I really enjoy the simplicity of the game as well as the unexpected hopping between time. I had a lot of fun trying to steal treasure in one time period and then having to escape skeletons when transported into the other. Would love to see this game developed more.

How does your game fit the theme?
When the time stone gets stolen, the player gets catapulted back and forth through the centuries. Time and Space is out of control! (Even though all art and sound effects were pre-existing, the music was written during the jam. This is my first ever game )
Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?
We used pre-existing art

Nice idea, and awesome visual style! The game is a bit buggy though
PS: I will be tweeting about this game, and some other games I will play from the jam: https://twitter.com/TheAntonSem/status/1284852745510563840
Congratulations on the game! I like the idea of an out of control time traveling pirate who's power is both a blessing and a curse. The presentation is wonderful, although I wish the game would reach a conclusion, maybe by returning to your boat after you finish looting the area. A very satisfying demo.
Good luck!
Hey I haven't played your game (I'm on mac) but I did see it on Mark's stream. Just wanted to say well done! Really impressive for a first jam! The time mechanic is really cool and you could definitely take it to so many different places. The one thing that I thought while watching Mark play it, was that the environment would probably benefit from having more recognizable landmarks that immediately tell the player "this the same place but a different time" - Great Job
(haven't rated it cos I don't think it would be fair since I haven't been able to play it for myself)
Hey, thanks for your feedback nonetheless, really appreciate it! I will take what you said into consideration when I continue working on the game. I'm quite excited for all the potential of world building and other mechanics I want to include. Might even make a mac build, if there is demand for it ;)
That's incredible for a first game! Well done :)
And I liked the way you handled roof teleportation bug ;) (Or maybe that's not a bug!)
Appreciate your feedback. Thanks for catching that, it's not really a bug, it's more of a necessity since I don't want the player to be trapped inside a space he can't see . But I intend to build this out even further, so that wall sections can also be explored. For the jam that was a bit out of scope though :)
Wow I love this game's art style! I hope you keep working on this after the jam. Great work!
I really loved the same space, different times mechanic in Titanfall and Dishonored and this was a really cool take on it! Not being able to control the time made you constantly have to juggle between challenges in both times. The art style and music were really good too! I did encounter one glitch where I died, then when I respawned the camera was broken, so I had to restart the game. No worries though since obviously game jam games are gonna have some bugs in them.
Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad that you enjoyed my game. To be honest I have never played Titanfall or Dishonored, but probably should check out the levels in question since they also got mentioned when Mark played my game during the live stream. I actually got the inspiration for the different times from Soul Reaver's spectral plane.
I will work on the bugs when the game jam is over, and then start expanding on the idea. Keep an eye out, because there is more to come! ;)
Exploring the same spaces in different time periods is a really cool idea! At first I was not sure what was happening when it jumped around time, but that was because I didn't read the intro info first... my bad. Really cool environments and visual style as well.
The atmosphere was great! I really liked the time travel concept although it was a bit to frequent to my taste. Good job!
I would appreciate it if you'll have time to check out my game.
Really neat game! Great job on the audio, the game sounds great. I liked the mechanic too, it was a nice challenge to have to plan out where I will reappear in order to avoid the skeletons. I had a bug where some text was rendering over other text so I couldn't read it but restarting fixed it. It would be cool to see this game expanded on!
Love the concept, there's huge potential to expand on this into something much bigger. Great job, especially for your first game!
