Really fun concept!
We may or may not started screaming at each other of pure frustration haha

Very well made, lovely art and sound effect. Honestly I think this would be a great game to port to the Nintendo Switch as the co-op nature could work well with the joycons. Really fun to make mistakes as well and try to fix your course. Nice work :)
This game is great, the first one in this jam that I gave full marks to. :D The controls take a while to get used to, but until you get the hang of it, lots of laughs are had. My only nitpick would be that I'd like to be able to restart the level with R at any point, rather than only when I yeet out of bounds.
I feel it plays easier as a single player lol. Funny premise and great artwork, music really fit the mood and appreciate the voiceovers! Feel like it could benefit from bigger sized levels or a more zoomed out perspective.
I love both the concept and execution. your game is "Out f Control" without being uncontrollable. I'm not quite sure if it could support an entire game, but I could totally see it in some sort of Wii sports or Wario ware collection of high quality party minigames. I think the rocks could be a little more jagged and spiky visually as a warning to the player, but I have no major complaints.
Very fun game, the announcer reminds me of the wii sports announcer. It definitely has a lot of potential in the level design. Great job!
Fun game, I would enjoy playing with my brothers. I think the only comment I could make it see there seem to be obstacles past the finish line. I would make sure that they cannot cause a leak on your boat that would push you back out into sea.
Awesome game fantastic job! Really fun! Fits the theme brilliantly, Super unique! Incredibly creative ideas, could definitely see this as a final produce game even a co-op where one player handles the left and the other the right! Super fun! :D
This game forces you to communicate especially when there is a hole in the dingy.... Nice and Fun concept! The voice acting adds a nice touch too!
Amazing Job!
Once you get the rhythm playing this as a single player is relatively easy (relatively is definitely the key word in this sentence.) Playing this as two players was laughable (not just because we were crowded around where I had my keyboard positioned). Beautiful art, spectacular physics, wonderful smooth movement controls and the responsivness to the power of the stroke was great. My only suggestion is a bigger field of play, on a few of the puzzles it was almost impossible not to go out of bounds, while this would lower the diffculty a small amount I am pretty sure this could be overcome with a few well placed rocks or bouys. Really well done job.
Thank you for taking the time for giving us feedback! Making the field a bit bigger is quite a common thing that people have been suggesting so we've been tinkering around with it for the post-jam version. Thank you for the kind words and playing the game! This was our first jam game so it means a lot!
This is such a fun game!! Two players is hillarious!!. Controller suport would be awesome, so you might be able to paddle "a bit". You did all the art and audio of the game, that's really impresssive!. Great original game, I saw it in a lot of streams, and didn't imagined it's soo challening! haha. When you see someone playing, it looks so easy, but when you actually play it is super hard!. Nice job! congrats on your game!
Clever! I thought the air pressure dropping when you hit a rock was a nice touch. Great work!
Oh buoy, what a fun idea!
And I think this could be a whole lot of fun to play with a friend, but even alone this is fun.
What I will say is I think the game could benfit from streamlined controls, since the dinghy is hard enough to control as is (especially in later levels). My suggestion would by holding down the button to prepare a row and letting it go to execute it, with how long you hold down the button influencing how much strength is put into the row.
But the current controls work fine enough to play.
Really, all around a solid entry.
Thanks for the feedback! We have been experimenting with different controls for the post-jam version concluded that the main issue is that we're not communicating when the oar will perform a large stroke compared to a small stroke. We're going to be focusing more on fixing that for the next update but of course we might add a one button option similar to how you described just to allow for more than one way to play. Thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback!
Gave this game a try based on your comment that it was similar to ours, and I LOVE IT!!! So cool how similar and different the two are. I love how yours was "calmer" in terms of being able to take the obstacles at your own pace, but got a similar frantic feeling once you started "going out of control". I especially loved how getting a hole in your raft made air escape that pushed you around. The style and music were wacky and funny. Love love love.
Only tiny comment is that I wish I could restart the levels at any time with R rather than only after I had lost. There were a few runs I knew were doomed but had to wait it out before the game ended.
I want to play more levels!
(quick edit: I could see a bunch of modes for this, including a battle "joust" mode where you try to pop the other player's raft, or edge them out in a dangerous course. Clearly you got my mind going haha.)
Thank you for the feedback! We've actually already added the ability to restart the level by pressing R in our post-jam update so that will be in there. We're also planning on making a couple more levels too and we've been experimenting with a bunch of different modes so keep an eye out for that! Your game is really good too! I hope you guys expand on it after the rating period is over
