How does your game fit the theme?
The controls are wacky, the production line in the game is out of control, and finally, the game eventually gets out of control with how many things it spawns. (Something special happens at 2000 highscore ;) )

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Yes

We created all art during the game jam

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

No

We used pre-existing audio

Was kind of weird, I wasnt too clear on what was better to eat... The out of control part is kinda fun though, maybe id even tone it up, because it still is a bit too easy to eat stuff. Maybe add some modifiers on what food the guy actually wants to eat and maybe you get extra points for that idk. In general it needs maybe a few more mechanics to spice things up

There was one main issue holding me back from adding more game mechanics in:

I'm a one man team and it didn't seem reasonable to extend the scope out too far and sacrifice the simplicity of what's already there. There were different attributes. Ham and discs give you the most points, different objects have different levels of bounciness and the size variety means certain things are more likely to stick in your throat. I felt like anything past that would take too much time away from play testing and refining. I didn't want to go with the idea of having some foods being beneficial and other detrimental as, though it would be more intuitive, it would sacrifice the mood I was going for. I am planning to add small effects to eating foods but nothing too noticeable.

Really well executed. Using physics really highlights that out of control feel, the game feels fair and the difficulty spikes are really fun because they come with a final point boost (due to tons of objects falling at the same time) before it gets hardcore!!

Fun! I wish I got paid for eating dice... :C

That's the dream... that's the dream.
Life goals right there.

I don't know what to say except : weird ^^

It surely is a unique experience !

Fun, uniquie mechanic. Easy to pick up and get a hang of! Only thing I would suggest would be a way to maybe move slower, like maybe a sensitivity slider or a keybind. But other than that a great game!

Developer

First time I've heard that suggestion. I'd me more than happy to adjust that along with some other small things post jam.

Really unique idea and a very funny game :D well done !!!

Nice game! Cool mechanic and elegantly simple inputs for an out-of-control physics experience. Hilarious and well done!

Very nice game! Fun gameplay too!

I was a little surprised when it said "Banana!", nice detail... It already got a nice list of things to eat!

I also like how we get through the menu screen!

One thing I found was that sometimes the things get stuck in the container only when it is closing and are dropped in another round...

Great Job!

wow this game is awesome! really fun and creative idea with great sounds, visuals, and especially the voice acting!!! one thing you could improve on though is the difficulty curve. for most of the game i found it pretty easy to stay alive (or from getting "fired" rather) until the end where it was literally impossible due to  how many got spawned at once. overall though, this is an amazing game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! :)
The difficulty curve was designed that way intentionally. I both wanted a way to avoid going infinite with the score, and also wanted to fit the theme in more ways than just how flappy the jaw it.

What a weird game ahah, I really like it ! I wish I had a bigger mouth to eat more food and make a higher score, great job for the game!

"The game is already lokking good, i don't know what to say. The only thing i can say is that you can't play a second round after you lose one, but i have a strong feeling that's somewhat intenctional..."

Remember this comment??? Well, my opinion didn't change much (Apart, of course for the fact that the replay is not added, of course), so i can only say "Good Job!!!"

Really original idea, I liked how this game is able to get a lot of nuanced control out of only two buttons. There's a lot of humor and personality, which helps liven up the gameplay. Great work!

Really fun game, I think that the types of food should have more significance, e.g. gives you a speed boost or other bonus when you eat enough, but otherwise a really polished and creative game, great job!

What a fun game! I hit 800 then 1500 points. I really like the way my jaw just lagged behind me. I think it's probably not very safe to eat all those CDs though...Only points of feedback would be; Sometimes its impossible to go to the new location which breaks my combo, and sometimes things are dropped just as the door closing; then when it re-opens It'll kill my combo as the thing falls so fast.

Overall, this game was super fun, and I think the take on the theme is awesome :D

Very original - the silliness and humour were on point! Had a lot of fun :)

Submitted(+1)

Well done! Simple and fun, the way i like it :)

Voice that says whatever the thing is dropping, UI that controlled the same way as gameplay, finally, secret tattoo.

This is a pretty funny game.

Quintessential Game Jam silliness! Had a great time playing it.
