Wow! Thank you! That put a big smile on my face to read, really glad you enjoyed it so much and it was a good capstone to the end of your jam rating journey!

Really sorry you got stuck on it! The panel itself with the arrows will display the order of the arrows to press when it beeps by changing their colour to the pattern you're intended to press, however the change in colour of the arrows is may be more subtle for some than I realized, it's from the standard yellow colour to an orange. I already knew it was a bit difficult to see, but depending on the player's display capabilities and setup, I suppose it might be possible for it to be almost indistinguishable from the starting colour, it was on my list of things to adjust to make it more obvious, but completely ran out of time on it and figured it wouldn't have been that big of a problem, that's on me! Thanks for trying to play though, and for writing up such a detailed account! ^^
Neat atmospheric experience! Wish there was a bit more sound effects and ambiance with that, and also interested in how the mini map actually functioned, I noticed the ground was constantly changing in it and it even went completely black as I was nearing the end of the game. Overall a nice submission though!
Hewwo! We are a 2 person team looking specifically for a 2D artist! I wear every hat but primarily prefer to focus on game design, programming, systems, implementation, etc. My partner is a writer and will be handling that and the music. The project will be created in Unity but no Unity experience is required, we just need someone who can produce character and (even simple) background art.
I went to university for computer science (with specialization in game design), but have been practicing game design on my own in some form or another since I was little, I made my first video game when I was 11. My partner has been a TTRPG (specifically D&D) DM and writer for effectively his entire life, and has recently started making his own music.
Our goal with this game jam is primarily for practice, learning, and to submit a finished, playable experience. This is out first visual novel, but will be my 5th game jam, every previous jam I have submitted a fully working playable from start to finish experience.
Let us know if you're interested/a good fit and we'll provide a Discord link for further discussions!
