Hey this game was really well done! Sometimes the enemies did spawn a bit unfair but it has really enjoyable gameplay! Please find my video review below:

Theme interpretation
You can shoot the Moon, so that's kind of a moonshot.

Solid game and fits the theme really well. You executed everything you set out to do. A simple mechanic, minimal UI, and easy to distinguish visuals. Great work! Maybe the only improvement that can be made are small incremental adjustments to balance it a tiny bit better. I did feel like the moon shooting distance was a bit short.
Nice game!
I'm on German keyboard layout, so Z and Y are swapped for me. Adding same functionality to Y as Z would be nice :) But it still worked fine.
The moon shooting distance felt a bit too short, I'd like to see how the duration of pressing the shoot button makes the moon travel further.
Thanks for playing it!
I'm thinking about adding a custom controller mapping for the post jam version (which is also something I would like to be more careful on next jams).
Also I need to review the shooting distance, sadly I didn't have enough time to do too much play testing so that distance was pretty much the first one I tried and didn't suck hah.
Once again, thanks for playing it!
Love the concept and the graphics! I found myself wanting to be able to shoot the moon farther. I think a little "juice" on enemy deaths would go a long way as well.
Thanks! I didn't have enough time for play testing and small tuning, so yeah, it could definitely work going farther.
My biggest fear is to allow the player to push it too far to kill an enemy but then be helpless against closer ones (but that could even be a good choice to put on the player side!).
Anyway, thanks again for your comments!
Nice twist in the theme and the tower defense genre, the graphics and music are nice, don't know how this could be extended, but you're onto something. Good work!
A cool little mechanism. Definitely very interesting and new! I wonder if this could be made into something that is a bigger scale. Could become a very good platformer or puzzle game.
Quite interesting concept. I struggle a bit at the beginning to shoot enemies that were far, but then I understood that it was enough to use the moon as a shield.
Fun game. Controls worked great. Well done.
If you like platformers, please try our game.
This game has a very simple but satisfying playstyle. It was very fun and had a decent level of challenge (I think I lost somewhere in the 20s or 30s), and it didn't require me to go tryhard mode which I really enjoy. It seems like very much an open canvas too, like you've created a game where you can easily add on more and more to it post-jam while maintaining the core game loop. All around a great game and a fun time!
Simple and really fun! The controls are a bit hard to get used to at first but after a couple of deaths I got the hang of it and got pretty good (made it to wave 23 I think that's good? haha)
I liked the two kinds of attacks and it seemed well thought out for the enemy attack patterns. Would have liked to seen some sort of progression through the game though. Maybe the enemies can get tougher as the waves go along? I saw a couple of other games in this jam where they palette swapped the enemies and gave them different abilities/attack patterns. That might be an idea to explore as well.
Hope you keep working on the game and add more to it. The core mechanic is really fun and you could build a lot of interesting gameplay around it. :)
Thanks! Wave 23 is actually pretty good haha.
The game progression was quite out of scope for the jam, I just added the random generator for the waves since it was too hard to think and test a nice progression, but definitely gonna work on something for the post jam version.
Once again, thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Simple and addictive, did get a bit motion sickness after playing quite some waves though =)
I like this interpretation, using the moon as a shot. It's a little dizzying to watch the earth rotate constantly, maybe you could focus the camera on the earth?
