This is a masterpiece! I cannot say enough good things about this entry. Music was on point, sound effects, the mechanics... perfectly weighted to feel moth like, very clever level design, perfect difficulty for a game jam, beautiful simple artwork... The vignette when you hit things, lovely effect. The tutorial, absolutely amazing, so simple and worked introduced each part so gently and intuitively. You are an excellent game designer. Well done! I did it in 4mins, and loved every second!
Easy of understand, hard of dominate.
I find that sometimes, if I let that a yellow light foe catch you, the checkpoint is in a high position instead of low.
What I liked the most about the game was definitely the effect when you crash into things, and since that happens a lot, it's perfect haha. It's challenging and hard to control, but I think refining the controls a bit would help. Still, I loved the level design and everything overall, it's really well thought out. Great job!
Nice take on the theme. It simulates really nice the way a fly acts and hits everything on its way.
The lamps are quite challenging but still a cool platformer.
I laughed and screamed soo much LOL. very frustrating and fun. No chance I was going to beat your time or even come close. Excellent game, really enjoyed it.
Overall - I laughed. I cried. I screamed in frustration and then in sweet, sweet victory. Awesome game. Great job making me feel so many emotions so close to bed time.
Fun - In a masochistic kind of way, yeah. And yet, I was DETERMINED to see it to the end. So fun was definitely had!
Theme - Fit the theme nicely!
Aesthetics -Solid aesthetics. Very minimalist, which was perfect because there was a LOT going on with the controls.
Music - A wonderful juxtaposition to the righteous fury I was feeling every time I smacked my eyeballs on a wall.
Sound -Perfect, unobtrusive, excellent.
Mechanics - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! That said, kudos for making a checkpoint system. I definitely wouldn't have played it through to the end without that.
Story - I mean, who doesn't want to reach the moon?
I like the gameplay, music, and especially the level design. though it was challenging. this is a good game
This is a tough game. It's good. I think the physics needs a bit of tweaking to be a bit friendlier at the start Awesome concept and setup. I was impressed at how you treated the bonk on the head vs the body.
I played a lot longer than I should have haha. I made it pretty far to only get stunned and fall ALL the way back down xD. Controlling the bug was so difficult for me. Great work!
