Hello!
I am very glad that you liked the game! Unfortunately, there are no plans to add more languages for now. If that ever changes, I'll be sure to reach out to you! Thanks for offering your help!
Hello folks! I've been here for a while, but I never introduced myself properly. Why not give it a try now?
My name is Doksa, and I'm primarily a writer, but I dabble in programming and game design as well! I make story-based games, mainly visual novels and interactive fiction. I'm working on like five projects at a time (I really need more sleep), however my main right now is an unpublished otome visual novel called Bounty or Booty for the Otome Jam 2025! It's a silly little game where you date pirates! Have a picture of the love interests as drawn by the artist (tomotoad) and edited by me:
I'm down to be mutuals if anyone wants to follow! Mwah!
Hello! I am the developer of Our Neverland, a BL visual novel about a gay club in Texas. The game is already released as a WiP project, and the writing and narrative are mostly done. Here is the game's page.
As some can probably tell already, the game uses default Visual Novel Maker backgrounds. I am interested in updating the game with new custom assets. If you want to join a project but are worried that you won't be able to make the deadline – this is the project for you. I do not require the BGs to be done before the jam ends! :)
Currently, the game uses 7 backgrounds, but it can most likely be cut down to a few less should the need arise.
What I've linked is the whole game, meaning there won't be any content updates other than replacing the assets with custom-made ones.
If you're interested, please add me on Discord, stardustsailor is my nickname :)
Hello! I'm Doksa, developer of Our Neverland – a BL visual novel about a gay club in Texas. The visual novel is already published as a WiP for the NaNoRenO 2025 game jam, and can be played here. The writing part is finished, and right now, I want to replace the assets that are currently either built-in Visual Novel Maker or ones I got from the internet. I already have a character artist and a composer, so the backgrounds are what's left!
Right now, the game uses 7 backgrounds, which can probably be cut down to a few less should the need arise. I am interested in replacing all of them eventually. Since this is unpaid, there will be no deadlines.
If you're interested in expanding your portfolio as a background artist, please hit me up on Discord! My nickname is stardustsailor :)
Hello y'all! I'm a writer with around one year of experience writing for games, and nine years writing overall. I also dabble in game design! Here is a short little sample of my writing (a few minutes long), and here is a longer one (around 30 to 40 minutes long).
I can do stuff like scriptwriting, worldbuilding, coming up with flavor text, writing journal entries, or anything else that has to do with the story or design really.
I am open to working on any genre – RPG, horror, dating sim, you name it! Team size doesn't matter to me, and I can work with other writers if needed. While I am in the CET timezone, I do not mind working with people in other timezones, and have experience doing so.
If you're interested, please add me on Discord: stardustsailor is my tag. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Looking for:
Passionate artist for creating character designs for a 2D isometric History RPG Mobile Game Developer with a fair rev-share model.
Game description:
"Warriors of the Wind" is a mobile historical RPG about World War II in Japan. We intend to tackle Japan's difficult history tastefully and tell it as it was, teaching audiences about the lesser known side of World War II. The game will feature a mission-based structure with both main and side missions, all based on historical events and battles. There will be various characters to choose from to play each mission, each with their own unique playstyle and narrative arc.
Visual Style:
We are looking for a stylized, slightly cartoonish, but historically sensitive character art direction. Think simple yet expressive, not overly bright more muted, natural colors. Aim for a style resembling Valiant Hearts, and our unique style.
This is a unique opportunity for those who want to gain real-world experience, and be the part of a unique project 🚀🌐
Note: This is “rev-share” project, meaning once the game starts to generate some income, we’ll split it fairly amongst team members.
Looking forward to the possibility of working with a passionate, creative artist!

Children of Alchemy is an upcoming story-focused jRPG set in the fictional land of Izumu, based heavily on feudal Japan. Explore the world, immerse yourself in the story, and practice the forbidden craft of alchemy.
Alchemists – men born with the unique gift of creating potions – have always been valuable contributors to the Izumu society. This was unexpectedly cut short by the new emperor, Katsuro, who banned the craft and introduced other controversial sociopolitical and religious reforms. The persecuted alchemists continue to practice their craft in secret, dreaming of the day they have their revenge.
In the midst of all this, the path of Ryuuji, a mysterious man running from his past, crosses with the one of Akira – a child gifted with unimaginable alchemical potential. Out of lack of a better option, the two decide to join forces. Together, they unravel the mysteries of Izumu and its rulers, meet a cast of diverse characters, and eventually become a part of the complex political landscape themselves.

Hello forum dwellers!
I'm a Polish writer looking to gain some experience in the world of video games. I've written many short stories, of which some were published, and even a few novels. As for my video game experience, I'm currently involved with a project and have a few of my own ongoing. I hope to build my portfolio and gain experience by working with... well, you, hopefully!
Examples of what I can help with:
I'm looking to join a team of people who are passionate about making games and could use the help of a writer. I'm flexible when it comes to genre and type of game, and I'm cool with working with other writer or writers (the more, the merrier!).
Please feel free to contact me if you feel I can help your team! Add me on Discord (stardustsailor) or reach out to me by email (aleksandrajung06@gmail.com). See you then!
Hello, I am a writer experienced with short stories and novels and currently working on some games as well. As a portfolio, please see my Itch profile, where I've published a short Twine game about exploring a city wiped by a plague. Myself, I've had a long and exhausting battle with mental health, so I'm positive I have something to say in the subject and can portray it well enough.
As for design, my experience is small, but I learn very fast. I focus on narrative design, but can do general game design if needed. I have some experience working with horror and puzzles.
I'm looking to join a team in the 18-24 category. If you feel like I would make a good addition to your squad, please add me on Discord (stardustsailor) or just reply here. Where there's a will, there's a way. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thank you very much for your feedback! It was intended more for fullscreen, and I do see there are issues when playing via browser preview. I will try to work on that. Thanks for all the comments on the writing, too, I'll make sure to consider all of them when planning an update.
Have a good weekend :)
Hello! Here is my game: https://doksa.itch.io/plague
With the average playtime at 3-6 minutes, it is intentionally a very short game. It’s made in Twine and is currently a WiP, I’m planning on adding on a few features as well as maybe change up the original a bit, so I really do need feedback haha.
Let me know if there’s anything I could do to say thanks!
