Nice text adventure !

Good work !

A unique approach to story games. As I'm not a very fast reader, it took me a few attempts back to fully grasp the story and read all of the text in full. As I began to understand it, it was enjoyable to read.

As the choices seemed to affect other choices, it became pretty complex to know all of the possible choices and I didn't quite get how did the choices affect the story. It might be too hard for me to understand.

The flickering text after you go back added quite a horrific feeling to the story. Although the backpack added a surprising comedic effect to me how you focused on the phone charger in the middle of danger.

Good job!

Whoa this is sick, I really like how you went down the narrative route OuO The simple visuals also work really nicely

Really compelling game, I liked how the interface itself slowly broke apart so you had a sense of progression even as the story was looping. A narrative game definitely stands out in this jam. Good work!

As others have said love the story would. I especially like how you can go back for slow readers like me :)

The first text adventure that I've played in this jam, and I gotta say it's pretty great! The story definitely has this mysterious, almost horror feel. I'd love to see more endings as well, as other comments have said. Some of the letters started flashing on repeated playthroughs, which I'm pretty was intentional (and an awesome effect btw) but if it wasn't I guess that would be the only bug I found. Overall great entry!

The glitching text was absolutely intentional! Thank you for playing, I have ideas for more endings post jam. :D

Really awesome story here! Really clever how you pieced it all together. I had a couple glitches with the text but felt it fit with the story a little, so not sure if it was intentional or not.. But either way amazing job for a game jam! Great work!

very interesting and original story! i loved the visual effects of text glitching, and options disappearing and appearing based on the previous choices the player had made. the ending was cool, but i wished there were multiple endings (or that the choices i made actually had an impact on the ending). i played through a few times and always got the same ending. it felt like i had no control over what was happening (which i imagine was the point, right?) but i think it might have added some fun/replayability if there was some control the player had. overall, this is a really polished and cool game, so great job!

Thank you for playing!! Your choices do matter, but in how the world interacts with you moving forward. I do have plans for more official endings, and would like to implement them post jam!

Love these sort of text games where things break down and it rewrites over itself in an interesting way. Nicely done!

This game is incredibly made and the writing (as always!!) is absolutely fantastic. The concept is creative and you're kept guessing throughout. The ending is really well done and all the glitches on the text are a really fun touch.  The characters are intriguing and the plot is really creative and it's clear you worked incredibly hard on this (and it paid off!). Well done, I hope you're really proud of this <3 (dare I say it's ... spectacular)

This is great. I really like your idea.Super cool narrative concept and incredible writing.Nicely simple and well executed. The atmosphere was really amazing.I got so much fun in this game . Awesome.

Wow, fantastic writing, the atmosphere is very well realized! Unique take on the theme as well.

It is a bit weird reading with a time limit though - it gives the player less chance to take it all in. If you are considering updating this after the jam, I would considering adding a little box the player has to click on before the choices appear, or something like that, and the timer only starts when the player has opened the choices.

The way the game utilises dying and starting over is really clever, fits the spooky atmosphere, and makes this game that much more than a simple choose-your-own-adventure. Amazing job!

I honestly am not usually a fan of these types of games, but for some really weird reason your game drew me in the moment i started reading... damn you sucked me right in and I really wanted to get out of that god damned limo  really well done

Fascinating. Fascinating and macabre and beautiful. Maybe this is because I really enjoy text-based games and meta stuff and all that but this was a legitimately amazing experience. I really am not sure what to critique. Everything was effective: the degrading text (which reminds me of the show Russian Doll, I think you'd enjoy it if you haven't seen it, it's on Netflix), the corrections, the consistency that is hinted at when the clubber remembered me wanting to talk, and confirmed with the charger. The prose itself was of course very well written. I really want to come back to this one, I am blown away.

I just rated your great game! Thank you very much for watching the stream yesterday!
I would appreciate it if you could check out my game too!

Submitted(+1)

I enjoyed but I couldn't survive :(

Also I didn't get the point of time limit when you can undo your choices. I must have missed something.

BTW, It's fun. Well done :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! What do you mean by undoing your own choices?

Submitted(+1)

There's a back and forward on the top left corner, right?

When I click on back button it takes me to previous Text. Maybe I misunderstood their functionality?

Developer(+1)

The arrows are a helpful feature if you need more time to read the text, though they aren't part of the actual game and shouldn't affect the progression!

The most original game of this jam so far!! Loved it =)

The story was short yet there was nothing superfluous. A simple premise with great execution: reliving a car crash (from an uber pool) over again until you change the timeline. I like how it at first adheres to the theme (the situation is "out of control" there's nothing you can do), but slowly, with time, you have to gain back your agency and make meaningful choices. Excellent job :)

I liked the story that is told with this. I think it paints a neat picture. I found that some of the pages were a bit long, and I'm a bit slow to read and found that it just moved on without me exactly finishing. I think I ended up playing through just about all the routes because I didn't have any options by the end.

Thank you for playing! Were you able to escape the limo?
