Really cute, nice game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)

Great visuals! Played for a while and didn't even realize their was land to find until I can back here and saw it in the screens! :|
Water combat was fun, but I wasn't able to do much with land exploration. Most egregious was that you couldn't jump over a clam until it was closed, and if it randomly opened, its shell could kill you instantly. Which is weird for shells and makes what looked like a possible safe place into an unsafe place.
Really love the animation and visuals. The game play was a bit difficult and unforgiving. If that was fixed, it'd be a superb game :) Great work. I also loved the combat. As far as dodging enemies on land. that was a bit hard. Maybe if we re-spawned at the island shore instead of at sea.
Well done. I wish there were some checkpoint saves. Maybe I just didn't get far enough. I usually died pretty soon after arriving at the island.
Yes finally I completed with ~1800 coins! :D
I was saying it would be great if you could add on to Chocobo's World and you actually did with platformer parts.
I enjoyed jumping and dodging crabs better than sea battles, sea battles were repetitive as hell so no wonder.
I think you could make this game a large scale thing with a better combat system and a story. That would be wonderful.
Yeah so, everything is great except mashing arrow keys :)
That was really nice. I really enjoyed the multiple mini game format; the surprising context switch the first time you see each one is pretty cool. I really enjoyed the presentation too, with the start screen and the little intro cutscene. You can feel a ton of design work in every scene, from the font designs to the way the sprites interact with each other in the water. Top notch stuff.
I sort of wish you had gone for a more colorful palette though. This monochrome one demonstrates a heck of a lot of skill, but it just leaves me wondering what it would look like with more hue contrast.
It was a very nice experience!
I really enjoyed the aesthetics
Other than the button mashing sea combat, I love everything about this game! Very well done! Fun exploration, good platforming. Nice graphics, good sound effects.
The gameplay is awesome, the graphics are really nice and I love the music. I wish I had this game on my Game Boy 15 years ago! I loved it!
Time for an aaaarrrrdventure!
Sound, visuals, adventures, all tight and suitable. Good job!
Easy to understand but I had difficulty finding an island I'd died on. I got to it on the map but it was no where to be seen. But otherwise very solid, engaging and the aesthetic is spot on.
