solid game for just 48 hr!

Developer

Thank you, I did my best!

Very good arcade game, it's fun and challenging hahaha. The art style is neat :D

It could be a bit hard, it needs a bit of balancing, the first enemies move to quick and you are easily swarm by all the other in 30 seconds of play, but overall a really fun and good game. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you, I have plans to rebalance the game in the future.

Great game from what I saw but I'm really bad at it. Great first 15 seconds ^^!

Developer(+1)

I'm happy that you spend good 15 seconds in my game. XD

Submitted

Nah I spent more cause I made multiple tries but I really suck lol ^^

Submitted(+1)

Very nice implementation of a solid idea. Love the art!

Developer

Thank you! The art isn't my, but you can get it here.

Submitted(+1)

Very neat. I like this interpretation of the theme as it encompasses the concept of "normally you have many but now only one" in a perfect fit

Developer

Thanks.

Nice work on this one :). It feels pretty polished and has a good visual style. I would've liked some basic sounds or maybe a bit more screenshake (probably a personal preference, though). Overall I think it's nicely made and a great entry.

Developer

Thank you!

Submitted(+1)

Great game! Only drawback is lacking sounds but i guess it's because you didn't have enough time to do it.

Developer

Yeah, time is money.

The charging mechanic and variety of enemies made a good time! With how small the enemies are, it can be hard to line them up and hit them, especially at a distance. Although, if you're going for a hard, arcade-y game, that makes sense.

Developer

Thank you! I'll think about some udjustments of collision box scale.

Cool game, telekinetic spear making it zigzag or come back like a boomerang would be a nice additional twist to your concept!

Developer

I thought about different types of the weapons, unfortunately, my skills of GameMaker Studio 2 aren't so high. :(

Nice job! Loved the visual style.

Developer(+1)

You can download art here.

This was super challenging but also pretty addictive! Having to charge up the throw each time made things a bit more skill-based, I like it!

Developer

Thank you!

Good game! I liked the idea, and combos were fun to perform!

Developer

Thank you, I'm happy to see that you like combo system.

cool game...awesome art-style...  but am missing dash mechanics... this game badly needs it ..

love it and respect from my end...   rated

Developer

Thank you! I'm going to add dash in the future.

Love the juiciness of attacking the enemies! Been trying with friends and the respond is panic when she lost the spear LOL.

Find it difficult to fight the big monster (the one with 4 HP), since it's too powerful. Is it intended?

Developer

Thank you for playing. The big guy should be dangerous, but now it's overpowered.

Really dynamic ,could be a really good concept for a zelda like game ,who know ?

Well done !

Developer(+1)

Thank you, your game is much better and polished. I like it.

Cool and challenging game. Perfect amount of camera shake and nice art style.

It ends up being more of a bullet hell than a melee/ hack and slash kind of game. I like it.

Here's mine if you can spare some time playing it. Many Thanks:

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback, I'll play your game a little bit later.:)

Submitted(+1)

Really nice one, we did something similar ourselves (https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/462587 if you want to try it out), but your seems a bit more polished and generally has better presentation. Interesting that so similar concepts can actually feel quite different in gameplay though.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, unfortunately, I can't start your game on my PC and I don't know why. If you can provide me help I'll play it. You can DM me on Discord. tricky.fat.cat#8861

Oh, sad to hear that.

You're on Windows, right? Most of our team developed on Linux, with only one guy really working on Windows, so I doubt I can provide meaningful support. I can always send him your way.

Developer

Yes, I use Win10 and there is an Exception Error when I start the game.

This is very challenging, but I like how it handles and the pixel graphics are nice.
Those hearts look very similar to some hearts I made for my other game.
Like barret232hxc said, I didn't know the spear could be charged up at first.

Developer

Thank your for your feedback. Speaking about big hearts, they're a part af a sprite pack which I used for the game.

Pretty cool game, the combos are really satisfying i like that you hade to manually retrieve your spear instead of having a callback mechanic it adds a bit of challenge, quite well balanced also, since there are quite a few potions it would be cool to have the ability to store one or 2 to use when you needed this could be a good middleground between not giving too many potion and not giving enough (cause i feel that reducing the number here wouldn't the best)

Not sure what i could add more well done dude :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, I'll consider to add some heal ability in the new version. :)

Submitted(+1)

That is really fun. I was definitely trying to get further to see what new enemies since they have unique behavior and attacks. I like how tactical you made it by forcing you to go get your spear and power it up. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, I'm happy to read that you enjoyed fighting with enemies.
