Very nice! The part where you introduce the bubbles is soo good. You walk back as a large one and pop them without jumping showing the mechanic effortlessly. Great job!

Developer

Said by those who have made the most original game of the jam is an honor :D Thank you very much!

There's a lot that I like about this. I'm historically not a very good platform player, but your walljump mechanics were easy to understand mechanically and easy to execute. Your puzzles were clever without being taxing, and your music selection slots in very nicely with this game's tone overall as a chill puzzle platformer. The theme is a little bit of a stretch for me, but you balanced that out in my opinion with good use of its design. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I try my best to design the level as good as possible.. I draw it with pen and paper ahah. Oh, you're the only one that appreciate the wall jump, thank you! :)

The music relaxing, great job. I would change how the waljump works like how it is in my entry lol, but maybe it’s just me.

Thank you! You are not the only one that doesn't like the Cyan's walljump, but.. I can't reach to finish your game because I find too difficult to use the wall jump ahah! I'll try later when I can use another pc, I'm on a Ubuntu one and it is a bit laggy.

My avira is blocking your game :(

Developer

Really?? 😟 So Sorry, i don't know why

Submitted

Yes, it found a 'TR/Dropper.Gen" in your game and deleted the game right away :/

I admire the minimalism of this game's look. The simple shapes and the two color scheme is so great. I also like the idea but the wall jump is very hard to do reliably. Also, I got stuck once in the wall after eating. Overall, it is a very nice platformer and it was loads of fun to play.

Developer

Thank you! The wall jump is not so difficult but probably I don't write very well how to do it: hold the X button and use the arrow without release the X. But you're not the only one, I think I will change it with something more "standard" ;) sorry for getting stuck in the wall :(

Submitted(+1)

I got stuck in the wall a few times changing from small to large!

Cool little game, I say little since the window is tiny unless you go full screen! Some nicely designed puzzles too, took a little while to figure some of them out. I really liked that you made each mode (small/large) have it's own set of mechanics and strengths/weaknesses. Really made you plan out how to tackle each level.

Developer

Sorry for the bug when switching dimension, I will fix it! Thank you for enjoy playing my little game! :)

I like the simple aesthetics and I can see how you went about implementing the game. It was a little hard for me to control especially because how my buttons are laid out on my keyboard. I would recommend allowing WASD and SPACE as alternative controls. :)

Developer

Mmm you're right, an alternative control layout (or gamepad support) is a good idea to implement. Thank you for play my game!

I don't like the level where you have to use a box to jump over the gap. The box kept falling into the pit.

Developer

Hi! I'm so sorry, probably the distance between block is too small for you to appreciate the challenge. I will change a bit the design of the level, thank you!

I really like the aesthetic of this game. Played well enough that I played the whole thing. There are some exploits you can do with the mechanics to make some of the levels easier than they were intended to be, but the puzzles overall felt simple and did a good job to make me think without being overwhelming. I'd like to see what you can come up with if you were to take some more time and make another batch of levels. Nice entry, overall!

Developer

Thank you very much, I'm happy to know that you enjoy playing it! Yes, I know that the game is too short, but it was my first jam and I try to make it simple as possible to reach the goal of the release in time ;)

Submitted

A great entry for your first jam! Keeping it simple is a great way to have your best chance of completing a jam game, for sure. We've had multiple failed jams due to our games getting too complicated.

The design of the puzzles was good but the sensitivity of the boxes hindered some of them in a bad way. The wall jump was super frustrating, but after reading that holding X makes it easier, I managed to finish the game. I liked the color palette.

Developer

Do you think that I need to explain better how to do the wall jump? Or I must change the way I develop it?

Submitted(+1)

You can do both, but I think the second one is the better.

Submitted

I like the differences between the two modes and how that impacts your puzzle solving planning. The design of the game is pretty minimalist and I do like it. The wall jump seems a little finicky with the timing being so precise, it would be nice if that could be smoothed out more in the next iteration. Good job altogether.

Developer

Hi! How did you do the wall jump? Are you keeping pressing the X button? I see that this solution didn't like at some people! :(

Submitted

Great puzzle game, though I encountered a bug in which expanding while in the air caused me to get stuck in the ceiling above me

Developer

Oh, I'm so sorry :( I will fix it!

Submitted(+1)

OMG DID U ACTUALLY MAKE THIS IN A WEEKEND?

THIS IS SOOOOOO FUN

Developer

Yes, a made the graphics as simple as possible for this reason.

I really like this, the puzzles are simple and make sense (save for one puzzle where the box and the player occasionally get stuck together because of the water mechanics) and the colour scheme helps adhere to the theme, it's a neat little piece and you clearly put a lot of heart into it

Developer(+1)

Ehy! Thank you very much, also your comment fill my heart :D Oh, sorry for getting stuck with the water, I don't find this bug during the development, I will fix it. But first I would like to see what is your game for the jam.. See you soon! :)

Submitted

Thanks man, I appreciate it :) It wasn't anything hugely major, I did manage to crack the puzzle in the end, I think it's a logical consequence of the fact that small players float on water while boxes and stuff sink so I think it actually might just have been me lmaooooo - anyway great game man, keep at it chief

Submitted(+1)

Really cool idea. Looking at the level and deciding at what point you'll want to use the power-up was great. Really liked the presentation too. Good stuff!

Developer

Thank you very much for playing! :)

(1 edit)

Nice idea with the eating a burger to get bigger. The wall jumping was a pain for me so I gave up before reaching third level. :/

Developer

oh, sorry :( you need to keep pressing "X" and than change the direction near a wall. It is easier than you think!

(+1)

Aaaaah! Holding the jump button made it a lot easier. Finished the game! Well done!

Developer

Thank you very much for trying again :D

Submitted

Wow, incredible puzzle design and soundtrack. Very interesting.

Developer

Thank you Reddo! Just to know: have you find it hard?

Submitted(+1)

The first few levels are quite easy, but the diffulty ramps un nicely. They are not so easy as to do them first try without thinking, but also not so hard as to have me pull my hair out. It's just really solid puzzle design.
