I really liked the graphics and audio. I think this would be made even more fun if the player could either arrange their road pieces however they want to get the longest path, or if the game did that automatically. The selection of road pieces you end up with seems a bit random, and since they just get put down in order, I end up wasting most of them. But maybe I just need to get better at it.

Overall, I enjoyed Truck Rush. Keep it up!

Hi @DrewV, thank you so much for taking the time to play our game. We are a mom & pop game studio that just started a few months ago and we will definitely take notes from your feedback as we develop this prototype into a full game.

We will be updating our progress soon on our website and instagram account so please check back periodically on our website (you can get our first game there, too!) and follow us on instagram for the latest updates.

And again, thank you for your words of encouragement.

Impressive work! The technical execution is well done and the creativity shines through. It took me several attempts to master, but it was well worth it. The theme and options were fantastic, although a tad quick by just 0.3 seconds or so. I also enjoyed the competitive element against other buses.

I found your submission very impressive, especially for such a short development time, and most of all those animations looked amazing. I can tell you really know what you're doing and hopefully I will get there some day. This was the second I've made, but definitely not the last!

Very good implementation of the theme/limitation, the simple "sticker book" visuals are super charming, only issue I had was that on certain times the spawn rate was too fast and that affected knowing which tiles I was were grabbing. Other than that, Good job!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing, @Dogveloper! We appreciate all feedback and you are 100% correct about the spawn rate. We will definitely consider this as we move to making this a full game.

I haven't had a chance to play your submission yet, but I will later tonight. Thanks again for your time!

Unique concept! Maybe a little too fast, it's hard to know which tiles you're catching, and it'll be nicer to see the road because it's hard to remember it.

But it's a really unique idea, and with a little tweaking it could be a great game!

Thank you so much for playing, @ArtSurock! We appreciate all feedback and I agree with both points you brought up. We will definitely consider this as we move to making this a full game.

And by the by, I loved your submission. I thought the concept was quite unique and was so easy to pick up. I especially liked your background visuals with the cubes and the filters of different colors based on which wall you're looking thru. Great work!

Enjoyed the playful videos and audio, it suited the game well. I found it difficult to memorize the  orientation of the tiles that I had just received when the speed of the tiles increase a lot. Still, I was able to stack a lot of straight roads in order to win. I think something like obstacles in order to incentivize other tiles would be useful. Overall, fun experience once you get the hang of it.
