This game is fun if you understand how to handle to obstacles.

Also, sound effect would be nice too.


I got to the end with a whole gang of followers, but the weird missile dude (who I had been successfully jumping over all the way until the end) cleared my squad, and I finished with only 4 followers.. I don't totally get this game, but it looks cute.

I like the animations!

At first, the game was a little bit confusing, and I had trouble determining which action let me keep my followers and what the timing was. Once I understood that actions were timed to last only two or three seconds, I started playing better and managed to send my whole team down the cliff multiple times. The music was fitting the joyful/carefree atmosphere well, and made the whole game even more fun to play and replay. Congrats!

@greysonp thanks for playing and the feedback! We wanted to keep it a 1-button game so it could be played in mobile with no extra screen space needed for controls. Also, a true leader is expected to react quickly to any challenges! ;P

Fun game, and cute graphics! My only suggestion would be to have a unique key for each state instead of having to cycle through. I would panic when things got close and would skip over the correct state.

@jumbledevs to overcome the news break you have to be in the 'open mouth' state (see the first screenshot on the left!) Thanks for playing!

The graphics are awesome and the idea is really cool, but I can't get past the NEWS BREAK enemy, whatever I do I lose all my followers. :<

Hard to work out what to do to pick up people and avoid losing them; it feels like this might be a good twitch game, or a good puzzle game, but trying to solve the puzzle of how to bypass each impediment and pick up each person while also trying to manage the twitch element of doing it all at the right time is overwhelming my poor brain...

Oh my, yes, upon further playtesting there's definitely a bug with the 'Newsbreak' enemy, sometimes it doesn't disappear and even takes away all your followers despite having reacted correctly to it. Very sorry for this :(

About the subpixel scaling, I'm not very sure, the renderer is tighly locked to do only 64x64, anyway I guess I cannot 'legally' change that before the voting ends! We didn't have time to animate it properly and resorted to do that cheap&quick scaling trick

It was difficult to defeat newsbreaks because there were so many inputs, and if you didn't do it fast enough, you'd lose everything.
But otherwise amazing job! :D

I don't understand why I am enjoying this game so much even though I'm losing horribly. XD Lovely aesthetic and characters. They make me extremely happy playing this. Confused on how to avoid the news break. Super Silly concept and I really enjoyed it.

ps: i know is a minor thing, but when the "breaking news" gets smaller it's breaking the 64x64 rule, as it involves sub-pixels. is very minor, but just a heads up ^^

Oh, I had a friend play it and he found out the pooping rainbows bit. I thought that animation meant you where tired and couldn't do another move for a moment.

Do you mean it is a bug? To neutralize news break the leader has to be in 'open mouth' state (three taps from the walk & dance state), if that's not working let me know!
