Thanks for pointing this out! It may be a bug from my movement script when adding downward velocity. I couldn't get to this before submission, but I will definitely be more aware of this in my future games :)

It's definitely a great concept! The colors are really nice as well. The overall sound volume may need to be turned down a little bit or have an option to turn it down, but otherwise, it was fun :)

This is so cool! Very immersive and the controls are nice

Glad you enjoyed! I'm still new to making pixel art, but I liked how the little guy turned out :)

Thank you for the feedback! Hmm, I don't know if there is a v-sync option, I used Unity to make it. I'll definitely look into it. :)

So creative! Once you figure out the navigation, its a lot of fun :)

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed :)

Thank you for playing!! :)

Holy satisfying! I could spends so long adding sand to the aquarium xD

I LOVE  the comic intro. Such a cool feature. The game was fun and chaotic haha.

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Oooooh that's a good idea! Thanks! :)

Thanks for the feedback! I was intending for the platforms to be more of a challenge for the player so that it simulated a real life moving platform where it would be hard to maintain balance. I could have definitely done better in maybe adding something like minimal camera shakes to indicate that the platform was unstable. I really appreciate you playing the game :)

Love this! I managed to do some cool flips and parkour haha. Great work!

Appreciate you! Thanks for giving the game a play :)

Glad you enjoyed it! :)

The game is really simple and satisfying. I love it haha.

Thank you so much for the feedback! The moving platforms not carrying you as expected was intentional to simulate a real platform moving and not being able to keep balance. The jumping bug though I noticed after submission. I'm definitely gonna look at improving detections for grounds and other things in future games. I really appreciate you playing!

Once I figured out to use the arrow keys, it was a lot of fun! I did hit the balloons a few times though haha. Great job!

I appreciate the feedback! I'll definitely juice up the controls on my next one. Thanks for playing :)

I appreciate you taking the time to play it :) Ill work on balancing on the next game :D

Thank you for playing! I tried to keep the balance with the leap of faith in lv2.  Appreciate the feedback :)

I just finished! Great work! The mining sounds were my favorite :)

The mining sounds were just too satisfying. If there was an option to just let it automatically do the mining, i'd turn it on just let it do its thing and listen to the mining sounds while relaxing xD

Great work!

The game is adorable! Ngl, i thought the little characters chasing me wanted a hug, but then i started losing health xD

That's awesome! I'll be on the lookout for the link to watch it :)

Hi everyone! Please give Rockblasta a try if you have a chance. Thank you!

I played a lot longer than I should have haha. I made it pretty far to only get stunned and fall ALL the way back down xD. Controlling the bug was so difficult for me. Great work!

Haha this is fun! Greate omage to the great Rick :D

This game is so calming. Having no sound helped me to relax and enjoy just watching the cells. If you wanted to, some calm ambient noise/music and jiggle sounds for the cells may keep the same feel. Great work and congrats!

Thank you so much for playing! I wanted that last jump in the 2nd room to be sort of a leap of faith kinda thing, but was unsure if it was too difficult or not haha.

The last few days has been such a mix of chaos and fatigue, in the good way haha. I was not sure if I could finish my game because I started 3 days late, but it was definitely worth it to close it out. This is my 2nd game jam with GameDev.tv and I'm looking forward to trying out all the new games! After a deserved nap of course :)

If anyone wants to try out my 2D action platformer RockBlasta, you can check it out here: https://jpragasa.itch.io/rockblasta

I'd love to hear any feedback anyone has!

Hi! I tried out the game, I wanted to say good job for starts. I really like the character and the death transitions. The overall feel is really nice. The jump for me is very floaty, kinda like space haha. Adding some downward velocity when not grounded might help that a bit. Unless floaty is what you were going for, then it works pretty well. Also, I don't know if there were any sound in the game? The browser didn't pick up any so it was silent for me at least.

I also made a platformer for the game jam if you want to check it out: https://jpragasa.itch.io/rockblasta

I'm more than open to any feedback as well!

Thanks for the fun experience :)

Haha glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing :)

I loved this! The shrooms are adorable and the gameplay is on point. The music was a little loud on entry but I didn't mind it. Great job! :)

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) Ill definitely work on the controls a lot more next time!

Thanks for the feedback! That's a good idea, I may just need to use Cinemachine next time instead of my own camera controller haha. Really appreciate the suggestions :)

This was really fun! The aesthetics were on point and I liked the little random dialogues when you go along. The music on startup is a little loud though. Setting it at half or third of the original volume will definitely help the initial introduction. But I do like that you can adjust it in the settings. Also, for shooting, it might be worth exploring the projectile spawning from where the gun point is at and going to the location of where the player's cursor hit goes. Overall, I really liked the game. Great job!

The music was really calming. I was expecting for the crabs and shells to disappear, but I realized they changed color haha. The sounds and music was definitely what stood out to me the most though. Great job.

This was really fun! The UI was solid and gameplay was simple and engaging. Well done.
