A really intricate and oneiric world! It's so unlike everything else I've played in this jam and was quite overwhelming at first. But then everything settled into place and I began to get a grasp of the story. This narrative could easily be expanded upon to last a whole novel! :)
I feel like the music really added to the experience (and maybe art in the future could've enhanced that). I personally would prefer if music from one screen (or one "page") would last until the next page so it wouldn't be cut out so abruptly. Overall, it was a magical experience!
Very vivid and long writing, a breath of fresh air in all those wacky games;d Though that's why it was a bit overwhelming... I wonder if its possible for twine to have a bit more complex investigation for each paragraph where You have separated description of what is going on, the emotions, and what can happen next (edit and can click on each part that interest player to see it). Though maybe it would be possible to just write each paragraph in such a way? This way faster players may just get to the parts they are interested in.
My biggest issue was as many said the music: its was very nice, but when its changing each time it gets annoying:/
About the music playing stuff - if I got it correctly... I completed game only once... maybe it would be possible to have like introduction of couple songs (two even) that cause different situations, and the player has to figure out what to use when?
In the end, nice experience.
EDIT: I think the easiest thing to fix the music for this jam would be to just ask the players to run it (one of the songs) and play the game. That way its impact could be better.
The music was really nice and I was actually invested in the story. It was well written and I really did love every second of it. The music really set some beautiful moods for every scenario. This was a very relaxing experience and I did enjoy it. Great job overall :)
Neat twine entry with superbly atmospheric audio work. Would be nice if the music could linger on longer between segments - stopping them immediately after each choice feels a little jarring.

The audio implementation is a repeated comment and I'm glad to get it because I'm definitely improving how I put that in for the next game! Currently it's just Soundcloud embeds, but there are a 100 other ways to do it, so I'll look into either getting them from mp3s and crossfading, or building in better fades on the soundcloud embeds next time. Very beautiful game, I tried to take the courageous route and ended up staying with the Messenger on their planet. I'm surprised you were able to write all this up in only 48 hours. The music isn't really my style, but it definitely fit the story. Loved it!

This was a surprisingly good game, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like visual novels. Good Job!
Out of everything to play in the jam a visual novel was not one I expected. It was an enjoyable story with some great music, but rated as a video game loses some "fun" points. It was intriguing, yes but not quite amusing. The fact that it is a visual novel as well makes the adherence to the theme a little blurry, but overall this is a pretty neat package.
Really great music and atmosphere. Between all the chaos ridden controls warpy inverted games, that was relaxing to play !
I'm with the other commenters on making the switch between songs less jarring. I believe Unity has support for Twine imports -- then you could use the AudioSource functions to fade different sounds in and out as the story requires. Given how light the gameplay is (from a code perspective), you could get really out there with the soundscape if you wanted to.

The music supports the story really good. I enjoyed reading this and you could add pictures or drawings to make the experience more interesting!
The story is kinda interesting, but I would've liked more feedback. For example: am I making the right choices and how does a certain decision impact the timeline. The soundtrack restarting/changing each screen is also a bit jarring. Lastly, I didn't notice the undo/redo button until I read the description.
Thanks for the feedback! The reason I decided to make the choices aren't "right" or "wrong" is because the narrative is how I approached the "out of control" theme and wanted it to be more ambiguous. The feedback for player's choices is something I'll def consider implementing more solidly in future gamebooks though.
