Very cool and super enjoyable! Game was great fun and sticks to the theme. Lots of variety in the weapons to keep the player on their toes!

Had a lot of fun with this game! The game was designed really well, had to actually figure out what weapon I wanted to use based on the enemies left and their health level. Gotta save those grenades for the next round to hit the swarm
This is a super fun game! I think the one shot mechanic works so well with all the different type of weapons you had.
thanks for the comment! I had a lot of fun playing with the "Only One" idea in the music. Only One note for most of it. Then, when it is more than one note, each note moves by only One semi-tone or One whole-tone. Also played around with removing One note at a time from the phrasing of the rhythms.
Did I need to do it this way? Definitely not
Did it make it fun and challenging to work on the music? Heck yeah 😀
Beautiful graphics and many different weapons, enemies of sufficient intelligence and a difficulty that grows not too fast.
If we then add the working menu and much more it is definitely a great game for a Game Jam.
As for the idea, not very original but follows the theme and therefore I cannot criticize it.
Congratulations.
Really satisfying nailing a group with the RPG~
Pistol feels a little underwhelming given it's one-shot one-target nature but hey, can't make things too easy.
Just wish I could aim better XD
Did you play with the mouse and keyboard or gamepad? You have an aim-assist when playing with mouse and keyboard, which chooses the closest enemy to the mouse pointer within a maximum radius.
First person to love the rocket launcher the most :D And yes, the pistol is a little weak in comparison, but hey that's what pistols are :D
Really liked it a lot! Feels good to one hit enemies by a sword :D Check mine out too if you want!
Nice style. I like that neon glow thing! Kinda strategie within, what weapon first at the beginning of a wave :D Nice work!
Thank you very much.
The dash+sword combo is also my favorite. A little tricky because you are very likely to get damaged, but you are invulnerable during the dash. The combo feels even better when playing with a gamepad. (Press Esc/P to change the settings) Unfortunately, there was no time to implement the aim assist for gamepad...
Fantastic! Really enjoyed this one! One suggestion would be instead of a single screen a little environment to run around would have been cool. But all the same, great game feel, great concept great job!
Yeah, the browser version takes my mouse input but not my keyboard.
I downloaded it though and its a ton of fun! Simple but lots of polish. The sounds are good, the camera shake is noticeable but pretty unintrusive. Theres a lot of game juice.
Design wise, I think the player moves too fast. It seems fitting for a temporary upgrade that might spawn but on it's own the player is almost invincible if they play smart. Also, the physics feel just a tad bit slippery. That's pretty nitpicky though, otherwise this game is absolutely fantastic.
ok, that is really weird, but I gave the new input system of unity a try, which solved my problem with reading the gamepad correctly, but now mouse and keyboard is having problems...
Yeah, I had little to no game juice for my last game jam games and I wanted to put more in this game because it is the perfect type for that :D
I was tweaking the controls a lot. One tester told me it's to direct, then too sloppy/slippery. And balancing the damage, player speed and enemy speed, health and everything was very tricky. We might went a little to easy, but this way more people should enjoy the game. Old casual/pro gamer problem.
