i didnt know what to do when i got to the part "engage left thruster". my ship just left the screen and never came back :/
Hey thanks for the feedback! You could use the right arrow key and Z to navigate the ship
i tried pressing right arrow but my ship still didnt return to the screen
The right arrow was used to steer the ship you also needed to press Z to bring the ship up :)
Wow this is a pretty cool game, well done doing it!!!
Cool idea, really fits into the game! Good job!
Thanks for playing!
Really cool Idea and well polished! Would love to see more levels with maybe a few new mechanics like a simpler version of 'lovers in a dangerous spacetime' with you losing control of the engine. Good job! would love to see the full version.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it!
Really like your idea! Don't really see many entries using the theme as more of story element. Was a bit confused at first on the buttons to press besides X, but trial and error eventually got me to realize it was Z. Other than that, I hope you finish the game, I want to know what happens next :)
Thanks! Yeah I was worried it wouldn't be super intuitive, Pico 8 has a not so clear button icon for Z. Glad you liked it though! I will be making a sequel to continue the story :D
This game is pretty cool! I really enjoyed it, i liked the art style, please keep working on it even after the jam, i think that's a cool project! Please check out my game too :D
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I'm thinking of working on a sequel, stay tuned if you're interested!
I tried to check out your game but I'm on a mac :/
Do you have a browser/mac version? Looks really cool though!
I always love a Pico-8 game! I really liked this game although I realise you probably ran out of time to make it longer. I hope you build on it afterwards!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I did have to make some cuts to meet the deadline but I'm thinking of making a part 2!
I like the idea of having to do multiple tasks to get your ship back into working order. I did notice that when I went back through the text, it overlapped multiple texts at one point. Nice work, it was fun!
Thanks for playing! Yeah I found that bug moments before submitting, will try to fix it in the future!
A nice game, too bad it's so short! I would love to see more of it. I finished it a few times to be sure I didn't miss some clue about what happened. By the way, it seems that the last number of the password can be anything but 0 for the system to accept it.
Keep making more games!
(and I saw the Metroid reference :D)
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I wish I had some more time to expand on it, I'm thinking of making a part 2! I wasn't aware of the password bug, thanks for the heads up. Glad you enjoyed it and cool to see you found the Metroid reference :D
Good game! I really like the atmosphere. Nice to see other pico8 games around here :D
Awesome atmosphere and visuals! Really wanted to play more!
Thanks man, thinking of making a second part!
Very nice game. I liked puzzles but the visuals were the best bit! very classic and cool. Great job - i wanted to play more!
Awesome glad you enjoyed it!
Interesting concept. You went with the theme from a narrative standpoint, that's cool.
Yeah I tried to convey the feeling of being out of control! Thanks for checking it out!
Nice atmosphere! Puzzles are short but adequate!
Thanks for playing!
Assuming that making it through the barrier was the end, I have finished the game. Very polished work! I could see the "only 1 directional thruster" mechanic being interesting in a navigation/combat setting but the limited usage is sadly limiting.
Yeah I wanted to do more with it but had to make some cuts to meet the deadline! Thanks for checking it out!
Managed to make it on my second play through! Great job for a first-time jam game.
Thank you and thanks for playing!
Maybe it was the sound design but I can see some potential psychological horror game out of this.
Pretty nice.
Yes! I had that in the back of my mind the whole time!
What a fun and original game! I guess I was a tiny bit confused at a couple points because I didn't know how to proceed (I did figure it out so no worries), but I really do like the fact that it's story driven and it's a strong entry imo.
I could also see it with a more elaborate soundtrack, but what music you did use is incredibly fitting and adds to the atmosphere :)
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I wanted to make you feel a little bit lost (like the pilot himself) but still manage to figure things out. And yeah I wish I had more time to add some more music! Glad you enjoyed it!
That was good. I panicked when my ship lost behind the dialogue box :)
You could say you felt... Out of control XD haha sorry, thanks for checking it out!
