Really neat to see someone submit a game similar to great deck builders like Clank, Dominion, and Thunderstone! Animations for the cards were really slick as well! Only gripe I have is (and maybe i was doing something wrong) I felt that I had to click the card, then then enemy, then the card again in order to attack. Otherwise, great game and great work! :)

Absolutely delightful! Would've liked a visual effect for the stuns and maybe some of the cards but it's surprising to see a deck builder in such a small jam! <3
I played for about 2 hours, you should be proud that you've managed to create a game that engaging. I died right at the end though! With a New Game + option I would've gone right back I think, or with a bit more variety. This is not a criticism, but an encouragement to keep going and develop this!
I actually built a strategy around heals and stuns and each colour having a role, surprising depth!
This is amazing, the art style, the game mechanics, the aesthetic, it all gels really well together to make a very relaxing game! I would suggest totally continuing to develop this idea further and you'd have a marketable game. Some things I'd do to improve the game would be allowing the player to sell cards from their inventory (since it's a bit rough when I want to sell my inventory cards to buy a new shop item but I can't select cards from my inventory to sell) and maybe allow the player to keep mana between turns instead of resetting it. I really enjoyed this and I think you did an amazing job on it! I look forward to your future projects and games.
Amazing game, I ended up playing for a long time! I wish you had time to include more VFX, but this didn't diminish my enjoyment.
Great game! Reminded me a lot of Slay the Spire, with that deck building mechanic. The different "manas" system is pretty nice too, good idea! I would keep working on this idea, maybe for a mobile game. To improve it, I think the deck window should change a bit, maybe stack the same cards into one, show the full cards to see the image... But anyway amazing job!
Really fun game, quite impressived how you made it in 48 hours!
For a little feedback, at first I found weird how you select an enemy before using the card; it seems more natural to choose a card then a target (this is really minor) and how your extra energy resets between rounds. Bugwise, The only thing I noticed is that you can play cards from the deck (that do nothing and you draw them from the discard pile).
TBH, It would be interesting to see this as a full game.
Very fun game, the combat system was fun and fair. The GUI broke for me a couple of times meaning the cards obscured the view of other stuff, but the game fixed itself at the end of the encounter so that was fine. Overall a really fun game, good job :)
Amazing game, nice pun, engaging, balanced and fun. I'm amazed you knocked it together in just 48 hours! I would have loved to have seen more enemies at the beginnignand perhaps some more interesting designs too?
Went so hard on this game I even got the defense mode card in play:
For real, what a engaging entry. This sucked me for an entiry hour, I am not joking. The art is simple, perfect for this, and the deck building was nicely done. The idea of multiple energy bars was great. I found the bug in the image, and another one where there is so much items to buy it just goes down the game, but didn't ruin the game.
By the way, I beat the game, just to transform my hero into the next boss, waiting for the next deck hero, I guess.
Congrats!
Oops, there was an end screen at some point :|!
Looks like you're the first person who won and let me know, but I like the idea that you become the boss.
Also with the cards getting turned over, that was a bug I fixed earlier too, but reared its ugly head back up it seems. Oh the woes of game development! Thank you so much for the play!
EDIT: I love the yugioh joke XD
I love me a good roguelike deckbuilding game! This one was really in depth and I like how there was three different resources you can use, which each had their own identities.
The clicking order (enemy then card) was a bit hard to get used to, but as I played the game more I understood why you did it. This is something that can be explained if you add a tutorial. Some sounds and more feedback for why your actions aren't going through would help with the admittedly rocky start I had with the game.
The balance might need a tiiiiiny bit of work though.
Example 1: Infinite fast energy / damage on turn 1 ( I wanted to see what happened when I got to 100 energy lmao)
Example 2: Infinite damage on turn 1
Overall I had a lot of fun breaking this game in half, it was really polished and had a lot of depth. Good game!
Thank you so much for the play and great feed back! A tutorial was the first thing to get cut for time unfortunately :(
Also, thanks for the feed back on balancing issues--makes me think there are a few other cards that would be similarly broken. I really had a great time on this game jam and think that this project may actually evolve into something bigger :)
I think you should definitely continue developing this game, it was really good! I actually quite enjoyed breaking the game, so it wasn't a negative at all for me. But for a full release unfortunately the game would need to be balanced, bummer. I haven't played slay the spire or any other roguelike deckbuilders, but I think the 3 resources is enough to set it apart
Love the idea, but I would have liked it more if it introduced more of the new content a bit faster than it does, since I found the pace a bit slow. Great job at pulling this off within 48 hours!
Love a card game! I had a difficult time understanding the strategy or difficulty, but what an amazing amount to finish in 48 hours, great job!
I think this game has the potential to engage. But I did not manage to fully understand all rules and mechanics.
I liked how you used the assets to create cards and the path. I loved that.
I missed a tutorial in game. I was lost the first challenge until I read the instructions, but that dragged me out of the game itself.
Anyway I think the game was made on the right direction so congrats!
I love deckbuilding games. Reminds me of when I used to play Dominion a lot with my friends haha. I agree with the other comments that say more feedback and more of a strategy would be nice. Still, you've managed to get so much done in a short amount of time and make an engaging game so great job!
This game needs more interaction feedback and animations to give it justice^^
What makes card games so addicting imo is how polished they are and the "game feel" they give.
I think you made something pretty cool that has potential for more if more care and time is given on it.
Good work
This has a huge amount of content. Seems like it has some real depth as well. My only complaint is that selecting who to attack should be faster, maybe use a click and drag system like slay the spire instead of this multiple click system. Could be turned into a good little mobile game.
A fun hint: if your deck is all stillettos you cant lose :)
I agree it needed more development of the strategy. I spent almost 40 hours on making everything work, and then used scriptable objects to make all the cards and enemies and shops so I didn't budget enough time for actual game play :/
Thanks for the feedback!
Really nice game, I can see this becoming even better with more polishing and visual feedback
