Small but cute game, the animations are clean and charming, those alone keep you engaged for a while. As per mechanics there is not much to it, you charge your shot aim and fire then circle your way back to getting it. Once you play a bit it gets really easy: circle around ignoring fire, line up your shot, throw spear and repeat.

Adherence to the theme, it sure does, it sticks to only one spear and that baby is your only companion.

Originality, not a rare concept i was hoping for a twist that never came but had fun with it nonetheless.

Really clean game, the mechanics work well from the auto pick up to the combos. If you were giving a week on this I know you could add some mad stuff like combo bonuses and all kinds of fun things. Really great game overall well done :)

I liked the gameplay decision of not throwing the spear too far- Because you are vulnerable when you have to go get it!

Dropped health potions is a nice touch. 

I felt frustrated with the skeletons though since they do not give a visual indicator when they are about to fire, but really liked the designs of the other enemies. Nice job :D

Thank you for a comment. Right now I see that skeletons are too strong as a starter enemy. They attack too frequent.

Blasting through the line of enemies feels very nice, and the game itself is pretty addictive, would love to see this project grow!

Loving the art style, loving the different types of enemies. Smooth gameplay. Could do with some sounds and game window could be bigger :P

Thank you. Actually, you can download a stand alone game for PC. Unfortunately, I didn't make game for a HTML5, I decided to make a build just before the ending of the jam,  eventually, you have some problems with the camera. And I paid with sounds when I was testing and polishing the game.

really nice game, but sadly, its so hard to play because of its very little size and also because of this crazy zoomed game view. 

And i got one alert: "unknown instance ID: undefined"- with: life: 1 heart, game just started, bomber-enemies: on exploding (Maybe that helps to fix it)

Thank you for the feedback! The problem is that the html5 build was made by my friend and the game was developed for PC primarily, that's why there is a problem with the zoom. I got these alert too and don't have any clue how to fix it in the future.

I genuinely had fun playing this game - and it matches perfectly to the theme!

I only thing I can complain about is that I wish there were walls and a levels to navigate -  but the game is VERY well made for a game made in 48 hours. You're very talented - the game feels great to play :D

Thank you very much! It was hard enough for me, but I didn't give up! I thought about some additional obstacles, but I don't have enough experience with GameMaker and pathfinding. May be in the future I'll make an arena shooter with more complicated arena. :)

your idea and style are great but execution wise the game is fairly easy, once you realize that the main enemy type aims right for the player its as simple as circle strafing round and round pretty much cheesing the whole game. some randomness in their aim or some kind of movement compensation on their aim would fix this.

Thank you for feedback. I understand this problem. Actually, shamans (green guys) after their cast change their position, also their projectile spawns additional ones. However it's not enough as I understand. Will keep it in mind for the future!

It's well made, but it is kinda just Titan Soul with a horde instead of a single boss.

Very interesting game from RPG Art to game design. Holding LMB and launch the spear idea is impressed me lots. And contains many types of enemies. Also You made very nice scene transition effect. Super like this pixel art game~

Cool small game in the arena bash genre.  The spear feels a littel to weak - the easiest enemies to powerfull and fast. I like the use your weapon and afterwards collect it again mechanic. A little bit like a gladiator. Good starting point for a small game i would say.  Keep it up!! Good job!

Thankyou for the feedback. I understood the problem of the damage and HP balance too late. It would have been better if I had made classic 100 hp for a player character. The problem of the enemies is that there are only 4, and when skeletons were weaker, the game was felt too slow.

Nice little game with simple but yet addictive gameplay) 
I wish player has more posibilities to avoid enemies and projectiles when he's without spear, say rolling or dodging. At present these moments give more frustration than joy. Also spear punch seems inefficient as weakest enemies have 2 hearts. Good luck!
