thanks for playing <3

thanks for playing it

oh dear, sorry about that. In this version the collision is a single point so you likely got that off the screen and over the top of tiles… I’ll have to have a look into it.

Im exploring making a better version so this will go on the bug list.

I was probably jumping, I don’t really remember now aside from it was a fun game!

he is well fed!

thanks for playing it <3

I do the GDTV one, they allow fixes but not features, but they are not strict at all, it’s about finishing something.

I’ll have to have a look at OLC

thanks for trying it out, I’ve already fixed the jumping bug but unfortunately we are not allowed to update while voting is open.

Such a silly oversight, I left the vertical speed uncapped 😩

I’m glad you found some fun in it, thanks for playing, it wasn’t intended to be this brutal, a bug was found when the submission window closed 🥹

Thanks for playing, unfortunately I didn’t spot a bug in development (uncapped vertical speed, so you can turn into a rocket)

I appreciate the suggestion, it wouldn’t be too hard to add a tiny story to it. I am working on it in the background based on everyone’s feedback :)

Thanks for playing, there is a silly bug that I didn’t catch while developing it, I have fixed it but unfortunately we are not allowed to update the game on itch until voting ends.

thanks for trying it out!

I agree there, I find it easy but I’ve play tested with a few mates and I'm surprised they all struggle with it.

I noticed a multi jump issue where you go up like a rocket 🤣

thanks for playing it. Agree, there was meant to be some kind of danger at the top or bottom, I’m not sure what.

I think I’d like to revisit this idea, with some more power ups, maybe shrink the graphics so I can fit more in the 128x128 frame.

i really enjoyed that, the controls / movement were really good!

that was neat! I got stuck on the hold right to win mostly level! you packed a lot in to this!

very nice! you packed a lot in here. lovely to see another pico 8 game!

this was great fun. I managed to beat all the levels!

this was great! I love the music, I have never played anything like it, very original.

thanks for playing it mate!

just a shame I missed the window really, well done, you scored really well and I can see why

Unfortunately I missed the rating window on this, its fantastic, I will 100% come back to try it properly

Thanks for playing it, I am really glad you enjoyed it and thank you so much for your kind words

thanks for playing it, it is quite hard

thanks for playing, I wanted to keep it controller friendly, but I agree the controls could use some dialling in.

This is a really neat foundation to a game, it looks great and plays really well.

I really liked the character and enemy animations, it was fun to play!

I enjoyed playing it!

I really enjoyed the character graphics, that little guy looks great!

That was great, I liked the hue puns, I liked the gameplay. it was well rounded.

That would make a great mobile game, it was fun, looked and sounded great, and most of all it had me wanted to try one more round.

That was nice and relaxing, the graphics and music reminded me of unrailed, but with unique gameplay.

Thanks for playing it, I didn't explain the gameplay loop at all, which was a huge mistake, there was much more I wanted to add / refine but time is always against us.

  • The ship regenerates +5hp if you are not hit for 20 seconds (up to 75%) I wanted to avoid power ups since you are meant to be in a body, but perhaps I could have awarded health by going near something good, say a blood cell.
  • Green and Purple was for visual variety, they also behave slightly differently... Purple will attack then retreat, they will only attack again if they see you. Green will attack on sight, they retreat... but will attack again. I had ideas for others, like ones that break apart etc
  •  Time was intended as a way to convey that the patient needed urgent help, you get a bit back each time you kill the viruses. I didn't want people to just sit around regenning health, and wanted a sense of urgency.

That was great!  I loved the story, the art, the music, I would have liked a way to speed up (not skip) the AI moves (hold E and it goes double speed or something) It is a me problem though as I have a short attention span.

I really enjoyed that! it is a minecart ride like Ottos adventure but with dynamite and cool surf music! well done to the team!
