How does your game fit the theme?
The controls are wacky, the production line in the game is out of control, and finally, the game eventually gets out of control with how many things it spawns. (Something special happens at 2000 highscore ;) )

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Yes

We created all art during the game jam

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

No

We used pre-existing audio

This game is dumb and I love it. The main thing I would wish for would be more control over the flapping jaw, but from what I can tell that was kind of the point. I unfortunately wasn't able to get to 2000, even while shimmying to try and knock my mouth open too much stuff just bounced out. I noticed you said you used pre-existing audio, which I assume means music, but I want to believe there's some giant compendium of this dude somewhat excitedly saying the names of objects. Good job on making a fun and silly game!

I love the humor, physics-based mechanics, and silly voice lines! It's a simple concept but it works really well, and there's a surprising amount of skill involved in landing each item in your mouth. The game also feels really good with the sound effects and camera shake. It did seem to get hard all of a sudden at one point though, and I really quickly went from having an easy time to dying really quickly.

This is a deeply silly game, and I love every part of it.

The menu was great, and ngl, i got addicted real fast. The physics were pretty good, and the idea was very original, my only issue was that all of the items had really good art, but the player could have used some work, unless that was what you were going for. Other than that, really really fun game

XD I had a bet going to see how long I could go without anyone saying it. roughly 1 week after the game was made is a pretty good record. Thanks for the honest feedback and I agree.

Pretty solid game! I really liked the way the menu works, very original

I had a ton of fun with this one, and I’m proud to say I earned my EotM award! The mouth physics were hilarious, and it also works real well as a game mechanic once you get the hang of it. Also, great voice-over on the items, haha.

Glad you enjoyed it about to go play your game now! :)

Did not expect to play this game from the theme, but glad I did. The animation reminded me a bit of attack on titan somehow, the jaw or something haha. Nice work!

Very fun and hilarious game!

Really well implemented concept, loved the character and the jaw (despite how frustrating it was sometimes.   JUST OPEN DAMNIT).   Only comment I would have is shift the delay between the spawn timer and the closing of the doors a bit or kill the currently spawning object, a few times the door closed and trapped the last version of the previous object which then fell with the next round.

Great job :)

This game is incredibly fun! Such a brilliant concept and executed brilliantly! I love the title screen and moving right to start that was a nice touch! Really awesome, great job! :D

This was really fun to play (Also very funny to play)! I love the concept and the post processing effects. One thing though is that it seemed a bit too easy, and felt a bit too controlled. Other than that though great game!

I've seen a similar game where you had to try to make a character's mouth to open and eat stuff, but despite that the game was very fun and simple! Sometimes because of collision, some objects would spin crazy after bumping into the character, but that didn't ruin the overall experience! Great job!

Presentation is really wacky! It's sometimes equally silly and mildly frustrating to watch all of the food fight with each other on the mouth and all go bouncing out, mostly the former though!

At first however I saw some things which were clearly not food and thought I wasn't supposed to eat them.

awesome. It's a great idea. 5 stars for fun and originality, but it needs to be a bit more difficult, so 4 stars for presentation. I also like that different sprites behave slightly differently instead of just looking different.

Was kind of weird, I wasnt too clear on what was better to eat... The out of control part is kinda fun though, maybe id even tone it up, because it still is a bit too easy to eat stuff. Maybe add some modifiers on what food the guy actually wants to eat and maybe you get extra points for that idk. In general it needs maybe a few more mechanics to spice things up

There was one main issue holding me back from adding more game mechanics in:

I'm a one man team and it didn't seem reasonable to extend the scope out too far and sacrifice the simplicity of what's already there. There were different attributes. Ham and discs give you the most points, different objects have different levels of bounciness and the size variety means certain things are more likely to stick in your throat. I felt like anything past that would take too much time away from play testing and refining. I didn't want to go with the idea of having some foods being beneficial and other detrimental as, though it would be more intuitive, it would sacrifice the mood I was going for. I am planning to add small effects to eating foods but nothing too noticeable.

Really well executed. Using physics really highlights that out of control feel, the game feels fair and the difficulty spikes are really fun because they come with a final point boost (due to tons of objects falling at the same time) before it gets hardcore!!

Fun! I wish I got paid for eating dice... :C
