This game was made in a 10 day period as a submission for the "VimJam 4" game jam in September 2023.

You can see our "devlog" posts about it here on our instagram account.

Hi @DrewV, thank you so much for taking the time to play our game. We are a mom & pop game studio that just started a few months ago and we will definitely take notes from your feedback as we develop this prototype into a full game.

We will be updating our progress soon on our website and instagram account so please check back periodically on our website (you can get our first game there, too!) and follow us on instagram for the latest updates.

And again, thank you for your words of encouragement.

I meant the feel of the balls as they slow down due to their friction on the table. I liked it 👍

I guess I could’ve said the “friction” of the balls.

Good job with this game! I like the drag mechanics and I especially enjoyed it when I realized you can hit another cueball.

Hi @meekbug, thank you so much for playing Truck Rush! We note down and appreciate all feedback as we plan the next step in the development of this prototype into a full game, so thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.

I found your submission very impressive, especially for such a short development time, and most of all those animations looked amazing. I can tell you really know what you're doing and hopefully I will get there some day. This was the second I've made, but definitely not the last!

Thank you so much for playing, @Dogveloper! We appreciate all feedback and you are 100% correct about the spawn rate. We will definitely consider this as we move to making this a full game.

I haven't had a chance to play your submission yet, but I will later tonight. Thanks again for your time!

Thank you so much for playing, @ArtSurock! We appreciate all feedback and I agree with both points you brought up. We will definitely consider this as we move to making this a full game.

And by the by, I loved your submission. I thought the concept was quite unique and was so easy to pick up. I especially liked your background visuals with the cubes and the filters of different colors based on which wall you're looking thru. Great work!

Hi @Aesaire, this is a great implementation of a puzzle game. I especially like the way you incorporate the tutorials little by little. It's something we need to incorporate in my games.
I was enjoying the game but unfortunately I kept getting stuck on the 3rd level without being able to progress to the exit (the character wouldn't move down).

It might be because I'm using safari on a Mac, but I thought I should let you know.
Otherwise great submission. Good luck!

Thank you so much for playing, @Aesaire! We appreciate all feedback and will definitely incorporate your suggestion as we develop this prototype into a full release.
