Really cool! I though white cells would respawn u.u
I was really confused what to do. I think because it takes a bit of working out this needs some kind of tutorial. (I know it's a jam however and that would take too long!). Once you get past the confusion this is a really cool concept and fun game. One you can chill out to. Nice entry
Thanks, I appreciate that you took the time to figure it out and comment!
This game is so calming. Having no sound helped me to relax and enjoy just watching the cells. If you wanted to, some calm ambient noise/music and jiggle sounds for the cells may keep the same feel. Great work and congrats!
Hey, I liked the concept. Yes, a little confusing at the start, but later I understood that it's kind of Plant vs Zombie. Nice Work!

Really enjoyable concept but a little confusing at first
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I will try to incorporate some in-game tutorials if I choose to flesh the game out further.
Took a second run to get something working. Interesting concept. Well done.
Thanks very much!
Very cool concept! A little confusing at first, but once I picked up on what to do, it was fun.
Thanks for playing and commenting! I think I may include an in-game tutorial in future iterations, appreciate the feedback.
I was a bit confused as to how to play, but I think you've got a cool concept there. Perhaps you could try incorporating some kind of tutorial into the game itself rather than having it on the Itch page?
I think that's a great idea. Adding it to the list of things to add after the jam. Thanks for playing!
Nice Concept! It took me some time to get used to the controls and understand the whole thing. I love the title!
Would you release a comercial / finished version?
Hey thanks so much! I'm considering working on it further after the jam wraps up. I've never made a commercial game before but maybe if I polish it and add more content I can make a very low price game?
I would not focus on the low price, but in the fun of the game. Work till the version can be released is a big milestone, there are more things in the way than it looks like. Every time you release one, you complete one cycle and you become better for the next time. You have an interesting concept now, put some time limit (like 3 months of work), give it a try. Learn. Become better. Repeat.
Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I think that sounds like a good plan and time frame.
We almost called our game the same title so I felt compelled to check it out. Really nice work!
I appreciate that you can start the wave over, and the mechanics play nicely into the "do I go for economy or military" type of strategy. I do think it would have been worth it to find a song and slap it on there just so there's sound, but still an impressive submission. Well done!
Thank you, gonna check yours out now too!
I just played your sister game in the jam!

Overall a compelling concept and marrying the cookie click upgrade concept with essentially tower defense is an inspired design. I know you know this, but the game needs sound effects to make it juicy enough to truly enjoy. Overall, I had fun with your game, good entry!
Thanks for playing! Yes, I wanted to put sound but I was so burnt out by the last day that I kinda gave up on adding anything else. It will be one of the first things I add once the jam wraps up!
This was a fun game! I never thought to use the theme in this way.
Thank you for playing! I think there are a couple of other games that did something very similar to mine as well.
It would be great if there was some music, because overall I think the game is fun.
Thanks so much. I will definitely add music after the jam wraps up. I was just too tired by the end of the 10 days to add anything else. My next game jam I HAVE TO PUT MUSIC. Because this is my third jam that I didn't put music! OR maybe I should team up with someone who likes to do sound..
Thanks again!
This was a funny little time. I think I got pretty far but there was this wave of those little guys that took me out so quick D: but I enjoyed my time :) fun game
Thanks a lot for playing!
Really fun and challenging, I made it up to wave 7 before going down! 😅 The visuals are super clean and the core idea is great. Would love to see this expanded with some audio and polish later on. Great job on the shaders and gameplay loop, really enjoyed it!
Thank you for taking the time to play! I will likely spend more time on it after the jam ends. Definitely needs some sound and polish.
Cool idea. I hope you take this and push it a lot more with the concept. I can see some people wanting to play this kind of game.
Thanks! I might spend a bit more time on it. It kinda depends on how well it's received during this game jam. Because of the limited time in the jam I started letting the code become an absolute nightmare of hacks just to finish.
AHAHAHA! I hear yah there. I'm scared to look back at some of it :P.
Nice work. I made it up to wave 4. There's no sound or music, right? There are some UI bugs. On LibreWolf, the right bar didn't even appear. And I enabled WebGL but I maybe am missing a permission. On Firefox, clicking the upgrades only worked a couple times and I couldn't figure out which area of the bar to click on to make it work. Great work on the shaders!
Ahhh, thanks for letting me know about the UI bugs! I didn't realize the unity player worked differently in different browsers. That's a bit frustrating. I don't really want to do cross-browser testing for a game jam :(
Yeah, there's no sound. Just didn't have enough time unfortunately.
Thanks for taking the time to play and report the bugs!
great work. fairly intuitive. Worked out what I was doing fairly quickly. lovely visuals. I will play this again tomorrow
Thanks for playing and commenting!
Beautiful work, I didn't make it very far, I need to go back in for one more round!
thank you!! My first positive comment makes me feel like 10 days of crunch time was worth it lol
I know exactly how you feel there! I’m excited to try it again… there are just so many to try!
