Nice little game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)

Cool little game - i like it --- would be nice to have more balanced progression - and some UI tips\ indication

I don't like fishing, I'm just no patient for that. But surprisingly I played this game for long minutes. The pacing should be... well never mind, it's fishing. Also the upgrades speed up the things a lot so I'm happy about it. I like this game. Of course there is space for improvement, but I found it pretty good. Some water animation and ambience would be good.

It's like Cookie Clicker but with waiting! Which means it's exactly like real fishing.

Does where you fish matter? it felt like if I stayed in one spot too long it would slow down, so I'd go around to the other side of the lake, but is that just total hooey?

I wish the fishing mechanism was more engaging. Even if it was a matter of having casting having a timing element, or watching for fish jumping on the water.

Nice relaxy little fishing sim and agree that some sounds or ambient music would've definitely sold it.

I love the idea. It reminds me the time I expent fishing in the lake in Zelda OOT. I'm missing some ambient sound or music while you fish, since you need to wait for a bit. And some adjusted prices at the shop. Other than that very cool game.

Waiting as a core mechanic can be nice, but some atmosphere would have made it more enjoyable (wind or birds sound, some environment animations, etc.) Upgrading prices should be lower to hook you earlier into mid-term goals.

Nice aesthetic :). The idea is not bad, and you can feel the pleasure of catching a fish ... at the beginning.

The beginning is very slow. It becomes faster after I upgrade my hook. However after the second upgrade, you can feel that you are doing the same thing, again and again. The gameplay doesn't evolve (or I miss something ?).

Otherwise, you miss the opportunity to implement a great atmosphere into your game. There is no music, no effects, nothing that can make the experience better. The game is too "static", and it seems that we need to work hard to get that boat. But the game is boring (for me) after the first upgrades.

In addition, I dont' like when the camera is too close to the character, showing nearly nothing around him. But this is my opinion :p.
