Really fun to play. I liked how you incorporated so many of the themes and how the cross path and color changing worked. The pace was good to let me think through sequences. And I appreciated how well put together the complete game was from credits, settings, and all. Enjoyed playing and nice job!

The music you picked really fit your games aesthetic. Lining a bunch of colors up and just downing them all together felt super satisfying (even if it was a happy accident for me once or twice). Tension builds and things get faster at a steady and fair rate. And it was simple to understand and drop into once you've played it for a second. Great job on this game!

fun and addictive! Once you get the hang of it, you can play for a while. Good job!

Simple but well executed core gameplay, swapping colours to set up multiple shapes of the same colours was really addictive. Just a suggestion to add a little juice to the game, you could use different sound effects depending on how high the combo is (for example having a more spectacular sound when you hit 2 or 3 of the same colour in one hit). Retro soundtrack fit the minimalist art style well, overall very good submission to the jam, congratulations.

This was an insanely good entry! Felt “complete”. Loved the animations, the colors, music was solid, overall something I’d play happily all the time when in the mood for neon action puzzles (and yes that’s absolutely a mood or vibe). Well done, NAILED it.

Zero complaints.

I have to say, this is one of my favourite games! It was so addictive, easy to pick up, yet great depth!

Congratulations on a great arcade game! I loved the colours and the effects!

What a banger game! Would love to see this on mobile. No suggestions. Very solid game. Actually one suggestion. Just make everything super neon and check what that looks like. Something like this? I think with a color scheme and lighting like this the game would pop!

Developer

I'll consider trying the solid colors approach for sure! For the jam I wanted to get a look more or less like the Vectrex with CRT bloom. Thanks for the feedback!

Very neat and enjoyable work, reminds me of old symbian games somehow, but I wish it had faster difficulty progression. Also, how have you managed to make glow work on godot in web, have you used custom shader?

Developer

yep, was a shader since world env doesnt work on web for whatever reason. https://godotshaders.com/shader/bloom-post-processing-for-viewports/ it is a bit of a setup, but it is worth.

Thank you for sharing, will definetely use it

Really neat concept! Starts a little slow in difficulty but ramps up really fast, I think the difficulty curve could use a little fine tuning but it's nothing major. Overall I still really enjoyed it, had some very tense moments while playing!

Balancing is a weak side of mine... It is hard to get everything to the perfect values on the time of a jam. Thanks for playing!

Great concept! I enjoyed it, nice work.

The concept is one of the bests I've seen so far, and it's very very fun to play. Congrats, nothing really bad to say!
