WOW that was hard! XD Those controls tripped me up good!
Gotta say I LOVE the opening cut scenes and story, the artwork is really good, and the music was too. Easy to get in rhythm with, even if I kept pushing the wrong buttons.
Awesome entry! :)
I would agree with, that cheat sheet is very helpful. I don't know if it was just my dumb brain or not, but I just couldn't wrap my head around the controls. I think if there the keys were all in a straight line it would be easier. Like 1,2,3,4 or Q,W,E,R. Although I guess this is the whole point of the game, huh? (to be a lie?)
Other than that, I really liked your game. The art is great and I like your story. Music was good.
Nice work.
I've love you hear your thoughts on our game. :)
You are right!
It makes the game easier.
Cool concept.
Incredibly f*cking hard to learn, even with good will.
Ok, that was much harder for me than expected! I love music games but this is completely wrong :D It's really well made. The art, theme, music and everything else just fits perfectly. One of my favourite! Great job!
ugh... I hate music games. But you did a good job tricking me with the controls anyway. Good Job!
Great game! I really like the mechanic, artstyle, and music- it's just about hit everything for me! It has a surprising amount of detail in the gameplay- maybe i'll see if there's anymore extra animations for a 150+ combo lol. I really appreciate how it's in the "very doable if you take the time to learn it" category of difficulty.
EDIT: One more thing- If there's any criticism I'd give, I'd say that the note animations (the text coming up when you hit a note) is a little bit too sluggish compared to the rest of the game. Toning down the fade-in of them a little bit should make hitting notes feel a lot snappier.
Thank you for your feedback and the detailed comment! I will update the game according to your advice after the game jam! Thank you very much!
Rated! I really liked your game! Unique idea!

rated yesterday!
Thank you so much!
Yes baby, I got an A! It's really fun but my brain is smoking... I just couldn't wrap my head around the right arrow key not being the slot on the right. Maybe switching right and down would make it a lot easier, but I love the style as well as the music and everything feels really smooth, good job!
It's really well-made! I like the cut scene and the cute art style. The music is pretty entertaining as well. However, I find it difficult to play due to the controls not arranged based on the music track(just swapping down and right will make it a lot better ;D) Every visual in this game feels clean and complete, so great work on that!
Really nice game. But it's too hard for me.
Liked the audio and art, really good!
Awesome work, I'm impressed by the content and polish for only a week of work :) I like the concept but I find it a bit hard to have fun since you're supposed to completely ignore the keys if you want to have a chance to succeed, instead of having only a few moments where you shouldn't follow the keys. But overall I really like the art, audio and polish of the game great work! ^^
Thank you! I played it many times and now I can successfully ignore the key. But what makes me surprised is that one of my best friends said that he remap the keys using some other apps from arrow keys to DFJK and it's a lot easier!
Yes, actually I think that having the keys we press represent the actual form of where arrows drop to would be better, as he did :)
Wow this game is so polished for only a week's time. The idea is really nice and the graphics and music all worked well together. The UI's also worked really well and I was impressed that there was even a delay option. It might be me, but I'm not sure if the music/sfx sliders worked? I also really liked how the crowd and lights changed as your combo got better. I laughed when the sphinx flew across the screen and missed a beat T T
Thank you! The background animation has 6 level, and it will level up every 10 combo. But it will level down if you got miss, wrong or bad even one note. So if you get 60 combo, you can see the full animation. You can watch my trailer to see the effect of level 3.
The music/SFX slider is to adjust the volume( maybe it's usless here but useful in the future).
Fantastic game!
It was cool. A bit hard to get used to the controls but cool!
Reated a while ago but forgot to comment! Nice game ;/ lights a bit too bright but really fun! Really hard xD
Wow i'm impressed how good of a game you made in 1 week.

Very impressive work!! I had a very similar idea at first for this entry, but i'm sooo glad i went in a different direction cause i could really enjoy your work that way! I LOVED the art style most of all, the transitions between screen, all of it! both thumbs up!
Hi! :D I am soo impressed with your game! Everything you made came together so perfectly! - The music, the design, and the art are fantastic! I had such a great time playing :D Super amazing job!
Thank you!
Wow! This is soo polished. I can't get over great everything looks, feels, and functions. This is top notch. It's certainly the only music game I've seen so far. It's really fun and really cool that you made actual music and mapped out the timing's in each song. So much work went into this! Amazing. A+ You're the second person to earn a PERFECT rating from me :)
