Thank you! I hoped to have a key/door and killable units, but I sadly ran out of time!

Amazing art direction as always!
Really nice tight controls. Starts simple and has a great difficulty curve towards the end of level 1! The transitions and little dust effects are cool as hell, and the background music is catchy and doesn't feel repetitive!
My only minor points are:
- It would be cool if when you talk to a character, the player character walks to the point they would snap to, just as a fun little detail!
- There are some instances of when the next platform you need to jump on isn't in view. Unsure if it's on purpose for a bit of challenge, but just wanted to flag it up just in case!
- I almost went straight past the checkpoints as I didn't notice them at first! Something to make them stand-out a little would be great, or force me to walk through one so I know what to look for would be awesome!
I'll continue to play it, but I got stuck when I met the cat. The conversation didn't continue, so I got stuck 😅, but I shall persist!
Amazing stuff!!
Thank you for your lovely feedback! and also thank you for playing!
You're right, the controls are a bit too complicated! However I wasn't sure what else to map them to, to be honest. During development, I started with simply jumping detatched you, but that led me to accidentally re-attatching to other brothers, or the stack I just left. So I added holding/releasing shift as a way to toggle connections happening or not with the player. I do agree, and it sounds logical, to have a more integral feature to have a simpler control scheme though. I'm sure I'll solve it somehow!
and you're right about the physics! When you've written it out like that, I'm not entirely sure why I programmed it like that! Haha. I have very little experience writing platforming things, so I was just happy it worked! However, that's not an excuse, thank you for pinpointing exactly what the issue is! I really super appreciate it.
I'm glad you liked the concept overall, thank you so much for playing, and again for such lovely indepth feedback! I appreciate it a lot :)
I'm glad you enjoy the idea and it's connection to the theme! I had a lot of fun making the sound effects, haha!
I'm really sorry to hear you got stuck! I think it happens sometimes when a brother lands on your at a specific place, but I didn't have time to fix it, sadly.
Thank you for giving the game a go! :)
I'm glad you like the concept!
I'm sorry you got stuck! It's a problem I would like to solve in a future release. Perhaps climbing up a stack of brothers as a singular brother would fix that issue, and add for more interesting puzzles to solve...
Thank you for the feedback! and you're right, the platforming aspect could be better and can definitely can be improved!
Thank you for playing :)
