decent execution, was clever how the different sized slimes interacted with the stage. I would have liked if the bullet bouncing was rewarded more by resetting the slime invulnerability; dunno if that would have made it too easy. Unfortunately the game softlocked for me at the end of the third stage.

There is no invulnerability time on the slime. The effect is just here to show to the players that they hit the slime.
In fact the slime take damage each time the bullet is hitting the slime. So if the bullet get stuck in the slime it won't deal damage to it. The bullet needs to get out of the slime hit box to deal damage again.
Well done! I enjoyed the game and appreciated the multiple choices of upgrades. This is down to personal preference, but the bullet feels a bit too slow in the beginning. I also really like the boss designs. Overall, you did a good job!
Great, fun design, with a surprisingly good amount of balance for any game - especially a jam game. I bet this took a lot of play testing! In my play through, I ended up choosing to increase my bullet size until it got huge haha. Nice!
This was really good! The idea was executed very well and the game was well polished. The upgrade system was very well done too. Even though the differences between enemies were simple, those differences were enough to make each enemy different to fight. Very nice!
My best after a few tries was level 7 in about 5 mins.
I enjoyed this. I think maybe there could be a way to sacrifice a resource(maybe health) to get your bullet back, that could solve the problem of bullets getting stuck under big slimes and give player more to think about.

Sometimes the big slimes get stuck and if the bullet stops under them there is no way to reach it. Other than that very cool!

got frustrated with no save points,
also the upgrads speed is basically the only one i went for.
