Your game is simply... good!
It is an intresting concept with good souneffects and graphics.
Theme and story are weaknesses, but the MECHANICS!
Good work!
Rate my game if you have time and...
Have FUN :3
Fellow puzzle game maker! Love the vibe of the AI generate posters. Very backrooms, creepy but very creative use! The puzzles are fun, don't know how you managed 66 levels of different stuff. Was really trying to think for some.
I really like the lore you have built around this, as others have pointed, I love how different each level is, I made it to 8!
only 57 more levels to go to enter kindtech's employee-of-the-month raffle!
What an interesting puzzle game, so many levels! I've marked this one to come back to, if you develop this further add a save feature. Great entry
thank you so much! if you're on windows you can also download it and play it in a tiny desktop window, if you want to keep going😇
I'm currently at level 64! This game is amazing... but there's no save game, is there??? I'm worried that I'm going to lose all my progress... how far does this go???
EDIT: I did it! This game made me feel like a genius, but I think there was one puzzle where I just did it through trial and error. Really amazing game.
you are nearly there! keep on keeping on!
(and yes - no save games, sorry)
That felt so rewarding. How in the world did you think of this game concept??? In any case, I love it. Thanks for sharing it.
thank you so much!
About the inspiration for the game:
I felt motivated to try to make a puzzle game that trusts players to figure things out for themselves after playing Blue Prince like a maniac (and seeing how I was not the only one enjoying it)
and then I was really inspired by the unsettling atmosphere of the show Severance which I watched recently. So these both things just came together.
I reached level 6, and I think I got the first thing to enter correctly, but then it just spaced out on me...
For some reason, on an earlier level I managed to the the "9" key somewhat stuck, jut a graphical glitch though, it still worked.
Quite a number cruncher, indeed.
"spaced out" as in crashed? sorry to hear that. I was naively thinking I had this thing bug free, but of course that was hubris!
No, more in the sense of making sense of it :)
aaahh! it's a rhythm game!
I had the impression there was a rhythmic component involved :D
I love puzzle games so... you got my vote!
I also like the merchandizing effort. Really great! A very original way to tell the story! I feel like it could have been a mini game in Fallout!
5 stars for sure! I lack some music? :)
thank you, truly! I am planning on a bigger game that has a world to explore but that features many types of puzzle-mini-games, so I'm quite happy that this one seems to do well.
I decided against music because a lot of the later puzzles fully depend on sound and I wanted the atmosphere to be just a little bit unsettling.
I got to level 10 or so and loved it. Stretching the theme into the abstract, the game world is simply a calculator. Still, the execution is spot on. The look and feel are wonderfully executed, and the simple puzzles are satisfying—outstanding.
so glad you caught my interpretation of the theme. I was a little concerned people think I didn't care for the theme at all. the windows build makes it super apparent, as you can play it in a tiny desktop window, but of course that's not how most people will play it.
now I am wondering if it's possible to play it on a smartwatch, too 🤔 that would be so funny.
It could be a killer smart watch game!
The Salvador Dali of GDTV jams, I'll always try what you put out there.
Got to level 6 and then the sounds were turning my brain into mush.
Will be back.
wow, thank you so much.
mother, look, I made it! I'm famous!😅
Stuck on level 6. Maybe add a hint for each level?
there's a subtle hint for level 6 in the title😇
surprisingly fun game for a calculator.. and somehow intuitive! great job on it.
Fun game, pretty hard, but I like the core mechanic. Great job, great sounds.
Fun. Interesting, and great concept, love the 80/90 tech ads. Has anyone made it past level 06?
Well, I got to 1234 :) Love the look, kind of spooky for some reason. Like all the AI propaganda images too. Not sure if this is just a random number guesser or if there is something more in there, but I also don't want to know to leave the mystery there in a liminal space.
you are probably right john.
Great game design and concept! I couldn’t figure out the solution, but it was still fun to play. Great job!
you might consider making it a bit easier for noobies like me x
Is a good game it remains me to "there is not a game" my congrats
I think I need to try this tomorrow, my brain is not engaging tonight and I couldn't figure out what I was doing so couldn't get past the first level. The aesthetics, feel of the keyboard, sounds etc are absolutely top notch though. Fantastic!
please do come back :-)
I was wondering why certain things weren't working in the game when it looked like they should. The color variance between somewhat correct and fully correct is too small for my colorblindness to pick up the difference, so I couldn't get very far in the game.
Besides the accessibility issues, the game seems really neat! It's like wordle, but with numbers!
hey thanks for pointing that out - I will definitely look into that.
there is a secret hint system (where could it be "?") that will eventually give you the solution if you would like to try out other levels as well (the other 7 level modes are less or not at all reliant on color)
1 always love 2 take a trip into bizzaro-land with your gam3s. Thanks 4 another.
I love the mysterious vibe, from figuring out the mechanics (which are really clever by the way), to the unsettling background ambience. I've made it to level 16 so far but I'll definitely be coming back to this game to see if I can reach the end! Great job as always!
