First of all, the game is beautiful to watch, congrats to the artists!
Secondly, I think that the submission kind of falls short in puzzle design, but as short as it is I'm not really bothered by it. My only problem with that is that the idea behind of only having one light is GREAT and I think its potential is not showcased in the build. But with some work and well thought out puzzles this could be a great game that I would definitely play, and with pleasure. So, overall, I really liked the idea, great job!
I would love to add more stuff to give more variety to the game, but for the jam, I'll settle for a simpler and easy side, thanks for the feedback <3
really good game what ever presented but lacks something in it what i couldn't explain , but unique game
Maybe the mechanics are too simple, anyway thanks for the feedback <3
Really polished feeling game. Trying to choose whether I should explore with my mouse or hover over a ghost is a really great game loop that takes time to learn how to balance well. It falls a bit on the easy side of the difficulty scale but overall still pretty enjoyable. Also a simple yet effective use of the theme
Thank you for the kind words!! I made it easy for the jam, I'll add more stuff and bump up the difficulty in the future <3
1.Very cute pixel art!
2.The idea itself is great, but the control feel a bit werid to me. Maybe attach the light to the player keep it a certain distance, and make it a dual-stick control would be better.
Overall, a pretty cool game. Btw, super attactive gif.
Thanks for the feedback, twin stick control could be a great addition, I'll try to implement in the future <3
Very good core idea at some more levels and things to interact with and this could be a nice steam game :)
Thanks for the feedback!! Will add more stuff in the future, possibly a full game, thank you <3
Let me know when its ready :)
Great art! Would be even cooler if the torch interacted with the environment more.
Will definitely add more stuff in the future :D thanks for the feedback <3
The art style is AMAZING! But the enemies could impact the gameplay imo.
I didn't want to make it too difficult for the jam, so I lowered the difficulty, just want to execute it correctly, thanks for the feedback <3
Nice job! My only complaint is that sometimes it's better to kill yourself if you took a wrong turn than it is to go back the way you came, not sure how to fix that. You also could have had an enemy that needed to be in shadow otherwise it would attack, balancing between the two could have been fun.
Let a genius idea!! I didn't make death punishing you're right about that, I'll make some changes in the future, thanks for the feedback <3
The pixel art is great! I think the 360 range of the torch should be made slower or the torch itself should be dimmer. Other than that. Great! 5/5 Original
Thank you for the feedback and suggestion <3
Cool idea, looks great! Might be neat to make the torch dim while it moves around, I found myself abusing swinging the mouse around to see everything at once haha
I don't want to make it too challenging for the game jam, in the future I might make the light dimmer, thanks for the feedbacks <3
Really enjoyed this! The game does a good job simulating the feeling of actually using a flashlight in a dark environment, and I really appreciate how the game is basically completely lacking in challenge until you start getting overconfident a moving too quickly. Well done!
Thanks for the feedback, might add more stuff and challenge in the future, cheers <3
Very good concept! Some of those spikes are very cleverly placed lol. Good pixel art! And stunning those enemies can become very strategical. Good job!
Thank you for the feedback <3
This game is beautiful! I love the concept!
Thank you for the feedback <3
This game looks great! It has a nice atmosphere, which would have been even better with some fitting music. Overall I enjoyed playing it. Good job!
I would like to have music too but can't find a fitting one in time :(, thanks for the feedback tho <3
Great "adherence to the theme" and surpisingly clever idea! Everything works perfectly and it feels in place. It gets quite repetitive after a bit, but it makes sense given the 48 hours limit. Great job!
I know it get repetitive real quick since it does not have much mechanics, that why I keep it short and sweet, thank you for the reply <3
Clever game design ,I love it :D
Thanks for the reply <3
One of the best games I've played this far! It was a great idea for the "only one theme". A couple of issues was the lack of challenge (the last few levels were the same, but bigger) and new enemies/obstacles. Something that forced me to light a corridor before entering it (something like a moving trap maybe?) would be nice! I could see myself playing a full game made like this!
Thanks for the feedbacks!! I would love to add more mechanics, but you know we only got 48 hours :)
Are there plans for continuing making the game after the jam is over? :D
Probably, I have many ideas in mind that I want to implement :D
Cool concept and style! The ghosts were a bit too easy to bypass - perhaps they could be a bit faster or the light a little smaller? Good job though!
The ghost is a bit hard to balance, doing the development I find this speed of the ghost to be the fairest, not to difficult, but not too easy, thanks for the feedback <3
I appretiate the game, as it has a smooth gameplay and exciting levels. Well done!
Thank you for the feedback <3
A very clever idea for a game!
Thank you <3 Glad you liked it
