Not sure if there is a way to control the hit strength?
A pretty original and fun idea, congrats on finishing the jam !

You hit harder if you aim further away from the ball!

Really cool that you were able to pull off such a polished game! Amazing, good job!

Really really liked the couch multiplayer aspect. I was going through jam entries with my friend and we had a lot of fun with this one.

Edit: Also, I won, in case you were wondering.

Congratulations on your win!

Let's play 8-Ball!

Fun take on the Pool format! It's like adding Mario Kart power-ups (or debuffs, I s'pose) into a pool match. What side of the ball it lands on could use a little bit of visual clarification, and a personal nitpick of mine is it'd be nice to speed up the CPU's shots so one can get to the playing part quicker, but quite dig this take otherwise!

Very fun take on pool, and I quite liked how the dice theme came into it. I didn't encounter any issues, and it was very nice to see a two-player game in here.

This was a cool idea and fun to play. It wasn't always clear what side of the ball was up, also it was a bit confusing what the effects did due to a delay. But the base idea was super creative and fun :)

Pretty interesting idea! Nice job!

Just played this locally with my buddy, nice to see a two-player-game :D Cool stuff!
...I lost btw :)

Developer(+1)

Cool to hear someone doing local two-player!

Nice to see another sport get some love. I liked the idea, but I do think a few things could be changed to make it much better. I think its a little slow and having no control over power is a little frustrating. I also think pool rules should have been followed a bit better, for example getting a ball in should give you another shot.

This is a really good start, great work!

You can aim your mouse further away from the ball to shoot further!

Ah okay. In that case my bad, but an indicator line would go a long way in conveying that to the player.

Really good idea. I enjoyed playing. Bit frustrating on the slow side. But had some fun.

Great job !

I like the take on the theme its refreshing to play a game that doesnt have like the same mechanics as all the other games, which made me enjoy this game more!

The pool physics feel pretty good. I like the design of the balls -- black dots on colors vs colored dots on black. That's pretty clever. The random effects add an interesting touch and don't detract too much from normal pool. Visuals and audio are nice!

A neat idea! Pool physics was really nice, and a cool way to put dice in a game!
