How does your game fit the theme?
The role reversal in this game comes from the idea of a guide dog - reversed. Instead of leading your visually impaired, full-body cast-owner to safety (you know.. GUIDE-ing them)... You LEAD THEM STRAIGHT TO THE DANGER.

Everything about this game just comes together so well - even the janky controls and camera only serve to further embolden the chaos. Really well executed concept - I had a ton of fun!
Sadly I could not rate everyone’s games who commented but I super appreciate all of the amazing feedback you have given us! thank you so much for playing our silly game it means a lot!
This is silly and amazing! I like how the best way to play is to stop trying to understand, and just lose controls and let chaos do its thing. It's absolutely fun. The sound-design is also delightfully joyfull. Kudos for making this game!
Yep. FUNNIEST game in the jam. Friggin' love this XD
this is so charming! feels like the kind of game that could only be made in a jam and i do NOT mean that as an insult, nothing this weird and chaotic tends to come out of someone sitting down and trying to think of the next steam hit. had a great time with this, brilliant stuff!
Cool idea! I did have an issue when playing in fullscreen, though - the game window was still smaller than my monitor resolution, and whenever the mouse left the game window, the game would stop registering it until I moved it back. Maybe recentering the mouse whenever it moves would prevent that? Otherwise, cool game! Judging by the person’s full-body cast, I suspect this isn’t the dog’s first chaotic spree…
that was fun, good job guys! very cute borzoi btw
Loved it! Poor guy in the wheelchair! Yea. like eveyone else mentioned, mouse controls can be better. Playable area can be extended more. I was expecting a linear moving environment such as Temple run. But this was fun too! Great visuals! BORZOINK indeed!
Wacky, charming, cute, BORZOINK! great name xD I managed 1397 after a few runs, but it seems no one else is posting high scores so idk how I stack up against others D':
Seeing you have 200+ comments already I dont think theres much more I can contribute, but I'll quickshoot a bunch of things and hopefully theres something that hasnt been said
-add point values that pop up (kinda like dmg numbers) so you know how many points something is worth, know exactly when youre getting points, and generally add more feedback on your actions
-if you spin around next to a wall, you can start to float your guys up
-camera went wonky one time in top right corner of map and couldnt see stuff anymore
-music volume kinda loud
-cursor is no longer borzoink when you hover over buttons on main menu. This is dependent on the zoom scale of the browser. At 50% hes still borzoink no matter where your cursor xD
-web resolution is too large and fits awkwardly on webpage at 100% scale
-you have setting in itch.io page that adds a second fullscreen button. the itch fullscreen button fullscreens the game with respect to webpage scale but still keeps the unity fullscreen button on it. The unity fullscreen button removes the bottom bar, and properly fullscreens it. you can specify the viewport dimensions so the unity bar on bottom isn't cut off either, just add an extra 60 px or so
-score and timer text can be kinda hard to see depending on whats behind them, having them on a separate panel would make look nice as heck
-i did ctrl+r to restart one of my runs real quick without having to wait for timer to run out and it reset my high score because thats bound to R D;
-mute button text is very blurry and since its only one thing in options, it could probs just be on the main menu in the corner or something. TextMeshPro (part of unity, but need to import the package) makes it a lot easier to do clean fonts and works almost the same as default unity text with extra options
-gameplay is quick and chaotic i love it. would love if theres other people you can knock around too haha xD
-sound effects + music: perfection. i love the song stops at end of timer, but i think something threw off the timing in one of my runs (probs clicking out of game or alt+tabbing)
-the way dog moves his legs is just smart and hilarious
-i misunderstood the hazard stats panel at first, but I think the point + bonus point system is really interesting. i think you only get the bonus when the object is destroyed? could call it damage reward and destruction reward or something like that to make more clear
-the physics with the rope and guy is way fun. very satisfying to just spin around :D
hope it doesnt seem like im nitpickings, i had a lot of fun in this game and wanted to contribute at least something that hasnt been said already xD
Thank you so much for the feedback boats it is greatly appreciated, regarding TMP we are already using it I just slapped a default unity toggle on the options menu which came with default text component, the options was a last minute rushed thing so kind of just fell apart.
Lots of useful feedback here that I will go through and add to our Trello board later so thank you so much!
Both the idea and the execution are amazing! The models and art are extremely well made for 48 hours. Although you didn't make the audio, it still fits amazingly well with the theme of the game. The idea itself is really creative with the role reversal being something as unique as a guide dog and their owner. The gameplay itself is, I feel, intentionally weird and quirky with the weird physics, hitting things, and the wonky controls. I do feel the gameplay could be updated to have more than just hitting things, maybe a bigger map and things you can interact with/unique things to bump into like maybe dragging the electrical box into some water or something to add to the chaos or like pressing buttons to open doors or something, human fall flat/just die already style. Overall this is an amazing game!
With the amount of comments youve had there probably isnt much new I can tell you. Except maybe that this game would massively benefit from a leaderboard. It would add an infinite amount of replayablility as people would be trying to beat their own highscores to get their names into the top ten, and then try beat others in the top 10 to move up the leaderboard, I honestly think its something you should seriously consider if you are continuing to work on this game, it's the perfect game for it. Lean more into the wackiness if possible. (also I'm sure you have already been told about the camera sometimes going inside one of the buildings, nothing game breaking) Very enjoyable silly game and with a few tweaks could be really good
Goofy lil game; with this many comments you've bound to have already heard this, but: great work with concept, execution, and sound design; controls and camera are real jank; would love to see more things added map-wise (like cars driving through, or ig more space)
I love the art and music.
And I also like how quirky the control is.
It kept me laughing the whole playthrough
A funny game with zany streak a mile while! Love and art, sound, and music.
First of all, I love the concept, art, and environment. The idea of a guide dog repeatedly slamming their owner into obstacles is a funny take on the theme.
As others have said, the controls and camera work can be a bit wonky. I think this is a situation where keyboard controls might have worked better than mouse if you’re only controlling left/right. Once I started to get the hang of it it was really fun messing with the physics, especially if you can get a tight turn to swing into something.
Overall, nice work for 48 hours!
This was probably one of the first games I played but I didn't comment which is strange because I try to leave a comment on every game I play lol
First off, the game looks great, I love the models and artwork in general for the UI elements. I did have trouble seeing the numbers above cars and other objects, even on fullscreen mode, I think their size needs to be increased but it's just a small issue I had. The controls were a little wonky to me, or at the very least I felt that the wheelchair should take a much wider angle and the movement should be a bit less sensitive, if the movement was tweaked a bit it would definitely make it way easier to control the dog and owner. The concept itself is one of the highlights of the game for me, it's one of the most unique games I've played this week. Fun game, and well done to your team!
Good idea! Very funny game... Art and sounds looking good...Also presentation is good but controls so bad. Maybe gameplay can be improve. It would be nice if there was a leaderboard.
Hilarious concept, super fun!
I laughed a lot))) Great idea!
Although about controls, not very comfortable to control with a mouse.
Poor owner...
What a silly game. I liked it, especially the animation of the dog running. lol
The movement was a bit hard to track so I'd appreciate it if you had it a bit more clearly!
