Hi NiHuShu ! Our games are really similar, we almost did the same projet to be honest. I think we can both take the best out of the other project to polish them.

What you might improve is the usage of you're screen space for the character movements. Here's what I mean: I did the same movements again and again to beat the waves and did not use all the space you left me with. You could force the player to change his position by spawning mobs near him, forcing him to update his position constantly instead of "camping".

One last small point. In our game, the player has the opportunity to chose an upgrade after each level. Where your game force him to collect coins (which is good) to take one. Here's the thing, players that pass all the levels but doesn't collect coins won't get any upgrade. Which can be frustrating since you are not getting any reward for your progression.

Here's the link of my game : https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/463391

If we continue this game out of the context of the jam, we'll work on this "lack of juice" :) Thank you.

I see! I can already imagine him behaving like a pufferfish. Changing his color to yellow and adding this mechanic might be the perfect solution. Thank you.

Great game, well done. The slope for the decelaration might be a little bit to slow in my opinion, it feels like you are on ice. Nice job otherwise !

Thank you for the feedback, I'll checkout your game.

I enjoyed your game a lot. Too bad it ended that fast ! I also agree on the other comments you had about the choice of your font, you can read the text but the focus needed to read the story kinda takes you out of the immersion. Nice job otherwise !

It's true that their size is hard to handle but they are more predictable, often stuck in places and can be killed easily. What would you suggest to avoid any frustration regarding this type of slime ? Make them even slower ? Thanks for the feedback, I'll checkout your game !

That's actually a good point. We would like to add a mechanic to retrieve your bullet when it's to hard to get to it. Giving up some HP is probably the way to go as you mentioned.
