The octopus is cute, and the game loop works well. I wasn't sure what purpose upgrading the light had except for making it so you couldn't upgrade the speed of the octopus some levels. Otherwise good game.

- This is a decently fun game with cute art. The strategy of having to balance guiding the octopus and slowing down ships with the light was actually really fun and engaging. Aside from adding more variety in things like enemies, as well as making upgrades feel more impactful, I think another thing that could be changed is the random upgrades. I did find myself getting a little frustrated when multiple times one of my upgrade options was repair village when all my villages were fine. Other than that, great game, if a little simple. I think this has the potential to be expanded into a really cool more full game.
- Cool game ! Getting those ship destroyed by the octopus was very satisfying ! Very good audio in general and cool water effect. My only nitpicking would be that it was frustrating to have your lightbeam reseted far in the bottom right when buying an upgrade.
