I LOVE IT! Such a funny concept hahaha

This is the kind of game that seems to show up every GMTK Game Jam, always with a new theme-flavored twist, but that's not a bad thing at all! I really liked what you did with it. The gameplay is simple, but it works really well and kept me engaged. Good job :)

(1 edit)

It somehow reminded me of Snake! It's simple, but also incredibly addictive. Every time I thought I was done playing, I found myself saying, "just one more", then I.... exploded. Great job! I really liked your utilization of the theme.

Oops! I just realized the rating page I was sent wasn't for the game I actually played. My previous comment was intended for a different game. Sorry for the confusion!

I just tried this one, and I think you need move the character closer to the first tree (to the right), then press S!

Ouf, I wasn't expecting a game like that... but in a good way! The creepy atmosphere is done perfectly.

I... died.     ...A lot.

It's one of my favorite games so far! The use of the theme is great. I found it really addictive to play cards and then quickly discard them in the hope of drawing the good numbers. I also wasn't expecting the introduction of new card with unique effects after the first level, that was a really pleasant surprise! Very impressive for a game jam.

I'm sorry, I'm waaaay too bad to play your game haha. I tried a couple of times but couldn't get very far! But good job on your game, and congratulations on finishing and submitting it for the game jam!

Wow, what an impressive game for a first game jam! I hope you enjoyed the experience of participating and publishing a game :).

I really enjoyed the gameplay loop, it's simple at first, but it quickly becomes addictive. The new game ingredients you gradually introduce do a great job of keeping the experience engaging and adding variety to the challenge. Great work!

Good job on your first game!! Even with a tutorial, publishing a game for a game jam is a great achievement :) I hope you enjoyed the experience and continue making more games in the future!

I wasn't sure I understood everything, but I could clearly see the creativity and effort behind it. I was surprised to find a 3D game in a game jam. Great work!

I finished the game! At the beginning, you need to move closer to the blue-ish orb using the arrow keys, then press Space to interact with it.

I loved the direction of the game! The way each level gradually adds more clues and evidence kept me engaged, and putting the pieces together to find the culprit was really satisfying. Great job!

I love the mood of your game, the sound effects, art and music are  great! I was waaay too slow at first, but after a few tries things started to click (ba dum tss!), and finally succeeding felt super rewarding. Nicely done!

Nice little puzzle game!

Very addictive game! However, towards the end I started to get a bit motion sickness haha

very simple, but fits the theme very well! Good job :)

Even if a bit difficult, the puzzles were very interesting and the scaling mechanic was well executed. Good job!

Very nice use of the theme, good job!

The feel of the game is simply perfect, and the planets are adorable!

I had fun doing the puzzles, good job!

The twist for the enemy's health is really interesting, good job!

Nice utilization of the theme! Good job :)

Such a cute and fun concept, good job!

Amazing puzzle game! I like the idea of the time paradox (so far, I haven't seen any other team using the same theme).

Good job on your submission!

Believe it or not, when our team brainstormed, we came up with a very similar idea! (the reversed role  that you're a dog, and you drag your master into a difficult situation). Eventually, we settled on another concept (a reverse vampire survivor).

But I can't believe someone actually did it! It's really fun, I had a lot of fun creating chaos! Good job on your submission

Nice concept, works great! Love the aesthetics. The gameplay is simple, but really fun. The upgrades are interesting. Unfortunately, I pressed Q per accident and reset my progression. Still, I enjoyed it!

This game is a really fun one! I really liked the touch of humor. The execution is really good. Even though the gameplay is simple, it's quite addictive!

From all the games I've tried, your to first one with a reversed tower defense! I really like the way you execute it.

I wasn't expecting to see a game with gamepad controls in the gamejam.

For keyboard and mouse, it was difficult to press both WASD and 1/2/3/4 at the same time. Since pressing WASD require the usage of all three middle fingers, I recommand using key that are closer to the thumb and little finger (e.g. CTRL, Shift or space bar!) Button on your mouse are also free. :)

I love the reference to Pokemon! Now I can't help imagining them running away from trainers haha

Good job on the concept! The drawings and music are perfect with your theme.

The art is so stylish for a gamejam! I really like your direction.

Even if there are bugs, you've made good use of the theme. Although I haven't finished it, I can see the potential!

Such a fun concept! You took the "role reversed" to another level haha

The gameplay is simple, but really funny. I was squash a couple of time!

A cute little game! The art is minimalist, but really charming. You've got a great start to a fun gameplay!

Cute and original puzzle game! I never thought a bowling game could have this much depth. I just wish the rotation didn't reset every time I moved a block haha (I'm probably just not good enough!)

Not sure if I would play a full game based on this gameplay, but for the gamjam, your concept fits the theme perfectly! It's very original.

The art style is quite unique and I the audio adds a perfect humorous touch. Good job!

I was not expecting to see a building game, very impressive for a 48-hour game jam, well done! Controls were a bit hard to pick at first (maybe a tutorial level with text would have helped?), but other than that, it was fun!

I had a bit of trouble figuring out what was my goal at first, but once I got the hang of it, I had a lot of fun!

Like you said, it is really neat to see how a similar inspiration can lead to complete different game!

When I first read about the concept, I wasn't convinced, but once I tried it out, I really saw the potential! It was funny, good job :)

It's a really interesting twist on the platformer-puzzle genre! Love that your objective might also block your path haha

Just tried your game, I had trouble understanding at first but once I got the hang of it, I had a lot of fun! It simple, but really addictive (but I was not really good... my best score is only 4060 haha).

Good job, one of the best games I've tried so far!

Fun game! I'm not evil enough to defeat the last level haha

We've also tried a reverse vampire survivors, but our execution is completely different. It's really fun to see how a similar inspiration can lead to completely different gameplay!

One of the best games I've played so far! It's easy to understand, the art is really nice and I had a lot of fun spawning various enemies. It's really impressive for a 48-hour game!
