Hi my name is Frans and I am an aspiring game developer. I know pixel art and have been working on a game werfast.
This game; minigame i want to create will be a tactical coop defense horror game. with 4-6 players local play which takes place with some kind of zombie/mutant enemies to infest the whole city.
Gameplay:
1-6 players coop defend against horde/wave attacks. each player play as s soldier to arm themselves with different small arms.: assault rifle, pistol, grenade launcher, grenade etc.
In the fight they will also customize themself with different gear like plate carrier to reduce damage.
The team structure
1 Art director and level design
6-10 pixel artist
1 marker
1 programmer.
time frame: 2-3month (can be prolonged)
It will be marketed on steam and each of the team will receive the same amount of share for the profit!
here is my game plan for this project.
My self introduction is long overdue after being a member of this platform since 2020! 🙇♀️
To put it simply: I’m a singer & artist. I create custom VRoid models, song covers, graphics, etc.
Ya girl has been gaming ever since I was a kid growing up on the internet, though PC is my primary medium for multiple reasons.
Nowadays, I also spend a LOT of time running multiple online communities alongside my indie VTuber activities.
Fun fact: I’m specifically trying to release more of my newer P2U products around here & Ko-Fi this year.
My name is Nate Wallace and I am a composer, producer, and instrumentalist with a specialty in video game music. Online I'm also called Alpha Wolf Music, Chef Alpha, and even Music Man by some.
My goal is to be able to create music as a full time career. I have a strong interest in writing music for video games and I've written for a few already. My most significant experience came from Roblox working on a game called Pokemon Brick Bronze. I got this gig the summer before I started college and I had a lot to learn at this point. I'm very happy with how far I've come as a composer and I'm eager to find more work in a wide variety of genres.
I have many interest outside of music such as video games (duh right?), American football, cooking, and reading. I'm quite the extrovert IRL, but I've struggled to bring that same energy online. That's why I've recently made stronger efforts to connect with people on Discord, Bluesky, and now here on Itch. I'm particularly interested in connecting with other indie devs for 2 reasons. The first one is that it'll likely lead me to more composition work. But the second one is that I truly want to be able to support these smaller developers and spread the word on their games.
I do music production streams on Twitch every week, and I've expressed the desire to expand my stream topics. One thing I'm VERY interested in doing is gaming, but specifically Indie games. I won't go too deep into that at the risk of making this intro way longer than it needs to be. With that said, I think I'll leave it here. It excites me that there seems to be a strong community here on Itch, seeing as this thread is 9+ years old and people are still posting on it. Hopefully I get to work with many of the devs here, or at the very least play your games.
I appreciate anyone who took the time to read this and I wish nothing but the best for every creator!
Hi Everyone, here's my little story.
For nearly 20 years, I worked as a software programmer, building systems, solving problems, and honing my craft. I'm a gamer just like all of you. I am also a self-taught graphic artist. For so long, I have enjoyed games from behind the gamepad. But deep down, I always carried a dream to create video games. Life, however, has a way of pulling us in different directions, and that passion sat quietly on the backburner.
Everything changed last September when I lost my job due to health issues. Shortly after, I received a diagnosis that turned my world upside down: lymphocytic leukemia, a type of cancer. Battling cancer and facing an uncertain future was daunting, but it also gave me time to reflect on what truly mattered to me. I decided to embark on this journey to be a gamedev. If not now, when?
In december, while undergoing treatments, I found a spark of hope in an unexpected place: the AI revolution. Advances in technology were making game development tools, assets, and resources—such as art and music—more accessible than ever. Making games alone once seemed an insurmountable task, it now felt within reach. I know that AI is not popular in some gamedev communities. But as small gamedevs, it gives us an edge against big AAA studios. So I advocate the open use of AI: if you use it, tell the public how you used it and let them decide if they want your game or not.
Rotem, my first game, was born. It is a relatively simple tile puzzle game for Casual gamer and puzzle enthusiasts. It has 3 types of puzzles with different different difficulty settings. It's development phase is done. I am making an official launch on Steam, Epic Games Store and Itch.io on march 1st. I am pretty excited about it. I have slowly started my next project, a deckbuilder RPG based on tarot cards. This will be much more for the hardcore gamer.
I hope to continue growing as a game developer. I’m fighting cancer, but I’m also fighting for my dream, and with the support of the gaming community, I hope this is only the beginning of something great.
After years of dreaming about creating games, I've finally taken the plunge into the world of novel visuals for adults.
As an artist who loves to explore the depths of human emotions and relationships through my illustrations, I couldn't be more excited to bring this passion to life in a new medium. 🌟✨
My journey into game development may be just beginning, but I'm committed to creating engaging stories that will captivate your imagination and leave you wanting more.
I look forward to sharing my progress with you and hearing your thoughts along the way. Here's to many more adventures together! 💖

Hi guys!
My name is Addison, I'm a 36 year old working food service full-time salaried, and recently found a deep interest in game designing in the RPG genre and just looking for my right path at the moment. I've never had a good imagination or haven't been good at art or anything like that, but, I'm definitely willing to try and learn now and hopefully someday, I can start making a portfolio and build upon that and see what happens from there!
I've never used itch.io for the 5 something years I've had this account, but that's going to change now since I've bought a couple bundles from mostly ELV Games.
I'm dedicated and I might be lost in what I'm doing but I'll get there soon! I do have a couple of RPG Makers I haven't used in forever and might have to buy some new latest RPG Makers, or try for Godot. I will make my 2D Dragon Fantasy RPG game come true someday. I have a really big love for Dragons.
If you'd like to help out a newbie like me, just chat about designing and share tips along the way, etc. with me, while watching me grow on this journey, give me a shout!
Hi! I'm Brigadeiro, I'm a beginner dev makes games in Construct. I could consider myself creative, since I generally try to make my games as creative as possible, I always grab a cliché concept and turn it upside-down into something completely new.
You can probably recognize my games from a mile away, they all have a similar MS Paint-ish hand-drawn artstyle with colored outlines. I make games of the most varied types, one day, I'm making a cloud-watching Where's Waldo game, the other, I'm making a quiz game with multiple endings and dialogue.
I really enjoy participating in game jams, it's barely been two months and I've been to four different jams, all these jam games are sort of my higher-effort games, since they will be ones people will see the most, but also because their unique concepts make me wanna make them be INCREDIBLE! I mostly do everything on my games, art, music, concepts, gameplay. Sometimes, a friend helps me in coding, but it's not always.
Recently, I've been working on a life simulator sandbox called Bols, where you have a bunch of silly little guys that eat, drink, mate, sleep, sneeze, hunt, hide, fly, and die. Here's the link if y'all wanna play: https://nightfoxy25-animations.itch.io/bols
Hello everyone! I'm a sophomore game developer who has poured my heart into creating a first-person 3D adventure game with psychological horror elements using Unreal Engine. This project is a labor of love that blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and immersive storytelling into one unique experience. Attached below are some screenshots from the game - I would be truly grateful if you could take a moment to check them out and support an aspiring creator's journey. Every bit of encouragement helps fuel my passion for game development!MY GMAE called "To find her" in steam
Hi! Motion Cache is a small aspiring team. We are focusing on all things related to motion(animation). We want Motion Cache to be our outlet for all things related to animation. We create animated assets for social media, animated emotes, bizarre animated shorts, and now we are working on learning to make video games. Currently we create animated emotes for twitch and discord on Etsy. We also have released an animated short called The Toe. But we'd really love to dive deep into game dev. This medium is amazing for storytelling and that is our true passion.
My day job is motion design in the advertising world. Our other team member is a graphic designer in advertising as well. But we are trying to break free from that world and get back to our roots and remember why we pursued animation and design in the first place. For us, that reason is to share stories that might resonate with others.
I am the animator, and aspiring developer. We've been documenting our journey learning game development and exploring this amazing medium. We have a heavy interest in narrative-driven games that balance story with great gameplay. If you are interested in our journey you can find our social media links on our page or find us @MotionCache on YT, Instagram, and X.
The video above focuses on where I started and how I ended up trying to learn game development. It touches on some personal moments in my life to help you to get to know me. For future videos it will be less serious and more fun. We'd love to hear what you think and if you have any advice. New video will be out next month.
Hey everyone, I'm Brian, a long-time tabletop gamer who has recently gotten into writing games. Love lots of especially wild west, weird west, historical period, grimdark fantasy, horror, and dystopian stuff. Recently published a wild west one-shot called The Reckoning here on itch. I'm also a print maker and do a lot of block print art.
I don't have any social media except Substack, but I do publish lots of free articles, actual play write-ups, oracles, and game design ideas on there. Check it out if you're interested! Thanks!

Hi, I'm the LowKeyDev and for anyone reading this, I make games with UPBGE. A bit older, but it works.
I've developed a 3D reboot of the arcade classic Pong, as well as a game of my own devising that I call Splat. Imagine Smash Bros but both players are goombas.
Anyone interested in a subscribe plug on my project page feel free to record and post a video of one of these games.
Hi, I'm the Tajammal Maqbool and for anyone reading this, I develop games with JavaScript, Phaser3 and Unity. I made many games and have 4+ years of experience in it. If you are interested in website games then you can look at my profile and website:

Hello, my name is monicor is 23tovarm, and I have for the past three months began learning Python and SQL coding for work, which spiraled into a crack at video game designing with my favorite topic: ECONOMICS and GRAPHS. Just recently posted my dev log of my passion project in the works, and I'm just so happy to have discovered this platform!
Hi Itch.io I'm Not Drago, im currently making easy to use discord bot templates that work out of the box and can be easily added on to and edited. I'm completely new to itch and am hoping to find great connections and people who like my work and benefit from it. I hope everyone's having a fantastic day.
I’m RetroCoder and I’m an indie game developer.
I create my games in pure JavaScript without any game engines. I take part in the GMTK Game Jam every year which is a great challenge for me. I will be taking part in the Gamedevjs Jam this year which is all JavaScript based, so right up my alley.
I post updates on Instagram with my games and any jams I take part in. I am beginning to work on a large game project which will take a long time to complete but I will be posting more about that nearer the time.
Please check out my games and feel free to leave any feedback as that would be appreciated!
Hello, welcome to Itch, the best place to get notice when you finish your game for me is Release announcement: https://itch.io/board/10022/release-announcements
devlogs are also helpful!
Hi! I’m Cedar, or Critter, and I’m only just starting with video game development, mostly via game jams. I love sci-fi, fantasy, and interesting worldbuilding — especially anything that considers nonhuman cultures and/or unusual creatures. I also enjoy TTRPGs and random tables. Feel free to reply to show me things you’ve made!
Hello folks! I've been here for a while, but I never introduced myself properly. Why not give it a try now?
My name is Doksa, and I'm primarily a writer, but I dabble in programming and game design as well! I make story-based games, mainly visual novels and interactive fiction. I'm working on like five projects at a time (I really need more sleep), however my main right now is an unpublished otome visual novel called Bounty or Booty for the Otome Jam 2025! It's a silly little game where you date pirates! Have a picture of the love interests as drawn by the artist (tomotoad) and edited by me:
I'm down to be mutuals if anyone wants to follow! Mwah!
Hi! I'm Tenkarider, i joined a bunch of time ago but never really used itch so far...
In the latest years i developed several games and horror audiogames released on Steam, mainly as Game Designer, but also as programmer and other minor roles like sound design, etc.
I'm planning to bring some of those games on itch.io as well, i hope to gather some feedback about them when the time will come, so stay tuned!
Hello!
i'm melo and i just made this account
i love music and i make songs.. i also play piano and guitar and im aiming to go to music college as an opera singer :3
all this music thing basically started from the undertale soundtrack.. i became so obsessed that i searched on google how the music was made and this youtube video showed up where someone recreated some of the songs. that's when i started making my own songs, first videogame music and now i make normal instrumental music, different genres from classical to electronic
one of my dreams is hearing my songs in a game, so that's why i made this account. im not really after money, this is just something i'd love to do. playing a game while i hear my songs is rewarding enough :)
that's it i guess, take care everyone!
oh ok :) I am caius and i really want to be a game dev. And soon my first game called cook it dont burn it is realeasing on may 1st. Its about the player getting a job at a restaurant at a place called yum!. But there is a dark secret in it. Also there is a secret google drive you can find in game. And it has as matpat said multiple times LOOOORRRREEE. Heres the link to it https://caius27.itch.io/cook-it-dont-burn-it-demo
Anyways so yeah thats it bye have a good day
That’s probably because it hasn’t been (re-)indexed yet! See here: https://itch.io/t/4120453/game-quarantined-search-or-indexing-problem-read-this
I'm AideedGameZ. I made game and I also the creator of GGProz, which I'm planning to make a game production. Well, not official tho. I love develop a game, especially I have experience a quite in Unity3D and Blender3D, yet I'm still learning. This is the game that I am proudly would like to introduce to you guys, https://aideedgamez.itch.io/ikan-bakar-seafood-cafe
Try it out, no download needed. If you have any idea, let it out. I'm open to improve
Hi Aideed,
I have tried your game seafood cafe and saw your channel. My take on 3D games is to import from 3D asset stores to have a more polished look. Otherwise I can guess you've built the whole small town yourself in Unity and Blender. Right now, the interaction is mostly in the cafe. I would add interaction in the town too, it seem like a chill place. Just my own 2 cents.
BTW, your Tsunami simulator seem fun.
Wastelads, Hoverbike and Plasma Shotgun - incremental scrolling shooter I’m working on

I’m indie hobby solo developer. I’ve long wanted to try making a quick game with rich backgrounds and character outlines. And this is the game I got.
I am indie developer and I made this:

Hey all — I'm Nathan, and I recently launched a small studio/brand called AI Vibe Forge where I explore "vibe coding" — basically building fast, in flow, with AI assistance.
My first public project is a Stock Market Simulator — I built the initial playable demo in just 2 days using Godot 4.4 and a bit of AI-powered momentum. The demo’s up now on Itch if you want to try it: 🔗 Play the Demo Here
Outside of game dev, I’m into writing, design, and tools that help creators break through the “stuck” feeling. Vibe coding is kind of my way to blend all that.
Looking forward to checking out some of your projects too!
Hi, I'm Karel! From Czechia.
I do QA-Quality assurance testing for living.
My biggest hobby is making videogames and I'm currently working on Balladrion, a rogue-lite RPG with a light narrative focus.
I've been developing the game solo in my spare time for the past 6 months—and there's still at least another 6 (or more!) to go.
Your feedback and support mean a lot as the world of Balladrion continues to grow. https://marionettecz.itch.io/balladrion or https://store.steampowered.com/app/3756740/Balladrion/

Hey there! I've been here for a while, but I haven't had a chance to say hello yet. I'm Marek, I'm a composer and sound designer from Warsaw, Poland. My favorite game genre is RTS, so I'd love to talk to anyone who has something interesting to say about it :)
Check out my music and sound design here.
Hi everyone ! My name's Yoga from Indonesia. I'm a UX Specialist (Designer/Researcher/Copywriter) by trade; however by passion I'm an English -> Indonesian translator for 2 decades, and a game localizer for just above a year.
I've been a silent lurker here for a while ever since the hype of indie gaming is growing rapidly, and with that same passion in gaming, I’m trying to start a new EN-ID localization business focused on helping indie games reach a massive Indonesian gaming audience—and I’m currently offering indie game developers free localization for up to 1,500 words of in-game text (dialogue, UI, menus, etc.). and/or any marketing/promotion material for indie games.
My major public portfolio is the entire Counter-Strike 2 game in Indonesian, or you can click here for a direct sample
But why am I doing this, you ask? I’m just getting started and want to build real case studies—not just theory. But most importantly, I care about this just as much as you all here care for your games.
So whether you're still building the game or finished your first build, I'm open to any and all exciting collaborations! DM me or comment below with your game link or a short blurb. Or I'm also down to have a chat!
Let’s all create something hebat ('awesome' in Indonesian)!
Yours truly,,
Yoga

Hey everyone! I'm Els from Hawaii, aka WaveCoder. Because two of my biggest passions are surfing and game development.
I got into Unity and Blender back in 2021, but things really clicked about three years ago when I started pouring serious time into learning the craft. Since then, I’ve been building a tactical RPG called The Uprising, learning everything from scratch along the way.
I’ve just released a demo to get feedback, sharpen the blade, and keep leveling up as a solo dev. It's been a long road already—but hey, the dream is to finish this thing before the decade's over, right? ;)
If you get a chance to check out the demo, I’d love to hear your thoughts: The Uprising (Demo) by WaveCoder
Thanks! :)
Hey all, I am Andrei from Romania. I am very new to gamedev and programming in general but I am trying to learn as much I can in my free time and also have fun with it. I worked a bit in Unity before they decided to discombobulate their entire community with those fees, nowadays I work mainly in Godot with C#. I am still in school so I don’t have a lot of free time but I try to sharpen my skills as often as I can.
So far I have only finished one project that isn’t all that impressive but I am proud of it because this field of work ain’t easy and it took a while to finish it.
Hey, I am completely new here . I was trying to develop a game trailer for game design document , skilled team members , investors etc... and ended up here . I am also learning Unity from a friend I met on Discord. Also looking for a company who could train me on few of game development software while building my game. I know how crack the market. So basically I am confident and I am making work.
That's me !
Hello everyone my name is Carlos, I have picked up game developing as a hobby. My experience with game developing is about a year and half where I placed 4th at a compeitiotn called Skills USA on the state level. It would great to me if yall checked out my new project which I do not have a name but its called Project A
🎮 Hi! I’m Jeanne — or Hitomi, based in the Netherlands.
I used to work in plant science and research, but now I’ve ventured into indie game development, espacially art! 🌱🎨
I’ve joined two small solitaire game projects where I did the art. Both of our projects are free to play — we’d love your feedback! ANY feedback! \QuQ/
Try the recent one here: Jellitaire ★ Transpose
I love adding a bit of chaos to the gameplay — guess that’s where the fun begins, right? Currently, my teammate and I are exploring roguelike and card-based mechanics for the next Jellitaire project.
If you like this idea as well, welcome to leave any comments!!!

My name is Mitch, I used to do a lot of mod's for the game Wolf:ET, from flower mines, to halloween pumpkin head's, the chicken grenades and over sized binoculars I think, mostly graphic mod's, but I did develop a scriptable way for the game to play ctf, plus a range of simpler mod's for lower-poly grass, and roaches that scurry around.
I work mostly with free programs like Blender3D, GIMP and GoldWave for audio production.
I am Canadian, and I named my game company "Two Turkey Neck Games" because I prepare the roasted Turkey twice a year, at Canadian ThanksGiving and also at ChristMas. Well, at one thanksgiving, I yanked from the turkey the bag of giblet's, but was surprised to find two turkey necks also..
I am pushing 60 year's old, But I still have thing's to contribute to the game scene.
I work now with Unity for my game engine, and am hopefully will provide a game I got renewed on from some old developments... I wish I could show a video...
Maybe I might...
I did create this https://twoturkeyneckgames.itch.io/melonquest
but that for some reason was always my focus, to re-create other game's to try and learn how the Unity game engine worked. I am prety shure most people do this, re-create pacman, galaxian, space invader's just to learn the in's and out's.
I am working on my own game now. Hopefully I can post some progress on it soon.
Hey! I am PK a pianist/composer/producer based in Cologne, Germany!

Hey guys! I'm BlueberriesAreAwesome (cuz they are) and in my free time, I like playing basketball, producing trap/video game music, drawing really weird things, and currently working on my pixel indie rpg project called Zuru, which is going to be a coming-of-age story and incorporate Origami.
I'm also a huge fan of pixel games, like Omori, Undertale, Deltarune, Oneshot, Pokemon, Stardew Valley, and of course, Minecraft!
I'm looking forward to meeting new people and working on my project. I'm also interested in composing music tracks for other video game projects, so reach out if you're interested in a sample of my music.
That's all for now. Bye friends!
Hi, let me introduce myself. My name is Nazwa.
Sorry if this conversation is a bit strange because I’m using a translator. I’m a web developer who loves exploring and improving applications. I enjoy creating tools for your needs. As you know, I publish two applications here: Bejana and Earl. Nice to meet you!
Hey, im a long time game dev, writer, and many more, im getting my roots out after all the BS i was put through, so if your here to make games and have fun, or backrooms, i do that too, look me up on here, twitter, deviantart or my linktree by my same name, i look for people who are willing to put time and know that do what you love and the money will come, however bashedly the video game world harps on that in their old ass ways, i didn't set that in motion back when i aided in capping video games at sixty dollars...

Hi, I’m NM84. I dislike censorship.
Hello,
I am Chefwist. I create my games in java using swing, and Godot! My latest game I created is Flappy Bird Clone 2!
Hey everyone! Just another creative soul making weird games and looking for community.
I'm Clayton — aspiring game and AI dev, lifelong storyteller, and the brain behind PrettyNerdee, the delightful dual output I've developed. (Lucky me gets to be neurodivergent, with bipolar traits)
I'm currently working on a few projects, (Unsurprisingly) ranging from a narrative-driven mental health game in Godot to a full-on ARPG in Unreal Engine with a chaos-faction combat system. Bit of a mad mix, but that’s how I like it. I've been building these things in my head for years, finally got to building them!
I joined Itch because I wanted to get more involved in the indie scene — not just posting my own stuff, but actually meeting people, learning from others, and maybe even collaborating down the line. I’m always up for chatting design, dev struggles, weird mechanics, or just hanging out.
I'm vibe coding at the moment while i try to self teach. though it does reduce the strain of having so much on at once.
Would i love to reduce my workload? Absolutely!
Would I simply replace the shelved projects with another? Also..... absolutely....
So, what are you working on? Got something weird? Thought-provoking? Unfinished and held together with duct tape? I’m all in.
Let’s be pals 👾
Hi, i am not new on the site, but i don't really talk on the community at all.
I am just a NSFW aggregator that test games out and give my viewpoint and score of the games to help others find what they want or if they should even waste their time playing said game at all.
I obviously advocate for any fictional content that do not cause direct harm to any individuo to not be forbidden. (That means a game, video, image or audio that will cause imminent threat to the life of someone, not a group of people or criticism, or parody)
(If anyone knows, how do i send anyone a DM or PM, would you DM me with the answer? Thanks)
Hi everyone!
I'm Tom, I'm new here and having fun tinkering away with physical table top games!
This seems like a great place to get your creations to like minded people and I'm looking forward to me and my games existing here. If you like skirmish level table top miniatures games, please check out my feed!
More than happy to talk table top and game creation with anyone!
Cheers.
Hi, I go by the name Axoken, I made some small projects in the past and post them on playstore, but now I'm already working on something for pc, and I joined the platform as soon as I heard about the ban of Visa and Mastercard on games, because my game will have adult content. Is not one of those games that is just clicking around, is going to be a 3D game happening in a small town. My game will not have children or ra**, part of the actions that the game will have is hooking with adults and having sex.
And I need to ask since i'm midway the game. Should I stop developing this game and start with another one? Will I be able to sell it here?
I would like to know your opinions on this matter. Thanks
Hello all. I'm Ekluya (a pen name).
I am a hobbyist writer and gamer, and currently trying my hand at making a visual novel, The Mask of Eve. It's my profile and you can check it out if you like.
I've been a casual user of itch.io for a while now, and looking to be part of the indie game dev community.
Hello! I’m a newish game development enthusiast who recently joined itch and participated in a game jam which was fun!
I’m trying to make myself and my page known and was told to participate more in the forum…so yea hi!
about my background:
I have an honours degree in physics and a masters in computer science! During my masters I took, for the first time, introductions to game development which I loved. I started loving making games (mostly with pygame and raylib) and quite recently joined itch.io! I participated in my first game jam last week which was so fun!
I want to make myself known and improve my game making skills! Please check out my page and if you can, free to give me suggestions on how to improve myself! Looking forward!

I am Abu Bakr Saheb, or as I like to be called "ABOGAMER"
I founded a group of studios """groups"""" called "RoboFoxStudios" and divided into three other studios 👋🎮✅
- Honestly, I liked the idea of introducing myself ❤️🔥🥰
As for me: I am just an independent game developer who loves working on simple games or story modes in the 2d Pixel Art style, and one of these games that stands out is "Retro Liser". [https://robofox-studios.itch.io/retro-liser-new-update]
A message to the author of the post 🎶💌: Never despair ⚡✅, as long as you are doing what you love, never give up, and do not care about negative criticism 😉,
Stay happy 💌❤️🔥👋🎮
Hello! 👋
I'm Amelia, a digital artist based in New Zealand. I mainly focus on anime style / character design / portraits / fantasy art just write your style, but I love experimenting with different styles too.
I've recently opened commissions and would love to connect with people who enjoy art or are looking for custom pieces. Whether it’s for a personal project, a character, or just something fun, I’d be happy to collaborate. 🖌️
Hello! I am PuppeteerOfFear, a new gamedev who just recently uploaded my first-ever game! It's just a free DEMO for now, but if anyone would like to try it, it's right here! Oh, and no generative AI was used during the development of this game! All art is by me and a friend!

Follow Proto Agonis, a 20-something guy looking for work in a new city! He finds what he's looking for at the Four Horsemen Company, only to find out that he's effectively become pest control for supernatural monsters, all of which are deadly, and even worse, physical manifestations of humanity's fears, insecurities, and sins!
Recording, streaming, and otherwise is perfectly okay!
Hi everyone 👋
I’m Pixacert, a pixel artist and indie creator who loves making game assets and creative packs for developers and designers. 🎨
Currently, I’m working on the Mega Pixel Keyboard Set, a big project that brings pixel-perfect keyboard keys in multiple styles (Classic, Arcade, and Hologram). The Classic Style pack is already finished, while the other styles will be released soon as part of a pre-order package.
Besides keyboards, I’m also experimenting with cursor packs, emoji sets, and other pixel collections that I plan to release as “Mega Packs” for the community.
I joined this forum to connect with other creators, share my projects, get feedback, and maybe collaborate with people who love pixel art as much as I do. 🚀
Looking forward to meeting you all and learning from this community! 🙌
Hi! I'm xXx~Ice_Drake~xXx but you can just call me Drake. (I'd rather not reveal my real name) I like to play Warriors-related games (or basically any popular fandom like Harry Potter, LoTR/tHob, or Wings of Fire. I am a pretty weird person so you don't need to be cautious when you talk to me because I am willing to talk about basically anything (lol). I also have some pretty weird friends who consist of (but are not limited to) : 1 furry, 4 cosplay nerds (including me), 1 part-time Minecrafter, 1 pilot, and a Barbie doll collector. My pronouns are she/her and I can't think of anything else to write so that is all for now.

Hi guys - I'm Jade Dragon and originally joined Itch to release the ebooks I've written. I like the indie feel of the site and the way it allows me to engage with a new audience (outside of the usual social media sites). I have branched out into creating text based CYOA style games on Twine recently though and have launched one called 'Play It Your Way - The Manager, Angry Edition' here a bit ago. I loved making this game so plan to create a few more to launch on Itch when I get time.
I'm X, a passionate game artist and the founder of -X-ScornGames, an independent game development studio carving its own path in the industry.
What sets my journey apart is that I navigate the complex world of game development while managing both Tourette Syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This unique perspective doesn't just challenge me, it infuses my creative process with distinctive insights and unconventional approaches that shape everything I create at -X-ScornGames.
I founded Bundles Ultimate with the vision of creating my own bundle community and to my delight, many indie developers quickly joined in. Why?
Because Bundles Ultimate proudly offers a fair platform for indie developers who want to promote and sell their work more effectively and easily. With each Ultimate Bundle, developers benefit from an equal revenue split, a friendly and supportive community, and most importantly, a diplomatic and respectful environment for making decisions and interacting with others.

Hi everyone, I’m Celso Jr!
I come from a web development background, but lately I’ve been diving deep into game development. I prefer building things from the ground up instead of relying heavily on engines—there’s something really fun about having full control over the code and graphics.
Right now, I’m experimenting with different graphics APIs like OpenGL, and I enjoy pushing myself to explore a variety of styles—whether it’s pixel-perfect 2D, 2.5D, or full 3D. What excites me most are great visuals and clever, modern gameplay ideas.
I recently published my very first experimental project here on itch: https://celsojrfull.itch.io/minesweeper-tui
If you’re into low-level programming, you might also enjoy my blog series about Memory Regions in C: https://www.celsojr.com/post/memory-regions
I’d love to connect with others who share an interest in exploring game development at this level. Feel free to reach out to me on my socials—I’m always happy to chat.
Happy gaming, and see you around!
Hello Everyone, I am banana mugger.
I come from a background of mugging people of their potassium rich fruits. I have no experience programming or anything too fancy. Out of boredom with my profession I decide to pick up game development with zero knowledge in programming. Thus for the last two weeks I spent banging metaphoric rocks together to try to develop a Unreal horror game set in the SCP universe as a field agent for MTF MU-13. Frankly I bit impressed of what I developed by trial and error that I wanted to introduce myself as I have enough confidence to share info on my game. I look forward with interacting with you all!

Hi everyone 👋
I’m James (aka BeCool3000), an indie dev from Boise, Idaho. I’ve been working on BeeCool
a GPU-driven bee colony simulation where you interact with thousands of bees buzzing around a dynamic hex-grid world.
I recently published it here on itch.io and I’m excited to keep building and sharing updates.
Outside of BeeCool, I love experimenting with Unity, shaders, and procedural systems. For my next game, I want to try hand-drawing all the tiles, so I’m working on a Pixelorama workflow to import sprites and use them in procedural instanced hex-grid art.
I also write and record music—my latest album is Foothills at Dawn
—and sometimes it makes its way into my game projects(but not yet haha).
I’m here to connect with other creators, learn from you all, and share what I’m working on.
Looking forward to being part of the community!
— James
Hello, everyone! My name's Sam and I'm in 7th grade and new to this whole thing. I've been learning to code since I was 5 and have been making and posting video games on Microstudio up until now. I'm currently working on a game named SPACE QUEST R. Which is a game based on a game similar called space quest that I made in 6th grade. Best of luck to everyone! That's all for me.
Hi there, I don't know if I ever introduced myself here, I'd created my itchio account like 2 years or 3 ago, but I have never posted or anything. It's time a do use it the right way. My name is FlaminDog, Spanish, Senior Graphic Designer & Web Dev in real life, doing a videogame in my spare time. I love the 2D. I'm not here for self promotiing a game (yet), here to make friends or having a good time in the forums. Looking forward to be part of the community :)
Hi everyone! I'm a multi-instrumentalist and designer with a passion for the old school! And when I say that I mean old school rts, fps, and rpg games. I pretty much was raised on high fantasy and gothic literature and from a very young age I was constantly creating my own worlds and "fake game guides". I never fully had the talent to sit down and program an entire game from scratch unfortunately but I'm beyond stoked to have found a community where I feel like my creativity can flourish. I've been a musician for the better part of my teenage through adult life and have released a lot of material in the sphere of extreme metal music. But my real passion lies in the creation of dark ambient and drone to create atmospheres of pure dread. Looking forward to working with you all!
hi my nickname is mhb and i really love to make games . but the main problem for me was my school . since i graduated this year i finally made my first game and yesterday i published it on itch io . my problem for now is the price . because i really love to make money by myself from making games . but the thing is that i think my game is not that worthy . but still i published it here on itch io with a very very low price and yea my game name is COLORFUL CHAOS if you want to check it out :)

Hello, i am a new member which is looking for devs willing to join on my project called "shoot me maybe" - a game where the goal is not to kill... but to die in style!
I am a 45 yrs old guy which has a passion for games and an unusual skillset, which unfortunately does not include programming (yet).
I hope to find some committed people which believes this can be the next big thing in multiplayer gaming! Let's go!

Hey all! I am a VFX artist, and in my free time i have been trying to learn how to make this space game from scratch (some what). i have worked at both small and big studios over the years, and i just really love making games. I finally have a bit of free time lately, so i have been diving into game dev on my own... and yeah... wow, it’s a lot more to learn than i expected. (i am not that great at kitbachin online tutorials for blue prints to get the end result that i need)
artstation: https://www.artstation.com/desertroze
so i am here for a bit of adventure and trade! i can help out with art if you can help me with some programming in UE5.
I mainly do VFX, but i can also do some environment art, concepts, texturing, 3D modeling, and level layout.
let’s have some fun and make cool stuff together!
