This is a very versatile strategy and resource management game.
Amazing work!

Moonshot might refer to a project that has some sort of "greatness" for a "great cause". However, how would you define "GREAT"? We wanted to make a game that in some way asks this question. (We should mention that this is our first game, making games is so much fun!)

Enjoyable game that rewards some strategic thinking in the beginning.
The pixel art graphics turned out great, and I love the fact that you get two factions to play off against each other, even if I didn't quite understand the mechanics behind that. I especially liked the design of the buildings and how increasing their tiers made them appear more and more detailed and over the top. Gameplay wise, I spent a couple minutes at the beginning going through all the buildings that would gain me net resources what order to build them in, then all I had to do was wait for my resources to pile up before building all of the 'net loss' buildings on the last turn, which worked out nicely, though I did end up just clicking through about 10 months with nothing to do, but the 'random' events were a nice distraction (and are certainly something that could be expanded upon). Two issues I had with the game were the fact that the pixelated text was quite hard for me to read and the fact that playing the game on a widescreen monitor distorted the button placement and I had to search around with my cursor to find what I was actually trying to click on.
Overall I'd say this is a really good game, especially since it is your first!
Great management game, and absolutely amazing music! I went with the "good guys" and was able to beat it, even though I was on my way to running out of energy xD
Really fun idea and cool retro implementation. I'd +1 the comments on the font being hard to read (esp. when playing on a smaller laptop screen size).
Thanks for checking out my game. i played yours it was very fun and it was a really good strategy game. the music track worked really well except when it said game over i was not sure why. it was also good there was a tutorial option i feel like without i would have had no idea what to do. overall it was a good game. Good job!
What a great game! It's unbelivable this is your first game!
It is really cool! And player will encounter lots of decisions. That really counts.
However, the font is not reading-friendly. I have to concentrate but still too tired!
This was a great game!
I wish the game over screen would tell you why you lost. I got a game over once even though seemingly all my numbers were find - maybe I ran out of trust on the evil side, but I couldn't check after I got the game over of course.
I love the way the two different music tracks transition into each other!
Hi snuffysam, I am sorry that the Game Over screen might have confused you why the game has ended. The game ends if one of the resources goes below 0, or the trust level on the yellow side is below 0, or that you have exceeded the maximum turn number (18).
However, I do believe I have text for each losing condition to inform the player about why they lost. So this might somehow be a bug that causes the game to end… would you like to tell me more about what you did so I can look into this?
Thank you very much for playing our game and giving feedback!
I think this is the best game I've played so far in this game jam! (played 50+ others so far)
I really enjoy strategy games, and the way you had to spend your resources here is really fun :)
I will not hold any grudges for you killing my in-game bird haha
I finished it on my 2nd attempt (once i understood that you lose after you run out of a certain resource haha)
I also really liked the secret base!
I finished the game without investing into Amenity at all, so wasn't too sure why you need it there (would like you to point out the reason if there is one haha)
Very well done! :D
This is a cool game! I loved the rando events! I did not figure out the magic formula and ran out of energy at some point! Video review below:

Thanks so much for playing our game and making this video! For some reason the music did not play on your playthrough… I am not sure if you are able to quickly open this again on a browser and checkout our music too!
I will look into the windows distro and figure out why the music did not play.
About the strategy, to win the game you actually don’t have to build and upgrade all facilities. You only need to achieve level 3 for the Space Harbor (yellow side) or the Photon Sail (purple side). That means you actually have to intentionally skip some builds.
Thanks again for taking the time to play our game and making the video!
Cool concept. Almost like an embezzlement simulator. As a player, I would have liked to have to balance the two sides against each other more. The music was good!
Nice game! I really liked the aesthethics and the sound and the gameplay is also quite fun. I would've liked more random events though as the game did get a bit repetitive after a few plays.
Nice management game! I enjoyed the pixel art and the relaxing music.
