But, thanks for playing.

And in fact this was made from 6 May to 8 May. At first, I wanted to join Pixel Game Jam as my first game jam, but I was late. I didnt want my work to be in vain and I didnt want to keep the game so I submit the game to this game jam. I just wanna get any feedback. Hope you understand, thanks..

Ight I personally don't like when people repost games from other jams cause I saw it was a submition  for the planet jam aswell. Very nice game tho gotta give it that

Developer

oh okay sorry, my bad.
